I'm spreading the word about how horrible and unreliable this company is with its services. Horrible and rude response to customers when asked for accountability. Save yourself and stay away from these guys.

I am so happy I called Papa Plumbing. I was in need of changing my hot water tank. We were not an emergency and I didn’t want to schedule it the day I called. They were willing and able to do it the same day. Once established a time and date I had a call from the tech, who also had to tell not today next week. The day before I got a call and said they wanted to drop of the hot water tank to ensure it would be a speedy turn around as I have an oversized tank and assessed they need more than once tech to get the water tank in and out. When they arrived they had three people. Did an amazing job. Friendly, explained the process and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend them. I just called for some gas fitting repairs, and again they wanted to send someone that afternoon… who does this? …Papa Plumbing I’m super impressed with them and their system.

Recently, we had a radiant heating system problem. Papa Plumbing sent a technician to have a look, who told me what would be done and how much would be charged for parts and for labor.

For a part which is a pump, the technician told me that the price is a little bit more than $1000 ($1100 or $1050?). Then, he asked me to sign the invoice form and made payment with credit card.

He left, and other technicians of the company came and installed the pump. But when I saw the actual pump and checked online about the price of the exactly same pump, the online price is $226.80. Compared with the price given to me, the difference is more than $800. And an installing technician also mentioned that the pump used to be over $100 several years ago, and now it is over $200.

I called the company for a convincing explanation and for a refund of the difference. They could not give a convincing explanation and refused to issue a refund, but repeatedly insisted that I already signed the invoice form.

I want to know why Papa Plumbing charged a part for $800 more than the market price without a convincing reason and refused to issue a refund.

Why does Google remove my reviews on Papa Plumbing? What I have said here is fact. If Google behaves in this way, more and more people will know that review is just a joke. Who will believe Google any more?

The entire experience was great, from their customer service people to the technicians I spoke with and came out to clear the kitchen pipes. The tech took time to explain the problem to me, provided helpful tips and solutions to avoid this happening again and the service was very reasonably priced. I found them on the BBB and plan to use Papa Plumbing for any and all plumbing and heating needs here on out. Highly recommend them! Very responsive and professional.

They wanted $775 plus tax to do a kitchen sink drain fix. I got someone else for $350. It took them less than an hour to fix. Papas prices can be ridiculous

Jamie and his crew were awesome in helping me renovate my son's condo when the condo above flooded his place too. Always available when I needed them. Very responsive. Jamie has a wicked sense of humor and likes to listen to Zen music while he's working.

Repiped our house. They were very thorough, friendly and informative. Didn't do anything without making sure I saw what needed to be done. Jamie and Adrian were exceptional. Thanks for all your hard work. We sleep better now knowing you took the time and care our house needed.

They were very quick to reply my message and schedule a visit, as I had a leak in my kitchen cabinet. Jamie did an amazing job in my kitchen, he is very polite and professional, he patiently instructed me on how to maintain/clean the new faucet.

Called them around noon for emergency service. They booked me for a same day service arriving around 1-3pm. Never showed up, no call back for rescheduling or anything why they're running late. Ended up calling them again around 5 just to make sure if they are coming and what time they will be coming. Technician (?) called me back, telling me they will be coming, but then for another hour they didnt arrive nor told me when they will be arriving. TERRIBLE SERVICE, TERRIBLE TIME MANAGEMENT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. Even if this shop is your last choice for your service you better AVOID. Not even worth 1 star.

We've had a bout of very cold weather and in the news there were reports of more than a thousand burst pipes in the area. I'd reached out to several vendors in hopes of getting help with my burst pipe and Papa's was by far the best when it came to communication and actual service.
They kept their word and showed up accordingly, and when they got here Jamie and Adrian got to work to assess my situation.
Not only did we get a solid short term fix in place, Jamie provided guidance and recommendations for the next steps - dealing with the considerable water damage and planning for a more robust solution.
I'm very satisfied with the work and service.

I am very impressed with the service we have received from Papa Plumbing and Heating. Our furnace stopped working during the December cold snap. Kal had a technician out the same day to diagnose and repair the issue. We knew who to call, as our Hot Water Tank stopped working a couple years ago, and we had a similar experience. Papa Plumbing and Heating was able to replace the failed tank for us same day. Great Service!

I would highly recommend papa plumbing for any of your plumbing needs. They came out to our house really quickly and had the problem fixed in no time. I was really impressed with their customer service because they were very helpful and friendly even though it was late at night.

Dale from Papa plumbing showed-up today to finish my bathroom reno to hook up all the fixtures. He was super pleasant, personable, professional and quick. He was in-and-out and I have a bathroom again. Really appreciated that I had been told by 2 contractors that my shower would be complicated and a challenge due to the depth of the diverter in relation to the tiles. Dale said "I'm the guy they send for challenges/difficult stuff". He had zero issues and fitted it immediately. I would recommend him as a fantastic service technician.

Unethical company. We have an elderly friend who lives in a mobile home. She reached out to Papa plumbing for assistance with her Furnace dealt with someone named Josh. They asked for cash only upfront and charged her $1500 to replace a gas valve. Did not provide a warranty, only handwritten note. By the time we found out she had already handed over the money.

Dale was great! We had discovered that a small nail had gone through one of the sewage pipes. Dale came in explained what happens if left alone, what our options were and how he could fix it. It was timely, appropriate, done well and quick too. He was friendly and kind and thorough.

We had a very small leak under sink over time was hardly noticed but PAPA Plumbing came in and found it and repaired it promptly and properly. Jon the plumbing technician replaced my old toilet with a brand new one and took the old one away. Jon was very respectful and helpful. Thanks so much PAPA Plumbing. I know I'll be needing a hot water tank soon and they already quoted me a price and said it could be done in less than a day.

Used Papa plumbing over the years for different plumbing repairs in the house. They are always reliable, efficient and fairly priced. Would not use anyone else.

5 Stars all the Way. For anyone looking for plumbing or heating installations, look no further. The only plumbing company I trust to work on my home. I originally had another company come install a new hot water tank in my home and it was a complete disaster. (They had pipes running against my wall joints and cut a hole in the side of my house and ordered the wrong tank and poor installation and customer service) Ask them to come back to fix and they kept delaying and making no shows.

I finally gave up and we found Papa's Plumbing.

I spoke to Kal from Papa Plumbing and he got one of his tech's to come in and they assessed the situation and ordered the proper hot water tank that I needed and installed everything very professionally. It was a completely night and day from the other company. Very professional.

Kal also helped me with my broken Furnace/Boiler. I had no heat in the house at the time and he fast track my installation and pulled one of his Tech's all the way from ALDERGROVE to come to burnaby. To make sure I got heat in the house ASAP. Kal is the most considerate and understanding human I know in the industry. Absolutely amazing.

Papa's plumbing may not be the cheapest but they get the job done right and that is worth more then any money you can save from some other plumbing companies out there.

Overall great experiences dealing with this company. They installed all our plumbing, bathrooms stuff, furnace, water heater, & fireplaces.

They attends to our need immediately.when our furnace was not working properly they came within 1.5 hours and solved the problem! If I asked anything, the response I got was quick. Thanks, Karl & team!
