I was very deceptive of the service, my family and I used to visit the restaurant weekly to enjoy the good pizza but then the restaurant changed the services and stopped accepting pets in outside areas and the waitress was so Ruud with us because we wanted to have dinner with our pet.

The food was phenomenal and so was the service! I have severe food allergies and they took really good care of me!

We went with our family of 4 and we ordered a pizza and some pastas. Both tasting great and I highly recommend.

As always a pleasure to come to this place. The food, the crew, the place and music on weekends! A must go if you around north Vancouver! Today Michaela took well care of our table and we all enjoyed so much her attitude…

The first couple of times I went I had pizza, which was good, but last time I had the lamb chops and they were excellent. Nice to have live music too

Open kitchen. Perfect Mushroom Risotto, Calzone and Panna Cotta. Efficient and attentive service. Great ambience.

Server was on her game. Pizzas were done to perfection, although slow in coming out, which is my only complaint! Would go back again!

Loved the pizzas. The crust was thin but not too thin. The toppings were great too, fresh and tasty. Both pizzas we ordered were 10/10. Thanks palermo cucina!

Incredible pizza place to go to when you're having a bad day. They're pizza has numerous and unique options and toppings with an amazing crust, the cheese is amazing as well. The service is incredibly kind with a very nice mom and pop ambiance. 10/10 would go again

I came here to support a friend who was playing music for a fundraiser. I had booked a reservation over the phone for a table for 4 at 7pm. I arrived early but i had mentioned at least 3 times that I had others joining me. We waited for 30 mins to then be told that we had to wait for another table to open up. Luckily, a friend of mine moved herself to the bar with her boyfriend so we could take their table. So 3 of us squeezed into a 2 person table and told my other friend that we didn’t have room for her at our table. After waiting awhile for our drinks, my friends boyfriend decided to just leave at this point as it was uncomfortable and taking too long. After being sat down for awhile, the manager eventually came over to tell us that she had burnt her hand that day and misplaced my reservation? Seemed odd and unapologetic. Luckily our server was great and got our order through shortly after. After a long wait, the food came and it was honestly just OK. After we had eaten, we were then offered a free dessert for the situation. It seemed a bit like an after thought. Overall, I was not impressed with the food or the service. I left feeling dissatisfied and I don’t see myself recommending this place.

Enjoy the outside patio, Caesar Salad are fresh and the bread are crispy and just the way it should be, Pizza are really great, juicy source with wood baked pizza

This is a tough one for me as this was one of my very favourite places on the North Shore. Friday and Saturday Nights with live entertainment and great food made for a great night. Used to go weekly, invited multiple folks to try it and even thought about planning a family party there. A few months ago there was an ownership change. I had a couple of visits while the old owner was transitioning to the new group. The food was great but the service had already suffered. Poor timing with bringing entrees, lack of attention to the table. Had a couple of subpar visits with food that had gotten cold etc and decided to take a break and let new ownership work out the issues. Decided to go back after 4 months away. It was a complete gong show, understaffed, under trained staff, dirty floor, dirty menus and the food has slipped so badly. The Spaghetti Bolognese reminded me of boil in the bag spaghetti from the frozen food aisle, overcooked Calamari starter and just no sense of service. No offer of pepper or cheese, poor presentation, and too pricy for this sort of experience. No inquiries on how the food was. I feel bad because I think the new owner is trying very hard but clearly out of her element. For now, I'll look to go somewhere else for Italian on the North Shore.

Service has room to improve, food is ok, good portions size for $$$ price, wait for long time for a waiter to walk around, over all was ok, but what make the date was the live music great singer taking request.just top notch, end up even dancing! With a guest lady, did not know his name but he was classy and super entertaining definitely will come back soon.

Ordered on Uber eats, delivery time kept getting pushed later and later. Finally the driver called me to tell me they were parked outside the restaurant and it was closed….

We went here for a family lunch, my husband's family being Italian.

Food was ok. I guess I'm not a fan of "traditional oven baked pizzas" my Hawaiian pizza had loads of pineapple and ham which was good, but barely any cheese at all, and the thin crust was practically raw and undercooked and the crust burnt. Definitely wouldn't order again. I ate it to be polite.

Calamari was good, but I don't love it with marinara sauce. I'm a tzatziki fan! (Yes I know I was at an Italian restaurant not a Greek. - as my pretentious Italian husband reminded me)

I pointed out that almost all restaurants serve it with tzatziki because IT TASTES BETTER!

My kids had spaghetti and meatballs, pretty good. Not spectacular.

Out of the three things I ate while there, I wouldn't order any of them again.

Ambiance was lovely and the staff were absolutely wonderful! My 3 year old was a bit loud and wandering around touching everything so points for their patience and understanding

I also loved that they had white claws on the drink menu!

Overall we had a great family meal, I'm probably just really picky and hard to please. That being said, I could eat Wendy's spicy chicken snack wraps for the rest of my life and be happy.

Parking was a nightmare! I had to leave the restaurant and move my vehicle because all I could find was one hour street parking. But I guess that's North Van. At least it's still free!

