OPA! of Greece Central Park

Fries are cold and have no seasoning, wrap had a ton of lettuce, beef was so chewy and too big to even eat.

I went in today to grab a takeout lunch, and when I filled my fountain drink, I interrupted a ton of fruitflies that were hanging out in the overflow reservoir. I was so shocked at the amount of bugs that I put a lid on my drink, grabbed my food, and left. On the way to the car, I started thinking that these flies had probably been in the spout and the entire drink machine. Threw my entire meal in the garbage. If there was enough stagnant spilled pop to collect bugs and not be noticed by the staff, how bad is the rest of the store? Yuck.

Ordered takeout for my office. Ordered food for approximately 8 people. They had it all ready to go in 20 minutes. It was a very good experience.

The last time I went to this location I received a salad with aphids (bugs) in it. This was years ago so I thought I'd give it another chance. Big mistake.

The employees ignored me when I was ready to order and refused a request to change something in my order. The souvlaki was not warmed up, the potato, which is usually the best part, was old and stale, and the salad was cut with old brown lettuce.

I enjoy going to other Opa locations but this one is just BAD.

AVOID THIS LOCATION.
GO TO THE ONE IN ORCHARD PARK.

Disappointed by the food quality and customer service, keep it up, soon we won’t have an opa in kelowna.

I always get the ceaser calamari salad. This place made me fall in love with calamari, so I'll always come back here for it.

I purchased the spanakopita and it was a soggy doughy roll warmed up in the microwave. When I asked if it could be crisped up I was told no it could only be microwaved. Instead of a traditional spanakopita with a spinach and cheese filling wrapped in crisp phyllo dough it was a cinnamon bun style roll with a thin spread of spinach and twice the soggy dough. Flavourless and not at all what it should be. If this is the best they can do with a traditional Greek dish I should be taken off the menu immediately!

The okayest Opa I've ever been to.

Lots of mistakes were made with our order. I was given one single piece of potato with my platter meal, uncooked rice, the wrong salad, and 4 bites of chicken.

Spend the extra time and go to a different location.

Cheaping out on all corners: (I swear they made the plates smaller. This little plate is not worth $21. The tiny little potato was hard and old, the lamb was old and cold, the lettuce was yellow and wilting.this place needs a serious deep clean. Not worth it

Opa never fails, and this location is always on point. The staff are friendly and fast. The food is always tasty. We've never had any issues. Keep up the great work

Got the souvlaki platter to share and the chicken was cold, the potato was hard and only one for a platter meal. The rice had no flavour whatsoever. I would not recommend this place, save your money or go somewhere else.

I ordered a opa rice bowl, rice is undercooked, very dissatisfied. From 9 hours trip and expecting a warm good meal, I ended up throwing it away. Waste of money

Poor food and customer experience. Very cold food, raw potatoes and raw rice. Small portions for price. Forgot an appie which they did refund but asked us to bring the cold food back for refund. Really disappointing and proves how bad Opas really is a bad franchise.

Simply disappointed that the culture that is taking over these restaurants doesn't know how to make Greek food. It is happening all over our city. The Greek salad was mushy and flavorless, with literally no green peppers or onions to speak of. Tiniest amount of feta. It's almost like they don't care. If you're going to run a Greek restaurant then learn how to make Greek food for Gid sakes. My daughter had rice and potato that we're both cold, no flavour. Something else that I was not pleased with, went into the washroom to wash my hands and there was something else that I think is a problem with this restauran, went into the washroom to wash my hands so that I could eat my meal. No soap, when I went and told the employee that there was no soap in the washroom, he looked at me and said okay and then he never did go into the washroom and put soap in. We ate in the restaurant, so, I know this. Will not be back

I LOVE LOVE LOVE OPA! But was a little disappointed when I bit into my potato and it was raw. The potato is my favorite part!: (

We bought two chicken slovaki platters with salad. OMG add more salt to it if you want a heart attack. Bruttal not sure if i will order there again. Gees man ease up on the salt pathetic

I had the calamari it was super crunchy and cooked perfectly. Only downside it seemed a little more Salty. I’m sure it wasn’t on purpose I ate everything.

Stopped in for quick bite after shopping since the place was empty. Ordered two lamb platters but received chicken. Not sure if that was a mistake (there were no other customers in sight) or intentional but they didn't bother explain that to us. Either way, the chicken was edible however the single skewer was very small, dry, and not by any means flavourful. Basically the platters are rice plates since the rice ratio far overtakes everything else. So with that in mind, the platters are overpriced.

Edit: The district manager Peter went above and beyond to resolve the situation and I’m left feeling a lot better about it now, not many places go to the trouble to fix something like this so I’m really happy in the end!

Ordered beef, chicken, and lamb souvlaki platters. The quality of the food was very low. I’d say 3.5/10. Clearly didn’t marinate the meat properly and the cut of meat tasted cheap. All of the meat was dry. The small rice portion was laughable. And the taziki sauce was polluted with mayonnaise so it tasted strange and unpleasant. The potato wasn’t cooked fully, it was hard and dry. Also, there was a chunk of the base of lettuce (inedible part) in the salad. Definitely won’t be eating here again. Obviously this restaurant doesn’t really care about their food quality and has low standards. Better to go to real Greek restaurant.

Had ceaser salad n chicken
Lettuce was limp and nothing in the salad. Was a 4 $ meal for 15$not pleased

I ordered a greek salad at 3: 55 Nov 5, it was made in front of me with the tomatoes and cucumbers that were the last of the big bowl it was in and they were mushy and warm, not impressed at all, threw most of it in the garbage
