I am not sure if the clinic even checks the reviews but this is my last resort to try contacting them- multiple emails and calls to get an appointment with someone supposed to be my ‘family doctor’ through the clinic but no response! Could u please call back- I need a requisition for something that could be serious, and wondering why it is so tough to get an appointment for a 2 minutes phone call consult!

I do appointment last April 4,2023 by 1: 00pm for phone appointment I call the staff she said the doctor can call anytime is it right whats the reason that you book and get the time I dont why the management go on business just like this very rude staff and irresponsible the keep saying that the doctor keep calling but I never recieve any call I have proof. And inform the staff she booked again its not my fault as a patient. Management in overall is very poor I wonder the reviews is so low. If you have serious illness this clinic is not a
recommendable one.

Just curious - Is it supposed to cost $150 to get a Doctor to sign off on a Disability form?

My Doctor this morning sucked. She was uncompassionate and made me cry. I tried to get a Doctor's note after following orders from both my Union and WorkSafe BC. I have Chiro, Physio, and a Therapist who are willing to fill out the appropriate paperwork, however WorkSafe seems to take a Doctors note more seriously to be accepted.

Do I have a Family Doctor? No. The best I could do was try to get into a walk in clinic. Get in with a Doctor and do updates with them.

I pressed her for needing more than a "sick note" to give to my employer or HR (Which we don't really have in the Film Industry). She proceeded to gaslight and guilt trip me. Before even giving me any sort of exam, she decided that 4 weeks should be good for me to "heal" and get back to work.

By the end she finally gave up and said she would write up a doctors note for my disability form, but I would need to pay $150?

I don't know anyone else in my Industry that has gone on Disability that has needed to pay for a Doctor to fill out the form.

Horrible Clinic, Horrible Doctors, Would not recommend.

I have to say for a doctor visit it was a very pleasant experience. It was very organized, clean and was able to get an appointment and did not wait long to see the doctor. The doctor was great and staff was friendly.

Dr. Jessica Fenn! She lacks empathy and compassion for people with mental health. The one comment that really got to me as I’m suffering with mental health was “i don’t know just breathe or something”
Not only that she held my prescription and did not release it when she said.
She has added to my stress and anxiety during such a difficult period. So much so I have regressed in my journey to getting better.
I asked to speak with the manager who literally couldn’t care that I had an issue. Then said to me “are you arguing with me” and cut off the call.

I beg anyone who has mental health issues to stay well clear of this clinic and it’s brutal approach to suffering people.

Worst medical clinic I've ever had to deal with. Hung up on twice today after mentioning that it has taken them weeks to fill a very important prescription that I need every day. They never apologized and blamed it on me. Never going to use their services again. Won't recommend.

I went in to get my 5 stiches removed on Dec 11 at 8: 54AM. A lady came out and said "we are booked for the day and I should go to urgent care". A walk in clinic booked for the day. Really? Btw there was no body waiting in line.

I had a phone consult with one or their doctors and 3 times she told me to see my family doctor. I said he retired but she doesnt listen. It's like madam u are employed as a walk in so it makes no sense what u are saying.
I was told the doctors are good but I beg to differ.

I got a serious stomach and gut pain starting in the very early morning, as well as vomiting and nausea. I made an appoint in the morning and walked in the clinic. The front desk girl is very nice and friendly. I saw the doctor in 1 hour. The doctor checked my body and asked me questions patiently, then send me the prescription. It is very nice experience.

This is our first pregnancy and never imagined being treated this way by Dr Hippola. So unprofessional and always making excuses for not being able to provide information that is time sensitive. Blaming the system and making us feel that we are stupid because she has no time for us.

If you can avoid Dr. Hippola, please do it. She will end up asking you to change OB because she doesn't want to deal with you. What an unpleasant experience for our first pregnancy.

Horrible Service.
The receptionist was so rude. She denied to book me with the doctor I have seen before regardless of my file with him. I have spoken to her earlier before and thought it was just one time bad experience, but this lady is always so rude and arrogant.
Needs some patience and kindness to work in a medical environment.

I have tried the walk-in twice. The front desk is good and arranges an appointment for next day. Dr bassi is friendly and helpful.

Visited couple times over the last 3 weeks as I don't have a family doctor here. I had a great experience overall. Called in to book an appointment, visited as scheduled, got served quickly and got my lab results in just few days. Dr. Bassi was professional, easy to talk to and addressed the concern swiftly and efficiently. Place gets busy, so i recommend you call to reduce a wait time.

