My wife and I were at the Canucks training camp this past week and were very impressed with the security supplied by Paladin, particularly one instance. Our son is a Canuck and we were waiting for him to emerge from the players only area near section 110, after the inter-squad game. We were approached by one of the security personnel (not in uniform and I believe May have been the on site supervisor) and he learned who we were. He went beyond what he needed to in attempting to find a private spot where we could talk to our son without the crowds forming for pics and autographs (which he had done quite a bit of earlier). We appreciated his efforts which were in my opinion beyond what he needed to do.
Overall, we found the security personnel to be extra flexible and polite.

My license plate was stolen from the parkade and the guards couldn’t care less. It’s just a show and a waste of Victoria’s tax payers’ money.

I am submitting a Civil Rights Complaint for Indigenous Discrimination and getting a lawyer. I was accosted, made fun of and harassed for no reason by one of your Security Guards who (of course) would not give me his name. I did NOTHING WRONG and I begged him to hear my side of the story about how I was discriminated against by the Bath and Body Works Store, but he would not listen. The Bath and Body Works store is disgusting and has actively abused and harassed me since I have been coming, but I finally told them that I do not like them harassing me and denying service to me b/c I am Indigenous. I never threatened them and never did anything. The "guard" who looked like a 20 year old kid enjoyed bullying and threatening a 50 years old Indigenous woman. I guess his Mommy did not raise him right.he kept laughing at me telling me that he did not care that I was being discriminated against for being Indigenous. This company, Mayfair Mall and Bath and Body Works will have a lot to answer for since I happen to be an Indigenous Activist for 34 years. I do not think the lowlife guard believed me. Funny.

Just parked on View St, was happy to see a Paladin guy patrolling and when I asked him about restricted parking areas, he was helpful and friendly.
He gave good advice too.
Sadly I did not get his name but it was approx 11.15am today and The guard is an East Indian mature man.
Great service, thank you:)

My cat escaped into one of thier managed construction sites. The operator was so helpful and understanding and contacted one of their patrol officers to see if they could swing by. He was there within 10 min and also turned out to be a cat whisperer. All around amazing experience, thank you so much for all your help. Wish I had caught both of thier names.

Tonight, at Hillside Mall, I was subjected to the cruellest and most inhuman treatment I have ever endured in 70 years of living. This involves the security company - Paladin Security - who looks after the Mall. I would have received more compassion from a bunch of street thugs! I am a senior woman and a regular shopper at Hillside Mall. This evening, I had an emergency and was in a state of absolute panic. I had lost my wallet that had all my ID and my credit cards in it - in other words, my whole life was in there and I could not even buy food.

I very respectfully asked ANTHONY, the head of Paladin Security, if it was possible for him to go into Bolen Books, which was closed, to get my wallet because I was sure that I had left it there. I already felt ganged up on because three security guards were there gawking at me with cold faces - there was nothing nice about these guys!

ANTHONY flatly refused to help me, telling me that there was nothing that he could do for me. I was extremely upset, crying and upset. But nobody cared. None of those callous guys offered me water or any help at all and I was in obvious distress.

ANTHONY was oblivious to my distress. He could not have cared less. I told him that I was worried sick about my wallet and that it might get into the wrong hands and I pleaded with him to please go into Bolen Books and get my wallet. It was probably on the counter where I left it and ANTHONY had a key to go in. It would have been easy for him to help me but he told me that he would not do that. He just stood there and stared at me and so did the other two guys.

Not one of those three horrible men showed me any kindness or compassion. What kind of horrible human beings just stand there and stare at someone who is in distress and refuse to show them any humanity!

ANTHONY and his team of security guards showed me just how CRUEL people can be. They should not be dealing with the public.

I am sickened and disgusted by such callous and insensitive and unprofessional treatment by Palladin's Security - and Hillside Mall for hiring them!

Worked my husband to the bone in the IT department in BMS only to lay him off 4 years later after he did a successful merger to Paladin. From then, after moving his position to Vancouver (and we did too), overlooks him for his own position despite everyone at the office giving great reference letters. He is now working for Paladin again stuck in a poor paying job with more than enough experience in the field for who knows what reason not allowed to move up.

Have always had my back. Specifically Trev' in the mobile department has been the best employer i have had the pleasure to work for.
Can't express my appreciation for Paladin and the employers of Paladin enough. For rizzle.

When asked why they left a cat to die in the road after they ran it over while speeding through a neighbourhood:

"Because it's a cat".

Stay classy, Paladin.

I worked for Paladin Security for 5 years, and can say they do care about their clients as well they do offer a number of incentives for their staff. I may be a bit biased as one of the "yes" people who rarely turned down shifts. Pay WAS a bit mediocre, and tied very tightly to sites. (I took a 1.00 /hr pay cut to move UP in the company). If you need them for an event, or for regular contract, know you will be getting very well trained employees who will 75% of the time go above and beyond (entry level security guys often don't want to, but I've found that paladin rewards this more than others I've heard of).

Was very happy with this company but now they have sold out their residential customers to Telus

While I can understand that some people have had poorer experiences, I know that Paladin focuses alot of their energy towards being an employee oriented organization. They've paid for all of my training courses, provided mentorship which have shaped my character skills and given me a flexible schedule & multitude of shift/site opportunities while I go through school.