Overall experience was average. I would not recommend this place.

Three pastas came out in good time, however we waited 9 minutes for the fourth pasta. One of our guests were finished their meal by the time the last pasta showed up… not ideal for a fun dining experience. We had to ask if bread came with the table, and server was like ohhh right yeah … We were barely offered an apology, and we had to ask for a discount on the fourth pasta.

Do not recommend getting the lasagna.

Maybe a few extra staff on would solve this problem.or just better customer service.

Hello today
I came and ate calzone, unfortunately it was very bad, salty and without content, and I have to give you a review.

I went to have dinner with my family.
We order a few starters Calamari was one of them and a salad.
Then the waitress mentioned there was no calamari available but she will check.
She came after and mentioned there was no problem and soon we will have them.
We order a few drinks and I noticed 1 of the waitress coming back from the store with a box of calamari.
After we ordered 2 pizzas 1 Hawaiian and 1prossciuto.
I had an order also for myself a sangria.
In the end, we like the food I have the sangria I couldn't even drink was disgusting.
After our visit we got all sick my 4-year-old begins with vomit followed by my wife and my other daughter at the end was me we all end up at Lions gate hospital after none stop stomach pain and vomit. I will not recommend this place at all.
I can easily go to the superstore and get the same box of calamari myself.
Well, it took us a week to recover

Prawn appie is excellent as well as the calamari. Caesar salad a good portion size. Tira misu nice staff

Great good. Great service. Best Tiramisu and probably the best Italian restaurant on Northshore. Will be back soon.

I don't eat pizza often but this is been an excellent find. Fantastic piece set and we will be back!

Amazing food! True authentic Italian. I have been searching for true Italian pizza since visiting Italy! Extremely flavourful food, friendly service and a great atmosphere. I visit them every time I’m in town. Wish they had more restaurants!

We love the food at Palermo Cucina. The wait staff is very attentive and friendly and an added bonus is the live music! Their menu works well as a convenient take home option too. If you are thinking of trying out this restaurant don't hesitate. We highly recommend it.

The food here is great but the service is awful. I called in a takeout order at 7: 10, was told to come in 45 minutes, came in at exactly 7: 55, and when I came in, waited to be rung up and then was spoken to SO rudely for taking too long to come pick up my order? I asked if that meant my food had been sitting out for long (they said not too long) and I explained that I was told 45 minutes and was on time for my order, and then was argued with about that by the woman I spoke to on the phone. Being in there for the 2 minutes it took to get my food was awful but at least it was good, just a little cold obviously.

Nice location with friendly atmosphere.
People were nice and the service was good.
The food was just okay and could be better but it’s still worth the visit.

I was introduced to this place by a friend and I enjoyed their food. They’re known for their delish Neopolitan pizza and pasta. We started with the deep fried calamari and had the prosciutto pizza with fresh arugula. The calamari came with slightly grilled red peppers which was a nice change. The sauce has a bit of a kick to it. It didn’t taste too greasy but a little too much of batter. The pizza was cooked in a wood fired pizza oven. The menu is one and the same for both lunch and dinner. There’s a decent selection for vegetarians.

Note they’re only open for lunch from Wednesdays to Sundays. Closed Mondays.

Service was prompt. Great ambience and clean place. Parking is on the street. Be aware of the 1 hour parking limits except the side streets which is 2 hr max.

My boyfriend and I ordered a pizza and pesto and chicken pasta, the food was amazing! We enjoyed the house wine and tiramisù a lot too.

Pasta was over cooked, sauce was flat. Caesar salad came with THREE croutons.

Yet the service managed to be even worse.

Ordered Pizza for Pick up and was very satisfied and happy! One of the first restaurants in Canada, where the pizza tastes like in Bella Italia:)

OK 5 stars. Dinner on Tueaday pasta night. 13.00 per plate. Very good pasta and large portions. Dinner for 4 plus two rounds of drinks and Ceaser Salad and pizza for an appy, 137.00. Happy

This is a must stop when you are in North Vancouver. The food is amazing, the service is top drawer, the restaurant is extremely clean.
Every meal that we have tried has been cooked to perfection and the flavour will keep you coming back for more. This is my second visit this week. Excellent! Bravo

Delicious food and nice environment. Tables are nicely spaced out. On Tuesdays, all pasta is $13! The waitress even packed us some complementary bread to go!

Service was a bit slow and food was average, but they are just getting going. Will give them another try in a couple of months.

Had two pizzas, both of which were really good. The rest of the menu looked good too. I'll be coming back soon. Service could use some improvement, but I'll chalk that up to it being a new restaurant.

To be honest I was hesitant to go for the first time after reading some of the reviews. But finally got there last night. It was about 10-12 of us and it was the best decision we ever made. Great appetizers. Very nice and friendly staff and Pizzas were amazing. Didn’t have this high-quality pizza for a long time. We really needed a place like this in North Vancouver. Definitely will go back for beer and pizza. Thanks for the great food and service.