Some of the doctors are mediocre and lack patience particularly Dr browning. There is one receptionist who is very rude and should not be working the front counter customer service. She acts like we are serving her not the other way around and she hangs up on you in mid sentence.

Convenient location, clean. The service that I receive from the Staff and Dr. Bassi in particular is always professionnal and helpful. He is understanding and listen to your concerns.

This place is taking advantage of sick people. I came in to this clinic hoping to see a doctor with medical recommendation for a treatment requiring physical diagnostics. I was told I would have to speak to a doctor over the phone and ask him if he would perform it, the receptionist was also answering phones while we were in the middle of a conversation. I asked, "Does the doctor get payed for the phone call? " and she said "yes" so I left. After researching the rates these doctors are payed for phone calls, I noticed they get payed the exact same rate as they do for in-person visits! So effectively they can decide to charge our government double the money for one health issue! Moreover they can deny people treatment if they think that a procedure may take too much time. I'm not having doctors get payed to simply ask them if they can perform a treatment that I know requires physical diagnostics and have him decide whether or not my treatment is worth the money to them.

Needed test results and they never got back to me so I call a week later, they tell me to call the next day, when I call they can’t give me my results and say I have to come in and get my results and go to a different clinic because there are no doctors? People shouldn’t have to wait over a week and call for their services.

Not impressed. Clinic failed to follow up after blood test as promised. The clinic staff gave different and conflicting information about follow-up process, all with a tight deadline for a procedure. I wish that this wasn't the norm, but oversight and negligence seem to be commonplace in medical care.

Went to the clinic and they scheduled a phone appointment, but I never got a phone call. When I called the to check about it, the receptionist said my appointment was never scheduled.

I needed to see a doctor after a night of serious pain. I called the clinic in the morning and explained. They said Dr Gee would be able to call me in 2 hours. He called in about 1.5 hours and gave me options. He could see me at 2 that afternoon and would get a specimen from me and diagnose the problem. He would then write a prescription that I could take anywhere to have it filled. I arrived o. Time for the appointment. I was taken immediately to a room to leave the specimen and then take to an examination room. Dr Gee came in shortly afte pr and advised I did have an infection and needed a prescription of antibiotics. I had been at that clinic a number of years ago and he confirmed the allergies I have, and asked if any further issues. I gave him the information and he wrote my prescription and explained what I would be taking, how often, how I should take it, any side effects, and for how long. I thanked him for giving me such a quick appointment and said I noticed a pharmacy in the clinic. Can I use that one. Dr Gee said, yes of course. Or you can take it anywhere of your choice. I took the prescription to the pharmacist in the clinic and asked how long it would take. The pharmacist assured me it would take 5 minutes. I gave it to him to fill. Just as he said, it was 5 minutes. While I was paying I told, him he should hold seminars for all the other pharmacies in the city. I’ve never had such fast service on a prescription EVER in this city. And his fee was about the same as just the dispensing fee at other pharmacies. I will be back there. The entire time of the specimen sample, the doctor appointment, and the filling of the prescription was 30 minutes. That entire experience was efficiency at the utmost. I will definitely return. The entire staff there was extremely accommodating, kind, and professionally efficient.

Now I hope I have not made is so popular that it will be difficult to get an appointment.

My friend was waiting and followed the proper steps to be seen be a doctor for telehealth consult for urgent medical concerns, while she was 2nd in line she was bumped from the list without any email/text/communication. Staff was not helpful. This is frustrating as I understand we are in a busy time in healthcare but when you follow the proper steps, are patient, finally get your place in line and then kicked out is really not fair: (she has follow up booked for 2 days now.

I am very upset. I book online to be on the waitlist for a phone consultation. I waited all morning and I step away from the phone for 5 min and miss the phone call. But I tried contacting the office and the receptionist didn't even give me a chance to speak and put me on hold. I waited for 30 min and still no one bother to take my call. It's a waste of time. I could have went to a different clinic.

This place is horrible with phone appointments. They never call on the right time that they set an appointment on. They never leave a message, and when you finally get a hold of them, they'll tell you too bad you've missed your phone appointment even though they called at a different time. Front desk have horrible people skills.

HORRIBLE Service, if you want to wait hours for a doctor to contact you and a reception staff that don’t really care, then they will do just fine. If you need a professional team of healthcare professionals to look after your concern, better to look somewhere else

Dr. Javadi was very helpful and knowledgeable,
I felt comfortable discussing my problem with him.
Also the front disc receptionist were very friendly.

