Olympic Cauldron @ Jack Poole Plaza

A nice iconic landmark to visit while in Vancouver.
The structure and the materials of the actual cauldron are very beautiful and it is located near the water in a busy area of the city. Lots of places to eat and overall a nice vibe to be around.

This site never disappoints. Looking at the Olympic Cauldron out toward the water and views of the north shore mountains.

This location pinged for the Christmas market, have been going for the last decade or more, unfortunately the kitzch and the junk is starting to infiltrate the market, losing its lustre but still gonna go

Must visit. Great experience when you visit this place during day or during night. Picturesque, unique and fresh.

Filled with the upcoming Christmas sales event, the Plaza surrounding the Olympic flame structure is currently fenced off.

Bien dommage que ce site ne soit pas à l’image de la ville de Vancouver. La flamme ne brûle pas et plusieurs pièces d’éclairage ne fonctionnent plus. Il serait temps pour la belle ville de Vancouver de corriger la situation.

I have seen the majestic cauldron many different times on social media and TV but this was my first to see it live.

It's a beautiful piece of art and do remind about the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and has become a permanent part of Vancouver's history.

Most picturesque place besides the harbour and Canada place.

Had a quick visit to see this beautiful structure. Found parking garage super close at adjacent Convention Center. Dusk was such a perfect time to go.we got to see it light up but could still see the full plaza, water, restaurants & nearby attractions. So nice, got great photos & selfies! Would definitely recommend!

The best place ever I have been there before and it still reminds me about the XXI Olympic and X Paralympic Winter Games in Vancouver 2010 when I was 4 years old.:)

Christmas Market at Olympic Cauldron was great. Great food such as bratwurst and goulash, rotassirei Chicken, hurricane potato add hot cider and other drinks

Location of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games torch & cauldron. This place was a gathering spot for 1000's of people during the games. The opening ceremonies were fantastic. Who could forget the image of Wayne Gretzky rolling in that car in the pouring rain (a Vancouver Specialty). Today a gathering site for tourists, seasonal celebrations and convention center activity.

The Christmas Market is there every year and throughout the year it has nice views along the water. I would recommend to visit this area and of course the Christmas Market.

Nice public space. The cauldron is lit once-in-a-while for special occasions. Beautiful for photographs.

It's been 8 years since the Olympics and I finally got a chance to see the Cauldron while visiting the Christmas Market. It looks just as amazing as it did back in 2010 on TV. Wish they would light it up for the Christmas season. A lot of money was spent to build it to just sit there.
