I can't say enough good things about Pacifica Dental! From the moment I walked in, the staff and dentists made me feel welcomed and comfortable. They are incredibly friendly, professional and always go the extra mile to ensure that I have a fantastic experience.
I especially appreciate how thoughtful they are - any time I have a question, they take the time to explain everything with patience and care. As someone new to the city, I found them very inclusive and welcoming. It's clear that they truly value their patients and are committed to providing exceptional care.

CDA Alex is awesome, friendly, kind and thoughtful! Dentist is also very friendly, great patient manners and funny (in a dad joke way lol!). Wonderful practice full of great people Appreciate that they listened to my choices and explained both sides in an informative and respectful way (I asked for no freezing on a small filling and they were awesome with checking on me throughout!). Hygienist were also wonderful for myself and partner at last visit and we were able to book at the same time. She was efficient and personable. Love your staff and hope they are showered with appreciations!

Every part of my appointment at Pacifica was a positive experience. The receptionists were very welcoming to me and immediately acknowledged my baby and gave her a toy. I felt right at home in the waiting area and the office. Not to mention they have an incredible view! I hadn’t been to a dentist in nearly a decade but I’m actually really looking forward to my next appointment and plan on bringing my daughter there as a patient too and she already has a pediatric dentist. The dental hygienist was really kind and very easy to talk to. The doctor was really down to earth and though professional and obviously an expert, he explained everything clearly in layman’s terms and afterwards he sat down and offered to answer any and all questions I might have had. I sincerely enjoyed myself. My one year old felt totally at ease there. Highly recommend this place. In fact if you’re looking at reviews to find a dentist office right now, don’t bother looking past this one cause you won’t beat it.

Everyone at Pacifica Dental cares about their clients including the receptionists, dental assistants, hygienists, and the dentists. Prior to my procedure I consulted with another dental clinic and dentist in Victoria, and I was not satisfied about their plan of care. A tooth that could be restored was suggested to be extracted and put an implant in place. After my 1st visit with Dr. Coca, I was confident I was in good hands. He explained the situation and his plan with details to restore my tooth, so I booked an appointment. The quality of dental work is usually revealed to the patient a day after, and I am writing this note exactly a day after my root canal procedure. During my procedure Dr. Coca and his assistant Alex were communicative and very attentive and after the procedure I had very little pain and no pain ATM.
I highly recommend Dental Pacifica for they provide great and honest care.

I have been going to Pacifica Dental since it opened.
The first people you see greet you with warmth and genuine kindness. Ionna and Sue remember names and everything with ease.
Dr. Cristina is friendly and has a matter of fact approach that I appreciate, but is not above sharing her personal experience in order to help allay my dental anxiety. She also checks in during procedures to make sure there is no pain or discomfort.
Dr. Bogdan is friendly, with good follow-up on issues found that need another opinion.
Nina has been my hygienist since 2004. I trust her with her observations and advice. She is always making sure I am doing okay throughout the treatment, am comfortable, and not needing a break. She is also my children's hygienist, and they both like her a lot. We all feel good coming out with Nina's seal of approval for brushing and flossing practices.
I would not hesitate to recommend Pacifica Dental to anyone.

My husband and I both have high dental anxiety - and a crazy schedule. The whole team here are fantastic and they do their best to make things work out for their patients. Just had a bunch of fillings on a particularly difficult day, and just so happy with the work done. He seems that lovely mix of kind and knowledgable. GIves a great needle too. Such a swank office it might lead you to believe they put appearances first (like our last dentist), dont be fooled as the quality is also there. Highly recommended.

I had my first dental visit and treatment at Pacifica Dental. I was always nervous about dental treatments, but after visiting this clinic, I realized it's about meeting the right dentist and the caring staff one needs for managing the fears. Dr. Coca is gentle, calm and extremely professional, and the assistants are very helpful and understanding. Highly recommended!

Dr. Coca and the staff are outstanding! The office is so peaceful and the staff are very happy and very accommodating. I had a root canal tooth removed and I have no pain, yet it was a challenging 2 hour procedure. I have so much confidence in Dr. Coca! Where they put the freezing in my mouth, it was very uncomfortable, however Alex and the staff were unbelievably patient. They wouldn’t push me to go forward with the procedure, unless I was completely comfortable:) also, during the procedure He really took his time and was very methodical. I was so impressed! I can’t say enough about my positive experience! Trust me I’ve had some bad dental procedures. I will not be going anywhere else in the future. Lastly, if you like therapy dogs they have a beautiful cuddly white and grey standard poodle:)

First-class dentist. Professional, friendly, efficient - and you can get an appointment there much faster than most places in Victoria right now. I was extremely anxious about my front tooth, which is suffering a resorption, and Dr. Bogdan Coca was very understanding and empathetic and spent over an hour explaining everything to me and answering my questions. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

He is very knowledgeable and skilled, but also has a great sense of humor and "bedside" manor. I've had complex procedures that he thoroughly explained and expertly completed. I've been a patient at Pacifica Dental for almost 10 years and I've never consider going anywhere else. I'm always greeted by name and with a smile and treated with nothing but respect. I always feel welcome when I arrive which is a rare feeling at a dentist office. Dr Coca and her staff are simply the best. They will have you smiling from the time you arrive to the time you leave, even if your face is half frozen.

It took me a long time since moving to Victoria to find a good dentist I wanted to go back to and Dr. Bogdan Coca is it. He is a wonderful communicator, he is knowledgeable, gentle, and caring. Also, Nina gave me the best teeth cleaning service I have ever had.

This is a great dental office! Their staff were extremely kind, welcoming, informative and answered my questions. They have a beautiful, clean and modern office which creates a relaxing environment.

