Pallas Athena Greek Kousina

Love the food at this place but my husband won't go back after a horrible take out experience. He arrived when they said he should and he still had to wait an hour. After 20 mins they said it would be right out and he waited another 20 mins before asking again. After 40 mins they said oh yours was there the whole time but now it's cold so we will make another. One hour later it's ready, no apology, no discount, he's sworn it off forever.

Had Pallas Athena for takeout for mother's day and I feel like our journey here is done. Please recommend your favorite Greek places.

We have supported them for years but every meal just keeps getting worse and my husband is just down with them. Tonight, my friend stated their souvlaki didn't even taste marinated, it tasted like dry grilled chicken with oregano. I can confirm The rice was undercooked and bland, the potato wasn't as delectable as it was in days past. The Greek salad was just olive oil, no acid at all. I had to add salt and lemon juice to the meal which I've never had to do. Also, their menu prices online aren't accurate. It states 17.50 for their souvlaki on one area, 18.50 on another and they charged $20.50 per meal today. This picture is the one my friend has which was a full meal minus 1 chicken skewer.

Hadn't been here in quite awhile. Went with the fam last week and Pallas Athena did not disappoint! The food is still as good as ever. Highly recommend the mouth watering, fall off the bone, perfectly seasoned, lamb shoulder! Had many lamb shoulders at other Greek restaurants, but NOTHING compares to the lamb here!

More disappointing each time we order take out. We have faithfully ordered from Dinakis for many years because most of the time we have ordered their food throughout these years have been positive experiences with great food. I have to write this negative review now since this restaurant has sadly gone down hill these last few years. Let’s talk about the roast lamb, which was once amazingly delicious big chunks of tasty tender fall apart melt in your mouth taste bombs, best lamb ever… now the quality has surely changed as it’s either full of big fatty chunks or half of vertebrates with some not so tender all the time mixed with dry pieces of meat you can’t be sure if it’s another piece of bone of meat! …very weird TBH. Then there’s the fettuccine Alfredo…omg butter much? Do they even have a qualified chef working in that restaurant? It oozes oily sauce that’s really unbearable and inedible. Then the pita bread that is as hard as rock! Sad but true. They need to get their act together!

Ordered seafood platter for 2 and the salmon was super small for one along with one small scallop skewer and prawn skewer

Outstanding Greek cuisine. Their roast lamb melts in your mouth and the calamari is crispy outside and tender inside. Also, our seafood platter was all cooked to perfection The service is very friendly and attentive. We had an excellent experience here.

First time at this little hidden gem.food was amazing! Loved the service, owners came out to greet us and asked us about the quality of food. Can't believe I didn't know about this place. Their lamb is to die for.saganaki was delicious and the bougatsa dessert was mouth watering. Can't wait for the next visit

Great Greek food.the saganaki is to die for! I had the spanakopita dinner and my date the moussaka and we both loved our dinner! Highly recommend their Greek salad as well. A PoCo hidden gem! Stella and Italian Pinot Grigio are our fave beverages.

I went in with high expectations but left utterly disappointed. I am still puzzled about why this place was so highly rated. I wouldn't recommend it.

Felt cold near the back wall but everything else was good. Will be back but need better heating. It was a cold evening, unusual weather.

A amazing place to eat with such friendly funny staff. The food was amazing and I will be going back again for dinner. I am glad I remembered to save room for Desert. 10/10

I've eaten at this restaurant more than 20 times. Every single time it's consistently good, if not great. Not once have I had a bad in dining or take out experience. I certainly can't say the same about the majority of restaurants in Coquitlam, many of which I don't visit anymore because of previous experiences. In fact there are very few restaurants in Coquitlam that are consistently good. This is one of the very few restaurants that has excellent food all the time. Thanks to the owners for maintaining a quality dining experience. It's nice to see someone takes pride in their business especially when it comes to quality of food.
