Dr. Mathur is one of the best optometrists I’ve had the experience of being tested by. He puts you at ease right off the bat and also has a really good team of people in the clinic to support you as a patient. He is very considerate and makes suggestions that fit well into your daily life. My vision has been strained because of my dry eyes and he gave me some really good tips on how to manage that issue to have optimal vision throughout the day. Vaibhav and Pooja (his staff) are also great and very patient and helpful. If you need an optometrist - look no further! You will be well taken care of at Omni.

I have worn glasses and contacts from a very young age and have seen many optometrists. Omni Eye and Vision is by far and away one of the best care I have received. Dr. Mathur and his team have taken care of my family and I for over six years. The doctors at Omni are professional, knowledgeable and patient. They always take their time and explain all options to both my children and I.

Dr. Mathur is incredible for myopia management for children. When my children first started going to Omni, they were very young and nervous about their exams but Dr. Mathur made the exams fun and engaging. He would joke with them and use fun pictures for the exams instead of the typical alphabets which they would love.

My younger child had a lazy eye and through a series of exercises and proper prescription, my child's lazy eye was completely treated. My older child's prescription was increasing rapidly due to growth spurts and Dr. Mathur recommended MiSight contact lenses as well as MiyoSmart myopia control lenses. Both have significantly helped slow down prescription changes and have improved my child's eye sight. My children's glasses were also damaged numerous times on the playground and Omni has always repaired them quickly.

I'm very happy with the service and care I have received. If you are in the Lower Mainland or Squamish (Omni has offices in both Burnaby / New West area and Squamish), I can wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Mathur and the team.

I've been going to Dr. Mathur for many years. I have been consistently impressed with the quality of care and the overall service. Many family and friends have been referred by my husband and I, and have also become regulars. I picked up glasses last week and I am loving them. Thanks!

Let's start from the beginning. Ordered contact lenses for my teen on August 23rd, 2022. Was told it would be a couple weeks, which was already strange as in the past it normally took 4-5 days, this is not a complicated prescription. I called just before school started in September, no lenses. I called one month later, no lenses. Finally on October 13th I received a call that the lenses arrived. I drove in on the 15th to pick up the lenses (one week shy of 2 months for lenses!).

When I arrived, the desk lady could not find them. Then she asked if I was sure they had arrived, I let her listen to the voice mail telling me that the lenses had arrived. She ended up calling the other lady who worked there and they eventually found the lenses.

Then the desk lady was going to process the full payment without even looking at my extended heath insurance, which they had on file. I reminder her to put it through my insurance. She fumbled around on her computer and then after awhile she said she couldn't do it and for me to just submit the claim myself. ARGGGH, why advertise that you can do direct billing if you don't train your staff on how to actually do it? I went home and filed the claim myself.

We will never come here again.

Front Desk Lady and Frames section Lady, both are Non Sense. I got prescription for lenses in April 2019 and also got spectacles from Omni Eye.
I selected frame that was fit up to my ears. But they prepared with frame which is looking very odd.

On my 2nd Visit on 17 October I reported to Dr. Mathur. He directed
Frames section Lady to adjust.

Till today they are unable to adjust my frame. I have visited 2 times after
17 October. She asks me to wait for 45 minutes after waiting she shows
her helplessness to adjust the frame.

My next appointment with doctor Mathur was fixed for April 2020.
I have got it canceled.

The best optometry clinic in all lower mainland. We recently moved out from Burnaby to Surrey yet we still travel all the way here for their great service and the fabulous doctors and employees. If any one has dry eyes We would definitely encourage them to visit these guys once. You will not regret it. Thank you very much Omni Staff for all your efforts. I could give more stars for sure

DR. FELICIA RAI is a very rude, insensitive, passive aggressive and sarcastic person. As soon as i stepped in to her office i could feel the negative attitude from her, she sounded very bossy as well, any thing i would say she would try to go over my words. As soon as i confronted her on her attitude she immediately moves to sarcasm taking me for a joke. Just another Liberal Feminist Gold Digger. All these doctors are the same they don't care about your health, as long as they can make a buck off of you for coming in the office that's all they need. AVOID THIS PERSON!

Great service if your having a problem and already a patient. Usually seen the same day. I was even able to pick out frames without my husband being there. They have also been doing a study on fibromyalgia patients.

Purchased glasses and sunglasses June 3rd got the glasses a week later and have defective lens on both sides and have to be replaced. Two weeks later I called to follow up regarding the sunglasses and the receptionist told me that she just send it to the lab. What? Two weeks later and you just send it to the lab? Then I called a week later and the receptionist said the person working was away for a holiday so its not ready yet. Sounds like you only have one person working in the entire lab. So ridiculous and now July 4th and Im still waiting for the replacement of my glasses and my sunglasses. Not coming back to this place again. Poor customer service.
