Beautiful hidden gem and wonderful story. This place feels extremely spiritual and I always feel like it heals me. Gorgeous place for nature and all its creatures.

Great hidden gem. Never would expect the little secret garden. Off leash for dogs as well. Limited parking is the only drawback

Went to Opera in the Park. Amazing park and performers. Well done for offering this free, fun and educational outing!

An eclectic park that you can tell wasn't originally designed to a boring municipal standard.

Beautiful little hidden spot, ideal for a nice walk in nature, near to the city but I doesn't feel like it's in the city

A nice little stroll through a beautiful setting. Parking is extremely limited, and especially challenging if people park poorly.

Gravel paths meander through 9 acres of woodland. Wide variety of plants and trees including a rock fountain and a pond. Limited parking off Royal Oak Dr.

Beautiful local park nestled in between Royal Oak drive and Blenkinsop road. Hidden from the road though.

Well kept, nice variety of flowering plants. Great cut through to get to Mt. Doug.

Also has a nice accessible parking lot off of Royal Oak Drive with quite a few spots.

Beautiful little park between Royal Oak Dr and Blenkinsop Rd, with a meeting place, waterfall, pond, bamboo, lots of rhodos - it will be lovely in the Spring! On weekends you can park in the school parking lot just down the road at Lochside Trail or bike over from the trail. There are a few spaces to park at the entrance off Royal Oak.

Small park. About a five- ten minutes to walk through the entire site. Very pretty with the pond. Parking can be tight at school pickups.

This small urban park is a former private garden, now a public park. As such, it is not a place to find native plants, though there are lots of flowers. A series of linked ponds are reached by a network of easy level paths, suitable for the mobility impaired. Benches are available in several spots. A small number of parking stalls are available off Royal Oak Drive. A nice place for a (relatively) quiet walk.

A fantastic little oasis that has been kept maintained for our use thanks to the donor. There is a duck pond and lots of little trails to explore and the flowers and trees are absolutely gorgeous. The only issue to visiting this park is that there is very little parking here so you have to enter the gardens by foot. So if you live close by it is great, otherwise you may have to park somewhere and walk to it.
