Original Joe's

Original joes has become a regular favourite spot for me and my friends in the city,
We are always greeted with such a friendly welcoming from the start.
The food is delicious and it’s a great bar to watch sport or to just relax and have a drink / food.
The bartender Emily is amazing, she’s so friendly and she will always go above and beyond to make sure we are looked after, it all makes our visits that much better,
Will definitely be returning!

Table chairs very uncomfortable
Food- Ceasar salad was very vinegary not recommended coleslaw had no flavor
The beef dip was a great size and lots of flavor
Portion sizes were great
Server never once came to check in / offer drink refills
Honestly we were not pleased with this experience

Food was pretty good but took long to arrive. I wanted to ask for extra sauce but it server did not come back to see how everything was, and basically we didn't see her until our meal was largely done.

Food was not worth the price. Hubbys fish tacos (which was the special) were burnt. One taco the fish was burnt the other the soft shell was burnt. I got nachos that had hardly any cheese, and the chips were soggy to the point that i couldn't get the salsa on the chip. But the worst part was i ordered 1 of the 3 Cesars from the menu and was told there was no clamato juice so i had to order something else even though there was a convenients store across the street. My hubby was tempted to go across the street for some clamato. They took the tacos off the bill but still paid over 50 bucks.we travel to Vancouver a lot and won't go back there again.

Service slow to absent. Had to track down an employee while waiting at door. Only to be told 20 to 30 min wait. Noone manning the entrance.

Tried poutine for the first time (called as such, not my first time eating french fries with gravy on them), topped with BBQ brisket and it was fabulous. Rounded out the meal with some of their wings; good tasting sauces, cooked crispy as requested, but wings were on the small side. Atmosphere was good, wait was only a few minutes, and beer was cold.

They used to have my fav fries in the world. Dunno why they stopped their original seasoning on them, it was the best. Rest of the food is good though.

We recently took a visit to Vancouver and stayed at the Hilton a few blocks away and gave Joes a try one night. I would recommend Joes based on the very good food and portion size. Our wait time for a table was not bad, the restaurant seems like a sports bar with a private flair. Order the wings, my fish sandwich was huge, we also had a steak sandwich, see photos.
Give Joes a try you can’t go wrong on price, quality and value.

Down the street from where my friends and I are staying. We have eaten here three times so far and will likely be back a time or two more times before our trip ends. Staff is lovely and spot on with their recommendations of food and drink (Okanagan Cider 10/10) and possible places to visit while we're in town as our cruise unexpectedly cancelled and trip became an impromptu Vancouver one. Great place to relax end of day and enjoy the vibes if you aren't in a hurry to be anywhere else:)

We picked up our food from there and brought it back to the Hotel. The lasagna was very good. A little disappointed in the garlic bread that came with it. It was thin and hard crust but went okay with the sauce from the lasagna.

Busy event night meant a bit of a wait, but was expected. We had Justice as a server and she was awesome! Acknowledged our longer wait and gave us the option to order food asap. Checked on us a couple times despite being super busy, she had a less then understanding table near us who were rude to her…she took it in stride and kept being awesome! Despite it being super busy Justice grabbed empty plates within moments of us moving them to the side.
Food was also great and quick to come out! Don’t be discouraged by the long line on an event night…it is worth the wait.

Ordered fish and CHIPS. Got the saddest amount of McCain barely cooked fries I've ever seen. Seriously?

Absolutely terrible choice for lunch or dinner. We had four different entrees none of which were any good. Fries are a soggy mess something called roast beef Yorkies is an absolute joke. Anybody who thinks this is a good place to eat has never been in any kind of good place to eat. Save your money everything's way overpriced Go anywhere else.

What a disaster I should have got the hint at the door from the overpowering stench of urine and all the garbage around it. Service was probably the worst I ever experienced. Extremely slow. I ordered the burger and fries, which was cold when I got it served to me. I’m not sure it is the kitchen or the slow server that caused that but either way it shouldn’t be the way.

Horrible service. We ordered our drinks and waited over 30 minutes just to receive those, and then our waitress didn’t take our order for another 20 minutes. Meanwhile, other guests arrived after us and were served and finished before we even received our meal. Our food was bland and lukewarm as well. Along with the rude attitudes from each of the waitresses and hosts, I definitely do not recommend dining here

Just looking for a quick bite with the family in Vancouver. The food was quite salty. The service was adequate, but not at all warm. It seems like one of those places where the servers are on guard against the fingers, because the diners get rowdy or inappropriate. The music was very loud. I quickly wished we had gone to Chipotle instead but people were getting hangry.

Worth going here for a beer and wings before the game at BC Place!

They could have added a few more wings for the price we paid. Tasted good but you want to take a dent out of your hunger if you lay down $20 for a plate of food.

I give a good rating because everything was perfect, but the staff should know that they should not tell the customer that I will bring your bill until the customer asks for the bill.

Had an excellent experience at the bar tonight. Our bartender Justice had a spicy attitude and made an excellent gin martini. Her service was very hospitable and the chiken wings I ordered came out hot and were delicious. Will deffentely come back.
