Poor customer service. Lady on counter was so rude (owner of the store). Highly not recommended.

5 stars is not enough. This family run business is exceptional. They go above and beyond in making you feel welcome in their store. Friendliness, service, and their helpfulness is paramount. Selection and prices are fantastic. I was looking for a specific material and G was on it to see if he could get it. To my delight he kept in contact and within days had it in. It is rare to find a business that exceeds all levels of what satisfies a customer but Overseas knows how to do it. I highly recommend and will continue to support this family run business over any box store again. Best store in the greater Vancouver area.

Best fabric place I’ve been to! The staff who were working tonight (I think they might be the owners but I’m not sure) we’re absolutely fantastic. The sweetest people you ever could of imagined. Not to mention I’ve been to SO many different fabric places and none compare to the beautiful designs and loving customer service Overseas Fabric provides. I’m from Surrey and it’s definitely worth the drive into Abbotsford. I will be back many many more times!

I just wanted to tell you how much I LOVE coming into your shop. I don't know much about sewing but every time I come in to get fabric and whatnot you are all SO warm and welcoming, quick to help and NEVER make me feel stupid or foolish. It is hard to find that in any place these days. It really is such a joy there. I appreciate the care and kindness so much. Thank you.

This has to be the best fabric shop I've been to in a long time. The lady that helped me was lovely to talk with as she cut my muslin.
I always feel welcomed the moment I walk through the door.
And the prices are awesome.

So as I've mentioned many times before, I am a chef at r restaurant. In my quest for the seal I've been given the grace of management and the owners to extend my culinary skills to attain my red seal to the public for their enjoyment. As I am out of pocket for the entertainment, the atmosphere, the food, and the staff, not to mention my hours, I had to use my life skills to bring down my costs. Comparing the price of most tablecloths, it's very expensive. The only alternative was to use my skills as a tailor to create my own tablecloths. The folks said overseas fabric were absolutely amazing and helping me decide what color, what kind of fabric, how it is so, what thread to use, and anything else that I need to know that was taylor-based. The variety of fabrics available at overseas fabric is absolutely astounding. I mean like two floors and wall to wall variety of colors, fabrics, textures, patterns, accessories. It's easy to find stuff, the staff are very helpful, they treat you like family, and most of all they want you to succeed. Their prices are reasonable based on how much help they give you and the variety of stock that they have on hand to accommodate your needs. I recommend overseas fabric to anyone that is doing anything sewing or clothing or in my case table cloth based.

Stopped in today just to browse. Selection is wonderful and the two women working there were just lovely. Very friendly and welcoming!

Prices are great and the selection is even greater! I went in not really knowing what I wanted but the kind man helped me pick out a beautiful fabric for a project and even gave me a discount! I will definitely be back:)

Never disappointing! Always end up leaving with more than I needed! My questions are always answered with more info then I asked!

The staff at this store are so great, helpful, friendly and interested in your projects. Their quilting cotton inventory is the best. I just love going into this store, it’s a happy place!
