Orca Spirit Adventures Whale Watching

Super expérience avec Megan et Derek en naturalistes pour commenter le tour (sans oublier les deux pilotes).
Petit bateau, sensations garanties sur l'eau et proximité avec les animaux observés, photos, café, tout est fait pour passer un bon moment. Bien sûr, la nature c'est la nature alors on n'est pas sûr de voir tous les animaux qu'on voudrait, c'est ainsi.
La compagnie se veut très responsable: participation à des associations sur le prix du billet, compensation des émissions de CO2, ce sont de belles initiatives qui vont au-delà de la simple exploitation touristique et c'est appréciable.

Brilliant tour with great guides and we also saw some whales. Part of the proceeds from the tickets go to nature conservation and species conservation organizations. Really recommended.

My husband and I had a great experience during our excursion! We saw a lot of whales and wildlife. Olivia was one of our guides. Her love and passion for the whales was amazing to see, making the experience even more enjoyable.

What a trip! Captain Brad, Megan and Jordan where super insightful on everything native to the waters around Victoria. They even pulled up the history of the pod of orcas we saw!

Went in mid-September and had large waves and strong wind for portions of the passage. BUT THIS WAS THE BEST PART. It was better than an amusement park "raft ride". The boat doesn't really rock but more bounces (up and down) through the waves, coming down with a refreshing SPLASH! We had warm floatation suites to keep us relatively dry. Oh and we saw Orcas. 10 of 10 would go again.

Awesome experience! Saw 3 pods of Orca whales. The crew was friendly and knowledgeable. They also use some of the proceeds for charity to protect marine life. Thank you Griffin and Captain Brad for an amazing experience!

Fantastic trip, we saw sea lions, three whales hunting, and sea otters (back at marina). The staff are really enthusiastic and give you plenty of warning when the boat is approaching wildlife. Take binoculars, a camera and water! Drinks/ snacks sold on board.

We saw 4 humpbacks and 6 orcas while learning lots about the conservation of the ocean and species along the way (btw we love megan and derek)!

We were booked to go with another company but they had to cancel unfortunately, so we selected this company. The lady on the phone was incredible to deal with and the staff on the boat were fantastic. The entire experience was absolutely incredible until we got home.

We purchased some items from the gift shop and when we arrived back home in Edmonton one of the items was broken. This was not damaged from being in our luggage. I called the office and the manager Rachel said the only thing I could do was come to their office to exchange the item. I explained that I was in another province, and was not going to be in Victoria again for the next 6 months. She said well that’s all I can do for you. We only do exchanges in person.

While I do understand that, all I was asking for was to see what they could do and maybe some acknowledgement of the fact that their item was defective. I even offered to send a picture to show that this was not damage from being in the luggage. Had she maybe acknowledged and said she was sorry that my item was damaged and wished she could help. I wouldn’t be writing this review. But her response was “well we don’t ship anything and there’s nothing I can do to help you unless you come into the store”.

Check your items fully before you leave the store because once you get home, there is nothing that anyone will do to help you if it’s damaged or faulty. There is no after customer service.

Our family had an amazing trip with Orca led by Olivia and Ryan, we saw Orcas playing in the sea and some seals. Would highly recommend, great hosts and guides.

The boat was perfect and you can see all around you. We got lucky seeing lots of wildlife including orcas and humpback whales. The staff were very helpful and very informative about the wildlife. We had Derek who was excellent and very friendly. Would recommend this company for whale watching.

We had a great time on our whale watching tour. Jake and Jordan were gracious, knowledge, and informative. We saw whales, sea lions, seals, birds, etc. A must- do if you’re in Victoria!

We had an absolutely terrific time. The 3 hour tour just flew by. We saw orcas, humpback whales, two types of sea lions and lots of birds. Our guide Meaghan was fantastic. She was very passionate and knowledgeable. Her facts and observations were a delight to listen to. Also, Liam from the office was superb in answering all of our questions and getting us on the right boat. I would happily recommend the experience to anyone coming to Victoria.

Wonderful just being on the water. Always something to see. Seals, orcas and whales. Friendly and knowledgeable crew. Free coffee but dress warm.

My husband and I had an amazing time spending our weekend looking out for whales and sea lions! The crews were so knowledgeable on when the whales are going to come out!
