Oyster Bay Café

We went for Appy hour (3pm -5pm). My mom sat there for over 15 minutes and server kept walking by her, no acknowledgment whatsoever! We ordered the appy crab cakes. U get 3, not much bigger than a toonie and they charge $11.00! Needless to say, won't order those again.

I didn’t buy any food there but my nephew did. He bought a sandwich for $20 and said it was mediocre. The place is located on the floating pier area and it is a must see area to visit.

Fantastic environment right on the water, even better food. If you're on Vancouver island make this the one place you didn't miss.

“Service” is a term that the uninterested staff has not grasped. Maybe the young lady was having a bad day but she was certainly less than friendly.

By the time we were served our lunch, we had waited 30 minutes and had started gnawing on the tables on the patio.

The food was served (seared tuna tacos) and while it tasted ok, even if the tortillas were cold. Like, just out of the refrigerator. Maybe, I don’t know, just a thought, put the tortillas on the grill for 30 seconds?

We truly enjoyed our lunch here. You get bug portions and the food was very tasty. You go up to the counter to order. It was very relaxing n pretty surroundings

Wonderful find on the water. Open summer only. Out on a dock on a small Marina. Lovely. We stopped in for happy hour. They only had a few snacks available and we ordered them all. Caesar salad. Crab cakes. Ribs. Chips with Mango salsa. We ordered them all and ended up ordering a second round. Will come back for dinner with our pups next time. (Dogs welcome on the patio.)

Totally tasty. Happy hour menu delicious! Nachos with awesome mango chutney.that's even more awesome on the crabcakes! Super setting. Floating resto! Beautiful fleet of Chriscrafts on display! I'll be back!

Love oyster bay cafe, great little spot. Not your typical “restaurant” but the food was fantastic. Location was fun and the service was awesome

A lovely outdoor patio where you can watch the boats at the marina. We didn't have reservations but they were able to squeeze us in.

Cute spot for lunch on the water. Great menu selection and atmosphere.
I ordered the Chicken Santa Fe wrap and had them leave out the chicken (vegetarian) the woman taking our order went the extra mile to see if it was an allergy issue or not.
The food was fresh and flavorful.

Helpful Tip: we bought water bottles with our meals as we were unaware that there is actually free water available. There is a water dispenser near the door out to the patio and mason jars are provided in the same spot.

Busy in summer.
We arrived in the late afternoon around 5pm. So had to finish by 6 since there would be a reservation.
Very good food.

The food was delish! Had the prawn tacos! Would highly recommend. Also the ceviche for an appy, such good flavour. Our server was friendly and professional. All and all a great experience.

Incredible view with disappointing food and mediocre service. 30+ minutes wait times for basic dry chicken wrap.

Been Waiting over a half hr for 2 sandwiches. Servers didn't take names for food or hand out order #s. Very poor organization by management staff.
Although the marina is a great place to wait, this is unacceptable for any establishment.

Service was a bit slow. Tuna was overcooked. Not Gluten friendly. Food took an hour. They need more staff and need to give number signs for the tables so staff know where to deliver food. Lots of wrong guessing on food delivery. Awkward gravel road to get there. Car wash time.

First time at this cafe. Wish it was table service but minor detail. Food was so fresh and delicious. Prices are very good for both the food and the drinks. Had no room for dessert but they looked delicious too. Will definitely be going back.

Staff was distracted? Forgot to bring us our drinks/ beers that we already paid for. But they were cold once received. Nice view and serene.
