Paradise Donair

This place has the worse food I have ever tasted in my life, considering that when I picked up my order I wasn’t even acknowledged to the quality of the food in which the hummus and garlic sauces are watered down to save costs is just ridiculous, you think you are going to get a nice and tasty beef platter and all you get is a salad or something like that on top of rice, the food was fresh but you can see they’re trying to give you something that is subpar. Do not recommend this restaurant at all.

Usually this place never fails, the new guy getting trained by the lovely this evening absolutely is not it, find someone else. My boyfriend and I came in to order the same thing and my donair was significantly smaller (the new guy made my donair). First he forgot to put sauce inside then I asked for extra sauce, I turned my head for a quick second and didn’t see him put the sauce. The lady reminded him again to put extra sauce and said he did. Cut to getting home and eating my donair, you can see the size difference in protein AND there was BARELY any sauce. There’s one thing about making mistakes, catching it and correcting it is fine. But lying about it is one thing, a dishonest person cannot be trained to give better service. They will always make excuses and say “I’ll be better”. You look forward to your meal all day to be disappointed. That’s the absolute worst feeling.

Find someone better.

There was a girl, and she was very busy. When we went inside, her face was very unhappy, and no greeting with us. We have been standing there for 15 minutes and she is not even say anything. Very unprofessional. I feel sorry for the girl who has a terrible life.

Ali has been a great friend to me. His food is really good. If you don’t like it don’t come.

Paradise donair.more like nightmare donair. I did an online order for this. I order 2 large chicken donair pita wrap. I definitely got something else. I couldn't tell if it was beef or lamb or some kind of disgusting dog meat.

Not impressed here.

I've been coming here for 10 years. I pick up or eat in store mostly around dinner time. 95% of the time it is great. The other 5 is ok. They are always busy so that 5% being ok is understandable. Nothing bad to say about this place. The people are always friendly. Best donairs/platters I ever had.

I order through Uber eats to pick up two large beef donair but when I went to pick up it seemed like they are hardly a medium donair. Upon eating I could swear it tasted like lamb because I only eat chicken or beef donair and I remember the taste pretty well, also I know why it’s lamb because I hate that taste of it. Idk if the guy made a mistake choosing the meat but yeah it kinda ruined my day

I would not recommend this place. I ordered a mixed donair and what I got was dry and tasteless. The place was messy and the dining room was used as storage.

They gave us lots of extra meat which was great and it was very tasty! It would have been 5/5 But I asked for extra sauce and multiple sauces and none of our orders had any sauce which made it very dry. Even put it in the notes, would have gladly paid extra as I craving donairs today! If you like lots sauce like I do, I suggest ordering else where. I love tzatziki so not having any when I asked for extra was extremely disappointing: (

Romaine lettuce not iceberg and the cucumbers aren't slimy. The fries are portioned way to small but that's trivial

They need to fire whoever works the night shift. I ordered through uber eats and every item I ordered was wrong and each one was only like 1/4 of what you see on the photos.btw I ordered two "large" platters

Very terrible service! I order food online by UberEATS and they send a half eaten doner platter to us.

Very humble owners and staff, their food is quite well made and they pay close attention to your add ons/customizations.

No dine in, only take out. The portions are great and it's all freshly made.

The whole shop is a grease house. Grease on the ceiling, in the hvac pipes, walls, everywhere. There is no thought about having a clean and safe work environment. Absolutely filthy.

I’ve been going to paradise donair for over a decade and unfortunately the quality has gone way down.

We were excited to see a BOGO deal on Uber Eats and ordered two Large Meat Platters and added on extra meat for $2.50/ea.

When food came, the serving sizes were so small - snack size! I don’t think that they honoured the extra meat add ons, despite paying extra for it. There was a very thin, cold layer of rice at the bottom of each small takeout container. There was hardly any sauce. Both were missing items (tabbuleh, pickles, hot sauce). I was still hungry at the end of the meal, unfortunately. I will be trying other donair places in the future.

