Papa John's Pizza

Ordered a pizza and it simply never showed up. Wont be attempting that again. Good job papa johns.

I really did not like the food here. It was a bit overpriced for what I got. The pizza is underwhelming, and also, they do not accept tap payments. However, 3 stars because of customer service. The attendant let me e-transfer him for my pizza.

I don’t like it because the customer service is very bad and the pizzas were also not good. I ordered two pizzas and totally waste money they didn’t have glass or cups for drinks and they don’t have napkins.

Always open late. Your best deals only happen when you order online. Never walk in here and just order a pizza since you will be paying 25% more than if you order online.

Even with these complaints, Papa John's is a strong 3.5 stars out of 5. The prices are not as good as Domino's, but the pizza is slightly hearter. These two fast food pizzerias are pretty close in quality. The building and restaurant are run down, but clean. I would highly recommend you do takeout since hardly anyone would be willing to dine in here.

Also parking here is never impossible.

We placed an order online for picked up was charged for the order and when it came time to pick it up they said they never got the order, we were told we would get a call back from the manager (never did) and was never refunded the money

Order through third party disappeared, they have no control. That's fine.
Employee would not provide manager name, as a manager myself this doesn't seem right. While revealing times of work would be confidential, and methods of contact, who the client would be looking for seems reasonable but the employee wouldn't budge, stating even if they messed up it would be dealt with through that third party, seems to me like they don't want to own up to a mistake.
Seemed fine with me saying they lost my patronage, be wary when ordering here.

Since they couldn’t find my online order, I had to oder it again and wait longer.
But the taste was worth it Haha I wish I could have it everyday~

Unfortunately not a good experience with the service and delivery. I called them one hour after placing the order and when I spoke with the person on the phone they said that it should take 10 more minutes and hung up quickly. Then 10 minutes go by and I call them again and they still can’t give me a good answer. Then its eventually an hour and a half and I call again. I ask them how this is possible? ! That at least I hope they can provide a discount or anything for the wait. They say they will check with the manager but no answer. Eventually the driver arrives and I call back to see if they’re going to offer anything for the long wait and inconvenience and they just basically keep me waiting on the phone to eventually say that they cant do anything for me. At this point I’m just disappointed and hungry, so I just pay and move on. But what a lack of accountability and customer service.

Stopped going to this location. Worst customer service and less toppings. I would rather drive to New West or PoCo than deal with these new owners.

Came here as a delivery driver, the person shook his head and said 30 mins then told me to walk away - extremely unprofessional service

It took 100 minutes to arrive (tracking said 45 minutes), over phone they lied twice by saying "It could arrive any minute now", only their minute turned out to be 40 minutes long.

Took 1.5 hours for delivery which okay fine maybe your busy but when our food was finally delivered the driver got mad at us because the letter part of our address was not there - yet it was in the instructions where we always put it and never have an issue. So your going to yell at your customers because you don't want to read the instructions? ! And even then if you can't fidn your customers house then call them. I don't get where yelling at your customers is okay. To top it off food is half burned. Do not recommend.

Pizza is pizza determined by how hot the stove is and what kind of stove.
Ingredients were good.

Driver did not call upon arrival even though it was specified to do so. We don't have a seperate entrance accessible through the front of the house, so he decided to knock on the door at 10: 30pm and wake our landlords. No contact delivery was not checked as we were paying cash and even if it was he should have called as asked. He shouldn't have gotten the tip he did. Won't be ordering delivery again.

This location is my household's new go-to pizza joint. The pizzas were hot, fresh, and quite delicious. Moreover, the service was very friendly in my experience.
I've also had Uncle Fatih's, Domino's, 7-Eleven, and Boston PIzza recently, and Papa John's comes out on top.

