Ottavio Italian Bakery & Delicatessen Cafe

I wish we had an Ottavio in the neighborhood where we live. This was a great find the last day of our holiday. If we had found it sooner we would gave stocked up on charcuterie items. Awesome selection of cheese and meats. We enjoyed a coffee and pain de chocolate

It had been years since I had visited Ottavio’s. The young man who assisted me in choosing some cheese was so knowledgeable and friendly. It was a great experience and I will return soon. Thank you!

Great location and beautiful patio seating area. Ordering food is a little difficult cause the staff seem to have trouble with the ordering computers, so expect to wait to place an order and then wait again to get your order. The gelato is very good, the baked goods are just okay and are expensive.

Had the ice cream only, the pistachio flavour was very well done.

Cute little shop and restaurant that seemed to have a lot of Italian food and goods.

Good selection of Italian deli products and an on-site bakery make this a decent stop when in Oak Bay.
Ottavio also has a small but sunny patio in front of the shop.
Tasty baked goods.
Handicap challenging because of stairs and tight spaces inside the store.
Restrooms available.