Found the BOGO deal on UberEat and decided to give it a try. I ordered 2 donairs, and 4 platters, and only had to pay for 3, PLUS additional 40% discount from UberEat, this deal can’t be wrong. After I placed the order, I shared my excitement with my wife “honey, I just paid $40 for 2 donairs and 4 platters”. She asked, “are you sure it’s going to taste good? ” I quickly checked their reviews and found a strings of 1 star complaints. I thought to myself, maybe I should’ve done this before I ordered. Since it’s too late to cancel, I awaited my delivery with very low expectation. As long as my wife doesn’t yell at me after eating, it’s a pass. The food came quickly and when I opened up the boxes, it looked alright. Taste wise, definitely not the best donairs I’ve had, but it’s not bad either, considering it was delivered from 20 minutes away. With increasing cost of food, I find the portion reasonable. Even without the 40% additional discount, I would be happy to order from here again, as long as it offers BOGO

Bought from them a few times and it was good. Then I ordered today and it was a dismal amount of meat and vegetables. Nothing like the pictures. Willing to change review if they can explain to me how I got so little while expecting what’s normal

Worst donair place I’ve ever tried! I ordered the chicken plate and there was maybe about 5 tiny pieces of chicken in there with barely any rice, no sauce and some salad that had raw gross mushrooms in it. Not to mention it had 0 flavour to it. Would never order food from them ever again.

Unfortunately I have to join in and confirm what a lot of other recent reviews are saying. This is actually my 2nd time ordering in two weeks and I had issues with both, but the 2nd order was much worse. This place is providing extremely small portions of this type of food. Like many others I was enticed by the BOGO on ubereats. With that and the Uber promo it seemed like I was getting a great deal. The first time the donairs were ok, they seemed smaller than other places but were full and tasted good enough. The platter was surprising though because I ordered double meat and the food only filled about a half to 3/4 of the take out container. The meat was only one layer thick, sparse and on one side. The first time I thought it must have have been a mistake/miss on the meat. Well, I forgot about that issue and reordered a few weeks later. This time the food is even smaller portions on all fronts (donair and platter). The first time I had to fill two of my left over containers with the platters but this time I could fit both into one. The meat also seems burnt/dry. I ate a donair and did encounter some of the dried/burnt meat. Also, the donairs were so deflated that I wanted to see if they forgot the toppings or something. Turns out there is some stuff, mostly lettuce. Maybe one or two pieces of anything else I asked for. One donair was not satisfying enough compared to other places. If you need to eat two donairs and they don’t taste great then there isn’t any value anymore. The price/promo was too good to be true… think I will remember this time.

The meat in the platter salad was dry and hard to chew. The rice was hard and cold. Everything is from yesterday if not longer. And the platter came with a small piece of trash. The whole thing inedible. The pita bread was good though, Cus they didn’t make it in store.

Ordered 2 Halifax Lamb donairs with extra meat, 4 egg rolls and 2 samosa. 1 baclava. I Received 2 skinny donair without extra meat which did not taste like lamb or a Halfax donair and I am from Halifax. N. S! Actually this was the worst donair I have ever eaten anywhere with somazoas and egg rolls looking like packaged grocery store product just reheated. Very disappointing experience.

Looks like they are cheaters they didn't give the mixed meat that I ordered ordered large what I got is kids meal scammers 30 dollars in the garbage need to complain to the food department for scamming us. In terms of the Food quality, even I won't feed this to my dogs! It looks like someone has already eaten it! What a shame to have this junk restaurant in a good country like Canada! I think Canadian government is not taking food department and safety seriously especially with lot of immigrants opening restaurants to cheat customers.no wonder white people are angry due to people like this!

This is a top choice for Donair. The food is fresh and clean, displayed behind protective glass but visible to customers. It's authentic Turkish. The owner and staff are kind and attentive. The taste is wonderful. Prices are low. Portions are impressive.

We ordered two large donair platters and there was barely any food. It was very small, maybe good size for a child. They were also missing toppings that I asked for. Also the beef was some weird cheap “meat ball” like beef.couldn’t eat it
