The most unprofessional, low-key security company ever. Management has absolutely no respect for those who work hard and remain professional, and reward the ones that are worthless and duplicitous at their jobs. For example, there is a guard that I know that was promised everything in the world including to become a supervisor after a certain amount of time at the hospital (when Paladin had that contract). She worked harder than her colleagues and trained those that would be her supervisors, and was slapped down from becoming a supervisor role due to being at odds with certain parties that have closer ties to upper brass. A few years after working at another downtown location, they gave her an insulting "opportunity" of a supervisor course that literally teaches nothing but the things she already knows. I find it embarrassing that they claim to be a great place to work when management protects people that are doing wrong in the community and disgracing what was once a professional industry. It's disgusting and it displays a level of favoritism that is beyond duplicitous! On that's note, their is another person that should not be anywhere near the security industry that the company sees fit to keep employed, while knowing full well that she committed time theft from another company. My biggest concern is the fact that their managers are going to go too far to the point of angering those who were competent that suddenly are going to pull their support/applied knowledge leaving the industry stranded. It starts from the top!

My strongest suggestions for anyone wishing to be in the security industry is do your homework before going into this company. Management will insult you by dangling certain training/opportunities in your face and then yank it faster than you realize. That's to ensure that they keep their troops in line and working hard. I guess that's to be expected from certain managers that keep a cabinet of alcohol in one of their offices. Be careful also about their averaging agreements because that's their way of getting you settle on no overtime after a certain amount of hours. Finally, really watch yourself in what you say to management. They'll pretend to be approachable, professional and keep your confidence to your face, then turn around and betray your trust. Watch your back!
