Original Joe's

Typical chain pub atmosphere with smaller menu meal.

Went for birthday dinner. If you thinking of going on birthdays they give NOTHING as: (no discount on meal, no free drink, no free dessert.) This is a NICE touch when the restaurant will do this.

When we arrive the bartender acknowledged us right away and told us to sit anywhere.

Our server was friendly and helpful with the menu she was notified about the part member it was their birthday and show ID to prove.

Notice that the chain has drastically change the menu and downsize. I can understand they take out items that doesn’t sell or cost. BUT WHY NOT ADD NEW ITEMS and try the clinical trial and see if the client will buy into the new items. (SEE UPDATED MENU my picture)!

Now I do understand the owner bought into a chain so they can’t add without headquarters permission or the headquarters add it in. This is the truly bad and good with buying into a chain (restaurants/bar). But seriously though if I was the owner I be fixing the loss revenue and working with the headquarters!

Our meal came out as it should with speediness. The appetizer was great (tempura shrimp)

The food for the main meal was beef dip and jack Daniel burger The burger lacked flavour but condiments helped. The fries were good just smaller portions. Beef dip was fine typically of what to be expected. The rice found a bit dry but still okay. The side salad was great with (fruit nuts and goat cheese)!

Decided on two “19 age drinks” the the patio Joe is like a peach slushy really good! And the other just don’t remember the name on the menu (three star sour mash, I think?) it a sour bourbon drink very smooth and sour with the kick of the bourbon.

Always love the food. Service was great. This location gets a bit "aromatic" when the windows are open and farmers are fertilizing! Not a great scent when you're trying to enjoy a meal

Menu was interesting, food was good, service was fast, no hesitation if any question about the meal, and pleasant atmosphere.

Went here for my daughter's birthday dinner. Never been to an original Joe's before. Great service and food! We will go again!

Food was delicious, staff was lovely, but the place was very chilly inside which made it unpleasant. I was with my elderly aunt but I see it is a place for young people so we will not be back. But I would if I was younger!

We were in at Original joes in chilliwack this evening.

Worst service ever, we waited for someone to take our order they came after 10 minutes and we waited to get water for 30 minutes of entering the restaurant. Esp when the restaurant was practically empty.

Place did not seem busy and a nice idea to take my wife and three kids for lunch.
Don’t bother coming here if you want a quick in and out…. Time is not on your side here. Sat down at 12: 06pm and our food arrived after 1: 10pm.
No offer for drink refills until they finally decided to clear plates.

Food was subpar for the price, glad I used a gift card cause I’d be upset if I had to pay for this…

When the food finally arrived it was bland, Luke warm. I had a beef dip, the meat was rubber and cold.

The only quick service we received was when they wanted money…. Have a nice day.

Pick a different place than this!

Very disappointing visit yesterday.
Three people and one only had warm soup and cold mashed potatoes.
With a tip that was not deserved but we did not know who to blame cause the waitress was nice.
The food took about 40 minutes to get us and to top it off it was cold.
We both had the beef dip sandwich. She brings out our drinks almost immediately.
Then the beef dip for the sandwiches exactly 30 min later.
Then the sandwiches 10 min later.
Good thing the sandwiches were cold because it paired well with the cold sandwiches.
We will Never step foot in there again.

My spouse and I love this place, the food is always on point and the service is always wonderful. Now our 2 young kids are hooked! My one very picky eater loves their Mediterranean wrap and my other son has tried so many things and has loved everything. They are always asking to go here, highly recommend!

Steak sandwich was good. And the chicken teriyaki bowl.
Also the chicken and veggies gyoza. I found the sauce with gyoza spicy.
Ladies you have to try the raspberry burst.

Great service, clean and accesible washroom, flavourful food with good portions! Appreciated the details like the local fire dept.wall plaque and the little water decanter for the table! Good music ambience and they had sports tvs for those interested but not an invasive volume for those who werent.:)

Waited on the phone on hold for way too long I'm pretty sure they forgot I was there.

Typical pub/sports bar atmosphere. Had the haddock burger with Ceasar salad and mashed potatoes and it was about as good as could be. Great service too.

Our food was delicious and our server delightful although expect it to take some time, this is not a rushed dinner