I have seen so many dentists over the last 15 years for my horrible teeth, and know that good dental offices are few and far between. Pacifica Dental is one of the few good ones! Pacifica Dental’s approach to my repairs was not only with a very high standard care and with cutting edge dental work, but also with compassion in that they truly wanted to help me with my teeth so I could finally smile again and be proud of my teeth. I had a dental emergency while staying in Victoria. I was forced to randomly pick a dentist which is kinda scary.
Pacifica Dental agreed to see me promptly.
I couldn’t be more pleased with the treatment I received. The whole staff was professional and very courteous.
Covid protocols are being followed closely at this clinic and everything is super clean and up to date.
Dr. Bogdan Coca was super professional and friendly. He and his assistant explained the procedure in a clear and concise manner.
Dr. Coca did an exceptional job on my tooth. Very happy with the way the tooth looks and functions.

I was with Pacifica for over a year and they seemed to find more and more fillings every time I went for a check-up, making me max my dental coverage. I was suspicious, but when they submitted a request to my insurance without my permission I decided to go to another dental practice. Pacifica told me that I was in need of another 2 fillings before I left them - my new dentist told me I didn't need any. I'm a little upset that I probably had far more work done then was really needed. Nice dental studio with modern equipment and friendly receptionists, but I would be sure to get another opinion before going ahead with large treatments

At first everything seemed great. Nice dentist in a modern building. They did a cleaning and took some xrays. Then estimate, after estimate started being submitted to my insurance company. Work that wasn't even discussed was being submitted. I inquired what was going on and nobody had any answers. Mindy just kept telling me that she didn't know anything about it. I asked for the dentist to call and explain what work needed to be done. No call back. I then got suspicious and went for a second opinion at a different dentist. Only 1 small cavity was found. It is pretty obvious to me that this office tries to get work approved that isn't needed and keeps submitting unneeded estimates to insurance until the limit is reached. I should have read the previous reviews first because it looks like they do this often. Pretty sad way to operate.

All of the staff at Pacifica dental are incredibly professional, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Nobody enjoys going to the dentist, including myself, but they make the experience pleasurable none the less. They are located in a newer building with wonderful views and state of the art equipment. Highly recommended.

Waow! An experience like no other. Dr Christina Coca and Dr Bogdan Coca are exceptional people. I have been bouncing around from clinic to clinic trying to find a great dentist and that search finally ended the minute I first entered this clinic. Mindy and the other front desk staff are so welcoming and caring making one feel at ease. Nina, my dental hygienist was also wonderful. She even thought me tricks for how to best floss. She is very caring and is excellent at what she does. Due to numerous negative experiences with other dentists in the past, I was quite hesitant to try and trust a new one, but I’m so glad I did. Dr. Christina is so caring and sweet she made sure I felt safe by explaining the procedures and made me feel so calm throughout every single visit. She is very nurturing and extremely knowledgeable, she is a very smart and talented woman. Dr Bogden has a very calm and understanding demeanour and was very good at ensuring I felt calm and at ease. He is very soft and doesn’t cause added pain to your mouth like other dentists. Both doctors are simply exceptional as professionals and as people, it is truly a pleasure and joy to have them as my dentists. So if you are like me, who hadn’t had much luck or have had negative experiences with dentist, I strongly urge you to give these folks a try. You will not regret it.

I love Dr. Coca. I have been seeing her for over 10 years. She has always treated me like family and made me get over my fear and worries about going to the dentist, which i had from a young age. She really cares and is listens. I also love Ivona (spelling?) who also treats me like family and always makes time to say hello. My dental hygienist, Nina always makes me feel special and works miracles. I recommend Dr. Coca, especially if you were afraid of the dentist or if you have big aspirations of improvement with your smile Also if you’re just looking for a kind and brilliant dentist.

Just love my teeth now. Having neglected them for so long. Can’t believe how effortless (for me!) the whole process was! 6 fillings and one extraction! Such a beautiful, modern office too!

They were incredible with their customer service. I am new to the area and because a front tooth crown came out they had me in the chair taking impressions the next day. The surgery was the following day and using all the latest equipment there was no yanking and pulling. They gave my my bridge to wear that day with a beautiful new tooth. Very little trauma to the tissue, no swelling, excessive bleeding or even pain, I took maybe one or two ibuprophen. They were very patient with my special concerns and supportive when it was needed. I can't say I have had such an extraction go so well before.they let me relax with a drink in their lovely space until I was really ready to go. Very friendly staff.

I recently had a fall and managed to chip my front tooth! The crack was quite large and was done right during the long weekend. I was searching for an office that would take me on such short notice and was recommended to Dr. Coca at Pacifica Dental.

They were able to fit me in for the first day after the long weekend, which was amazing! The staff there were very supportive and the work done by Dr. Coca far exceeded my expectations. She was very caring and understood the importance of aesthetics when working on my front teeth.

The end result was amazing. I would definitely recommend and I will be back for my future dental work!

This is an awful, hideously disorganized practice. The snazzy office with state-of-the-art equipment is pretty much putting lipstick on a pig. I tried Pacifica Dental last year, and they are awful, unprofessional, and a complete waste of time. Dr. Coca, you seem like a decent person, but your practice is a disaster! I hadn’t been to a dentist since I aged out of my pediatric dentist (just under 2 years ago) so when I went to Dr. Coaca I was unsure of what to expect with my teeth and service wise as it was something new to me. However, the amazing staff made me feel so comfortable and welcome and taken care of! Not only do I feel trusting of Dr. Coaca and her ability as a dr, she treats you as if youve known her for ages and ensures you feel comfortable and confident in your experience and teeth. I will deffinetly continue to go back for as long as I can:)