I have not been back to this place in over a year. Service has dramatically improved and New Mgmt is the reason. I will be going back often

Never tried the pizza because when I walked in and looked for the prices they didn't have them displayed or even on their take out menu and I refuse to look them up online when I am already in the place. I am a certified pizzaholic and I have NEVER in the countless number of pizza places seen another that did not display their prices. The screens had images of pizza but no prices. Call me old fashioned or even paranoid but having to ask for the cost of food from a takeout creates a level of distrust in me. Plus I heard some scathing opinions of Papa Johns but was in the area. I have to give 4 stars because the pizza was very good and very hot. Unfortunately the night before I tried skip the dishes and the order never came. I spoke to the shop directly and it appears that skip was to blame but she said that it would be better to order directly next time. I had to throw together a dinner for my small kids last minute after almost an hour and a half. Again allegedly not Papa's fault. I tried ordering directly thru the shop and unfortunately it was a little over an hour of waiting for 2 small pizzas. It was too reminiscent of the night before and unfortunately the contactless delivery was not as it should have been and this innocent, young deliveryman standing at my door received the brunt of my anger! Poor chap. Only wish they would have given me a heads up. It's a stressful time!

This is a very good and consistent pizza I’ve ordered here about 12 times and it’s always been good. Meat lovers

Very disappointed with the service we received today. I ordered a pizza for my wife to pick up. The pizza was cheese and Canadian Bacon as listed on thier website. When my wife picked up the pizza they were very rude in telling her the pizza was ham not bacon. If this is the case why does it say Canadian Bacon on the website? If you dont want customers calling that, change the website to say ham instead of taking it out on your customers.

I haven't had pizza from here for a couple of years, but it wasn't that bad from what I remember. I do know for a fact though that the owner is Korean like myself and a real jerk from a past dealing I had with him. He looks very unhappy. If I do order from here and have a bad experience, ie, skimpy toppings, I will not hesitate to complain to their head office and I recommend others do the same as well.

Barely gives any toppings, if you order pepperoni, expect that at least 2 of your slices wont have a single pepperoni on them. I have found this to be so consistent with every papa johns chain i've dealt with except the one in Port Coquitlam on Shaughnessy.

Ok i usually dont review a place unless its exceptionally good, this is my first time with an exceptionally bad review. Only redeeming factor of this place is the delivery drivers, very customer friendly, never a sideways squished pizza, very hot on delivery. Other than that.well the website says delivery is the same hours as the hours of operation, truth is that they only deliver from 4pm onwards with a random exception of somewhere between 12 and 1pm any given day of the week (its like roulette). They say its because its a weekend only thing but ive ordered on a wednesday at that time and got it delivered, and then again on a saturday and got pushed to 4pm. On that note the one guy you talk to when this or some other misread of your order comes up can barely speak english, slurs his words beyond comprehension almost as if on purpose and will usually think outloud on the phone which is extremely confusing when trying to decipher whether you have to answer a question or not. In general, horrible phone service.

Yeah okay bad phone service and weird but understandable hours sure, probably not going to be a bother if you're ordering online on a monday night. Here's my big problem with this place. Many times I've ordered dipping sauces, or other even regular menu items that have just not been delivered. Its also incredibley frequent for them to give you a pepsi cherry instead of a regular pepsi. Now im not one to make a fuss usually, ive only called them about this once recently and to their credit; did get everything i ordered delivered to me asap, but still. This is way too common of an occurance to leave out of this and is the main reason in addition to the phone service im rating this place 2 stars.

TL;DR: If you live in the area and want papa johns, this is both your only option and a place that barely works to keep above par. If you just want pizza and live in the area though.for the love of your wallet, experience, and taste pick up the phone and order from somewhere else local, like Austin Heights.

They accidently gave my pizza to other customer. They politely asked me to wait for a little while and gave me some services as a compliment.

Rude employees, I called and had a question, a simple question asking if they had thin crust. He told me told hold. I tried quickly asking and he put the phone down for more than 5 minutes. Very unprofessional regardless of how busy a company is. Domt answer the phone and put someone on hold for a simple question. Take the time to listen to the customer before you put them on hold.

Super bland and bad textures, would have been better off going to dominos, at least it would've been cheaper there.

The philly steak pizza had not enough toppings. Looks like half the toppings. Pan pizza's bottom part was burnt. This was 50 percent promo deal.

They have tables for people to eat in but they dont give free water, they only sell it.i thought by law every establishment has to give free water if customers ask. Not coming here again

This is the worst pizza place. The guy who was making my pizza looked like he didn’t wash his hair for 2 years and he wasn’t wearing gloves. I ordered 3 large pizzas and I threw all of them away. They were dry and it tasted like rubber. Rubber would honestly taste better than this garbage.

Papa John was good when they first was introduced to BC, they started out with introducing large amounts of toppings, now there the same as everyone else.cheap with the toppings and over priced
