Orca Spirit Adventures Whale Watching

We rode with Captain Mick in a zodiac
vessel. He was a great guide. Saw a few humpbacks and a lot of beautiful wildlife.

I don’t have enough great things to say about Orca Spirit Adventures. Booking was incredibly simple. Mic was a fabulous captain and extremely knowledgeable, not to mention funny and jovial. We saw humpback whales, seals, sea lions, eagles, and more. The zodiac boat was great for my husband and me. We loved being at site level and in the open. The suits provided were warm and shielded well from the wind and cold. 12/10 would book again.

We L. O. V. E. D.our Orca Spirit Adventure! The rain was falling lightly on the morning of our tour.and we were hesitant to go. But the lovely woman at the desk reassured us by showing us the flotation suits we'd be wearing. Like a huge snowmobile suit! So we decided to JUST DO IT, and we're so glad we did. Our skipper, Nick, handled the Zodiac skillfully! It was easy to trust his navigational skills. He explained how we didn't get too close to the whales for proper animal tourism ethics and Canadian law. We saw a huge male Orca and followed him as he hunted the shoreline. Then we went to see two different groups of humpbacks. Of course there were Harbor seals and sealants to see as well. Nick is a fantastic educator and naturalist guide. The equipment was top notch and I felt safe the whole time. Even on our crazy Zodiac ride on the way back to Port.we got great video of the wild ride! Thanks, Orca Spirits Team! We would definitely do it again rain or shine.

We had a great 3 hour experience on the open zodiac boat with the best skipper ever. Mick is an amazing person, super kind and friendly, funny and so energizing. He has so much knowledge about the whales and the other wildlife we could see during our trip eg.see lions, eagles etc. We would definitely recommend the tour and, again, had the greatest time thanks to Mick!

We had a great trip with Orca Spirit. The rib boat was comfortable, and felt safe, and we were given plenty of information by our captain. We were lucky to see about 3 or 4 different humpback whales, including a mother and calf, and one whale quite close to our boat. Prior to the trip we were contacted by Orca Spirit to change the time of our booking - they were very helpful with this, and quick to respond to phone calls and emails.

Brilliant excursion - Shane was excellent. So knowledgeable about the whales and the local environment but also really cautious and sympathetic around the animals. We saw plenty of orca, humpbacks and sealions.
The suit kept me warm & dry but I had 3 layers underneath too, so wrap up!

It was a misty, rainy day but Orca Spirit and their amazing staff ensured that we had the best afternoon! We saw Orcas and Humpback Whales during our tour, as well as sea lions and seals. It was incredible to see these animals in their natural habitat. Since it was cold, they served hot coffee to keep us warm. It was a fantasic day and I highly recommend this company. We were on a cruise and they ensured that we got back to our ship on time by droping us off right at the cruise shp terminal! Above and beyond service.

Wonderful trip! The boat is comfortable with plenty of room for everyone to get their shots. The crew was fun and informative and as promised, we saw lots of beautiful whales and sea life!

Absolutely amazing experience! A pod of three orcas swam up close to us, then we watched a pod of 12 orcas! Also saw three humpback whales. Breathtaking, would highly recommend!

I recently had the incredible opportunity to go whale watching with the Orca Spirit Whale Watching Company, and it was an unforgettable experience. Captain Sean, our guide for the day, was truly exceptional. His deep knowledge of the marine ecosystem and whales added a fascinating layer to the journey. His ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner was remarkable. He made sure everyone on board understood the importance of the marine ecosystem and the incredible creatures we were about to encounter. We were incredibly lucky during our trip. Not only did we spot Orca pods, but we also had the privilege of witnessing humpback whales and playful sea lions in their natural habitat. It was a dream come true for anyone passionate about marine life, this trip an educational and awe-inspiring experience.
