Had a very good experience at Hyundai. Eric Kwong was very attentive and informative. Explained features of the Santa Fe and Tucson thoroughly. During delivery, Daniel did a very good job at explaining everything in the vehicle and what everything does.

Great staff, especially grant bansie who gave me a great deal on the brand new tuscon. Great communication, after i met him in downtown. Felt like he cared and met my needs on financing. Overall great experience and would recommend a visit if in need for a new car

Absolutely terrible customer service at OpenRoad Hyundai Richmond.

My husband and I did some research on the Ioniq 5 online (just like most people do nowadays) back in 2022 trying to understand the car. We then scheduled for a test drive a few days after.

As we walked in in February 2022, this sales guy Quentin told us our appointment was not shown on their system. We then followed up with some questions about the car and the estimated delivery date. ALL of his answers were “I do not know”. I understand he might not have the information of the delivery date as the logistics was uncertain in 2022. However, when we asked him about the details of the car itself, he told me he does not know.

As he does not have the answers that we asked for (and you can tell he did not even try) and we really like the car, so we went to a different sales guy, Eric Kwong. Eric tried his best to answer at his best ability, so we paid the deposit and ordered the car through Eric.

Fast forward 20 months later, my husband and I were shopping for another family car, we walked into OpenRoad Hyundai Richmond to see if there was any used car and to get an update of the car we ordered in February 2022. Surprisingly, the person who does not know anything about Hyundai is still working there! Quentin was the first guy we saw at the dealership. He was pretty annoyed as we walked in 50 mins before their shop closed. We asked if Eric is working today and Quentin told us he just left. Then we tried to ask Quentin if he has any idea about the delivery date, like when was the last delivery and when did that person order? Of course, his answer was “I don’t know”.

Instead of saying Quentin is not knowledgeable, I would say he is not professional and unwilling to help. We went to different car dealers in the area, NONE of the sales guy acts like Quentin.

We visited the dealership 3 times since 2022, first time to test drive/ order the car, second time to ask for an update, third time to arrange payment as the car was delivered. In the first two visits, no one ever welcomed us as we walked in, and the sales guys were just chatting to each other. My guess for this was they do not have inventory and do not want to make any sales, or this dealership is just unprofessional overall.

Note: if you want to order a car from Hyundai, study before you go, no one is there to help other than helping you to make the transaction. Would not recommend this place at all.

Wanted to ask about the new 2024 Santa Fe and look at options for my next purchase. I walked around show room for 5 minutes, then stood at the unmanned reception until I got bored and left. There were staff sitting around looking at me but no one offered to help. Made me feel extremely unwelcomed.

I just got my brand new venue here, it was by far the best experience after visiting multiple dealerships. Alot of other dealers tried to push me into an used car due to my budget even though I specifically asked for a brand new vehicle. Jacky and the sales manager listened to my needs, found a car within my budget and were not pushy at all! 10/10 experience will refer all my family and friends here for their future vehicle needs!

Jacky was fantastic, even though I wasn't ready for an EV vehicle yet, he still took the time to explain the features, pricing and ETA of their offerings. Once I am ready to take the leap, I will defintely come back to order my EV here!

I must express my profound satisfaction with the car service provided by Matt and his team. Despite not being a Hyundai owner, having opted for a Tesla prior to Hyundai's electric vehicles, the level of excellence in service experienced was truly unparalleled. The consistent, exceptional service rendered by this team has left a lasting impression, to the extent that I would seriously contemplate acquiring a Hyundai solely based on the merit of their service.

Most awful experience ever! Never wate your time here because they provide the lowest customer service, the guy named Mark was know nothing about the cars he was showing me, or maybe he was too tired and frustrated to answer my questions! He was rude, too. Imagin, it's carazy! The cars were in the worst condition, they had not washed the cars either and the car he showed me was full of dust and mud. The pricing was also crazy! Never visit this dealer, especially if you are not chinese
