Orkin Canada Pest Control

I appreciated Orkin’s help today. Previous pest control company told me just leave all the dead rats/mice and their disgusting feces in, my crawl space, told me no health problem. I researched, it is a health problem. Orkin vacuumed my crawl space, removed a few dead rats and cleaned up. Orkin is 3rd pest company I have dealt with and I definitely recommend them. Technician very polite, helpful.

Phil, the Pest Control Specialist was thorough in explaining the problem and proposed solution and in execution. Would recommend Orkin to anyone having to deal with mice and rodents.

Dimitri was an absolute star! My car had been sitting in my driveway for a few months and started attracting wasps. Turns out there were three wasp nests throughout the car.in the door jam and trunk. Dimitri handled everything so professionally and didn't make me feel like I was silly for being afraid. Five stars!

Only did a consultation as no major issues were identified but the session was very informative. Staff were great to work with, really appreciated their recommendations and professionalism.

Great service, which has immensely helped eliminate a rodent problem around the outside of house. Added to that service are the Technicians who are always very professional, informative and always arrive on time.

I called Orkin this morning to exterminate a wasps nest in my back yard. They made time in their schedule today to make it happen. My technician came late morning. He was fantastic! I would recommend Orkin without hesitation.

We had a rat in the house so we called Orkin to come to help. The reception Frances was very helpful, trying to get technician to come to help and luckily, technician Laine was nearby. He came in 30 minutes after and helped us catch the rat right on the spot (the rat was locked in our bathroom). Thanks so much for their help!

This is really a disgusting company. Their Customer service contact centre is really poor. They booked my appointment and on the day of appointment they said appointment is not booked. This is really unprofessional

Mark came and set us up with a plan that will help us get rid of our pest problem. Moreover though, he gave us some education and clued us in to things to watch out for and also gave us a realistic expectation of what is to come. I'm glad he and Orkin has our back in this regard.

Rommel was super nice and responsive:) He works with our strata and so when I was in need of pest control I texted him and got him to come check on the next morning! He helped me check about rats, spiders and bugs. The work was done thoroughly. (He also suggested me to be brave and conquer my fear)

Called late in the afternoon about getting rid of a wasp nest and they came out early the next morning. Very professional and the treatment worked completely - no more wasps.

Extremly impressed with the thoroughness, professionalism, and commuication with Sanjesh at the Burnaby location. This is my mom's house and she has dementia plus I live out of province, and everything was handled so efficiently and kindly. I highly recommend.

We hired Orkin for 2 issues. 1 was safe raccoon removal and one was treatment for rodents. The person we were assigned rescheduled on us 8 out of 10 times he was supposed to come, each time with a different excuse. They told us they would bring 4 raccoon traps and only brought 2. They collected the money upfront and were responsive for the first month, but after that completely ghosted us and never completed the service they had committed to. I called and texted our pest technician multiple times to no answer. I called the main line 3 times to speak to a manager and each time "one isn't available but i'll be sure to have someone call you back" was the response and there was never a call back. I would put this operation at borderline fraud.unless you are desperate and need something that can be resolved in one visit I would stay far away from Orkin.

Orkin, responded, set up time, came in on time, got rid of the bees, cleaned up and waved goodbye. All done in a fast and professional manner. Thank you Orkin!

The technician who come to our site, Ken, is great! He's professional, thorough, and helps educate us on how to avoid future issues. We're a non-profit running social programs and services for the community, so it's also nice to get a friendly technician.

My workplace uses Orkin to manage a mouse problem and they were able to help and rectify the problem. They have been very accommodating with our choice of services as I was personally against some of the methods (ie: glue traps). One tech.in particular, Rommel has been very helpful, friendly and educational. He was able to work with me to find solutions that I was comfortable with while addressing the issue. This was much appreciated.

Our company has changed the email address since earlier last year from yahoo to gmail. We sent a several times email and called them to update the email adress. Their staffs said everything is updated, however, we keep receiving the invoce in the old email address for one year. We called them to deal with the issue. They said they updated the email address already and they have a bad attitude by the phone. We have consider to change the company. Because they don't care about client's problem. Ok, let say we believe they already update the email address completely, but the issue is going on. They should try to figur out and give a answer to client instead just said to everything is ok, but the mistake is continue to happen.
Your company's systmen keeps sending the invoices to our old email address, and you tell us nothing you can do. It causes that we miss or delay your payments. What should we do for you? And Should we fix the problem from your system? It is terrible service!

Elaine from Orkin was recommended from a friend of ours.elaine responded fairly quickly. We were afraid that we won’t get any answers till next week as we have called other companies stating that it’s the end of the month and tech are busy and the earliest time they can have either next week or first week of next month.when Elaine came she immediately ask what are concerns we have and explained what it was and helped us understand the infestation and habits of these bugs. Highly recommend.

I have used Orkin several years back and really loved the service they provided! This time when I called they explained that several technicians have quit recently and that they are abnormally busy. They booked me in for a week later, but then rescheduled the day before they were supposed to arrive. The second time they scheduled me in they just didn’t show up and no one called me about it. I spoke to someone once that day who said they’d call me back. I then phoned them four hours later and no one answered my call twice over the next 30 min. My husband was able to get through using a different phone number, and they rescheduled our appointment with him. The third time they didn’t show up or call. And today when I called them they said there was a fourth visit scheduled for this morning (8 days after our first appointment was booked for) that I didn’t even know about. Luckily I had called in to check and was able to be informed. Since then, no one has showed up and although I asked them to give me a quick call back if it wasn’t going to happen, no one has called. Really unnerving service from a company that has my credit card information on file.

I was willing to be flexible, and all I asked for was they they keep me in the loop. Really disappointed with how this has all been handled.

Anthony is the best employee they have he is very nice and his work ethic are #1 very hard worker and he does his job very well. You will not be disappointed in their services.

I had Nickey from Orkin here today. I live in a high rise condo building downtown and had ants on my patio.
The strata called for Orkin to come out. No one ever called me to make an appointment. Nickey just showed up. My patio is off of my Living room and dining room. I have beautiful hardwood floors and Nickey did not bother to remove his big black shoes.
He sprayed my patio and then walked back through my condo with his shoes wet with chemicals.
I have two little dogs and literally had to wash my floors on my hands and knees to remove the wet chemicals from the floors.
I think these people should be more considerate. I have had many workers in my condo and they usually have booties to put over there shoes and also, they always ask if they should remove their shoes.
I was not impressed with this service today!

Untrustworthy. So I see they respond to every review so I can’t wait to hear what they have to say about this (EDIT: they have the same reply for negative reviews). Booked an appointment today no show with no heads up (not a call/text/email nothing). We wasted our day waiting for them. I understand pest control is not the prettiest business but believe me when I say this the person we spoke to were not apologetic.in fact they made it sound like this was just business (happens all the time with them). They go where the money is. Why go to an appointment that is small and insignificant when another job shows up and can potentially pay more. They do this all the time.read the other reviews this has happened before. Lets just say, I know I’m not going to be compensated for my time lost so to whoever is reading this: Please just stay away from this business.

We use Orkin to handle all forms of pest control maintenance and we have found their technicians to be knowledgeable, hardworking, thorough and committed to finding solutions. I want to give a specific shout out to our regular technician Matthew who is not only friendly, but incredibly proactive and considerate. We are very happy with their services.

Lyndsey and Tetris are a fabulous team! Our issue was an enormous exposure coupled with hoarding. With Lyndsey’s experience, and professionalism and the expertise of Tetris our issue is under control. We look forward to our ongoing visits and their excellent work ethic.
