The optical techs were very professional and efficient in the initial eye screening. Melanie understood my sight problem quite quickly and hopefully has come up with a better prescription. I will find out once I receive the new lenses in a few weeks.

Had a good time here. Relatively inexspensive accessment. But designer glasses! Be aware of the price.

Honestly, this is the best optometrist office I've been to. In the past, I didn't know why it cost $110 for the optometrist to tell me my eyes have gotten worse or better. Dr. Chiu is so incredibly thorough and helped me to understand my dry eyes (talking about tears vs.oil glands) in addition to giving me specifics on risks of laser eye surgery - wouldn't have done it without him! So yes.worth every penny.optometrists are incredibly knowledgeable.

This was my first visit and upon walking in, I was so impressed with the Eye Care clinic itself, the professional manner of all of the staff and their promptness as well (I only waited about 5 minutes!). I have never seen such state of the art equipment and Dr. Chiu was so thorough, explaining everything concerning my eyes. I can’t say enough about this clinic.

A Practice Rejuvenated! I have been a patient of this clinic since moving to the North Shore 20 years ago. And to be honest the service and organization had been declining to the point where we were looking for a new Optometrist. Fortunately, for the current staff, I had a bit of an eye glasses emergency and they blew me away. I was able to get in for an appointment that day to update my prescription (Dr Melanie was fantastic), they were able to help me pick out new frames and get me temporary lenses immediately following my appointment, staying well past closing time and had them swapped out with permanent lenses two days later. To me this is the definition of 5 star service!

They have the best machines and show how passionate they really are about making sure my eyes are super healthy. Very thorough and deligent. I have seen many many doctors and I haven't felt more cared for than here.

The husband and I have been seeing Dr Bowden for years. The service from the entire team has always been friendly and professional. The clinic is welcoming, clean and equipped with the latest technology. I am glad to have connected with Dr Chiu who addressed my dry eye issue that needed help for the longest time and is very happy with the drastic improvements. I have been going to Optomeyes for almost 10 years, seeing three different optometrists over that time. All of the staff here have been very good. Eye exams are thorough and carefully explained. I feel that my eye health is the priority when I go here, which is what I want from an eye doctor.

There is no hard sell on buying new glasses. If you do buy new glasses here you will pay top dollar but they will be good quality.

Repairs can be done to 'get you by' in an emergency but may be more functional than pretty. There are other places to go for more cost effective repair service.

For the first time during the pandemic (even after having surgery with very little to no follow up in another province) I feel I had proper care and attention at a medical facility! My 98 year old mother lost her glasses, so we contacted Optomeyes Eye Care, where she got her last pair. We were extremely pleased by the prompt, courteous and efficient service we received, particularly from the technician Ashley, who personally attended on my mother at her care home and made her feel very special in picking out a new frame. The glasses were delivered in a handsome package that included chocolates for each of us, and Ashley also followed up later by text to ensure that everything was fine.
