The staff has always been friendly and they have a good selection of art supplies. I always coming out with more than I planned. This place is my go to art store in the greater Vancouver area 10/10

I took my wife here as she’s enjoying her new artistic journey. This place is phenomenal! Something about it is very magical, whether be it the staff or the ambiance, that takes the inner artist out and reveal what you can do.

It has a variety of art supplies available for drawing, painting, etc. If you love creativity and looking for a one-stop shop, then Opus is the place.

Not as well stocked as their main store, but if they don't have what you need, they can order it in for you!

Always enjoy my visits. Super friendly, knowledgeable staff that are available for questions but don't crowd you. They don't always have exactly what I'm looking for in stock but it is always worth a look!

I came the other day, this store is like Narnia, a whole world of art supplies in what appears to be a small store. Chris was a huge help in helping me understand the purpose + usefulness of different mediums, gacs, gessos, etc, as well as thoroughly explained the paintbrushes that they carried, their differences, and of course their uses. I left feeling like I leveled up my painting game with some stunning brushes + gesso + etc in hand. Will definitely be back again!

Along with an amazing selection opus has top notch customer service. The sales reps/assistants are artists themselves and often offer an informed encyclopedic like advice on their products. So happy to have this location in Coquitlam!

Fantastic selection but the staff blew me away.

Every single staff member I encountered was lovely. They are all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

They went above and beyond for us.

We only went there to pick up frames and they ended up framing 2 of our photos for us and teaching us how to do it.

I will definitely go back.

One of the best art supplies stores in the lower mainland. Prices are out of control right now, but that is everywhere I guess. Helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. What more can you ask for. Except for lower prices. ‍

The staff here are super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. When I had an issue with some prints, they went above and beyond to resolve it. I really appreciate the effort they made come to a conclusion everyone was happy with. This team is super great, and I look forward to the next time I'm in the store.

Huge choice for arts and painters. I went for an airbrush hose and the ladies were extra helpful and took on their time to check the stock and possible online availability for me.
Highly recommend you go there for any need related to arts and painting (even sculpting tools and more)

Happy to have this Tri-City location. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and before covid always had some some sort of demo to improve your skill. Hired local artists with the expertise to teach the demos was the icing on the cake.

Covid-19 Pandemic Review // Very pleased! I cancelled my order with Deseres, since it was placed over 3 weeks ago and not fulfilled and customer service was impossible to get through to. Opus staff promptly fulfilled my order and called me with the pickup date within a couple days. Very very happy with the customer experience.

They offer free or low priced art classes that are amazing. Once you finish the class you can receive 10 percent discount from your purchases. Anything you could possibly need is here and the staff are there to inspire and encourage your efforts.

Great staff. I am recently getting into painting and was buying my suplies the staff really took the time and explained everything and what would be better for me.

It was so orginized, you can find what you looking for. Staff was very helpful and that day we were there they had two demo classes. I loved the store

Pretty good store. Very nice staff who are always looking to help you if you need it but also aren't pushy.

Fountain Pen Ink in Black. Simple enough request, I thought. Turns out they only sell a colour pack.all manners of colour most I could never sign a legal document with. Was desperate so I grabbed the 10 pack, of which I will probably only be able to use 3 of the colors.oh well. Counter person was very helpful. Ample parking behind the art store. They lost a star only because they didnt have a five pack of blue or black ink.

This is my go to place for art supplies. The staff is very knowledgeable and always helpful. This is a great location for the Tri-Cities. Can you please, please open a location in Nanaimo or Qualicum Beach. Since I've moved to the Island I really miss the availability of supplies and great prices and sales.

Great art store with all the things you need to get started. Extremely helpful staff that are more than willing to help out with any questions you have.

I love Opus! My absolute fav art store and has been for the many many years I've shopped there! The selection of art materials are great but what I find even more fantastic are the extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. They really go the extra mile to help their customers. During my recent visits I was met with two big friendly smiles from Lynne and Gio. Lynne was really attentive and so very helpful with her wide knowledge of art supplies. I came in wanting to get some watercolor painting supplies and she was able to steer me in the right direction to get some great materials. She gave me such wonderful individual service.which is something I always see in the Opus stores. The Granville Island store is also fantastic and has an even bigger selection than the Coquitlam store. But I love my local Coquitlam store and go there for all of my art needs.

The service is truly excellent, and you can tell that the workers enjoy their jobs. They also have free artist classes, project sheets, brand booklets and great sales and discounts. Art supplies are expensive, but its better to shop here imo.

Great customer service, knowledgable staff who understand those starting out can't always afford the expensive stuff!