Seriously, they need to change their front desk staff. The receptionists are always seems like finding a way to get rid of work. My friend is not available during weekdays due to load of work and she wants me to book a appointment for her. I did this last time for her as well but today, the receptionist was way too rude, maybe shes is the one who’s working here from past long. She and her friend with tons of makeup layers are always a ignorant. She did not take my call seriously and when i said, i booked a appointment in a same way last time as well, she said “but not today”. At last she mocked me. Disgusting. Even if, she cannot book appointment this way, there are several ways to explain the circumstances but due to her attitude she does not deserve to be at a place where patients are dealt. Does not know what the head is doing there with a lot of negative reviews about reception staff but still the staff is same.

I want to specially thanks to Sarah, the receptionist and Dr. Gee for their professionalism, patience and willingness to help. It is been a rough time to me and one little thing may crush me in no time. They made my day. Dr. Gee is such a friendly doctor which you can talk to him with trust, he is so patient even he is super busy. Recommended to everyone!

I usually come to this clinic. They usually show respect to their patients but today was so disrespectful. I had an appointment with Dr. Bassi and after 40 minutes of waiting, they offer me a reschedule! Please be more respectful to your patients, we have a life and work as well! If you can't make it tell us at first!

This review is specifically for the receptionists. I've been going here for years and only one out of all the receptionists they have is kind.and that's only sometimes.
The receptionists here are horrible and don't care for the patients. I called today being super sick and not being able to breath. Im a regular patient, and was told i need to go somewhere else or can't been seen for another two days. When i am having trouble breathing today. Didn't even make an effort to try considering i've been going here for over ten years. There is only one kind receptionist here, the the others are clearly not there for the patients they are just there for the paycheque.
The Dr's are amazing tbh and this is the only reason i continue to go here, i've seen 4 diff dr's there but one of them is y regular and they are great. It's unfortunate that the receptionist ruin the patient experience - especially if the patient is really ill, i'm a cancer survivor and this is the only place i've visited where the receptionists clearly don't care for the patients at all and they even give you condescending looks.their receptionists really need some knowledge on patient care even esp if they are first point of contact for patients who may be going through something scary and then they are greeted with foul faces and attitudes.

Even 1 star is too much for this clinic. Absolutely unprofessional, irresponsible and careless team. This includes Dr's, front desk staff and the Manager.
They book a phone consult, just so they can get paid. They don't bother checking your file before calling so they are prepared. Nobody knows what's been done, what they need to follow up. It's a waste of your time. Zero ethics!

Not a client but still had a bad experience with them. I called in to let them know I found an envelope with their address as the return address with a cheque in it They asked if I could bring it to them. Told them I could but it would take me a while as I was walking there. Got there after walking from 2nd and Main (to the Kingsway location) and gave the envelope to the secretary. She didn’t greet me “Hello” or even say “thank you”. Just took the cheque then went back to typing on her computer completely ignoring me. No smile or anything which to me was very rude as the cheque inside was for a substantial amount and I feel I went out of my way to get it back to them.

I have leg knee problem I don't know the name of the doctor but she said that hospital will call me for my MRI I have very bad knee pain it can be worse in waiting for hospital call I am crying due to pain but no call from doctor no call from hospital I check daily on my phone no reply since 3 weeks

I wish I could add nurse manjeet who is taking care of my wart on foot I m giving her 5 stars.

Worst experience ever! I called that I have been coughing 3 weeks the doctor said what do you want to do, of course I need the treatment for my symptoms. Then he told me the phone number to call for chest X-ray and he will send the document there, so I called the place then they didn’t get any information of me. I called the clinic again then the receptionist said she will check with the doctor, but no follow up. I called the X-ray place again and they still didn’t get any information. The doctor can’t work properly and just scamming for money. I should have believed the reviews that says so much about unprofessionalism on this clinic. It was waste of time.

Works scheduling skills I ever seen!
My appointment was at 9: 20 am, doctor arrived 9: 30 (already late) and look himself in a room next door and started doing telephone appointments and left me waiting (and hearing everything through the wall, so no privacy to the patients on the phone).
Dr. Browning worst service I ever received.
My time is as important as his.
Definitely won't come back and won't recommend the clinic.
Also the charged me $20 only cash (?) to fill out a doctor's notice. Only cash in the middle of a pandemic? !

Receptionists need to be a bit more polite. When we call them for appointments or some kind of help, they are super rude while handling patients.
