Parksville Community Park

Excellent clean and well maintained park. Great outdoor gym and nice boardwalk. Everyone using the facilities are very friendly and happy to live in Parksville.

We loved the playground. It was so versatile. So many things to discover for the little ones. And the city keeps working on it and adding new sites. Water plays for the summer, and flush toilets that are clean and work fine. Drinking Water is also available. Loved it.

Best Park on the island, the parksville city parks crew really knock it out of the park with their care and attention to all the plants, and arboretum, it really makes this park stand out.

The park is simply amazing. The park is well equipped with a huge parking lot, picnic tables and a huge play area that is a short walk away from the beach. It is a very well maintained park
The beach is just 2mins away from the park. You can walk on the boardwalk or simply enjoy the scene and the breeze by sitting in on one of the benches. I saw a couple of food trucks around. The beach is pet friendly. So you can definitely take your pet for a walk here.

Definitely the best park we’ve ever been to for kids! Parking is limited but it’s worth the walk for an amazing playground with lots of different options, including a spray park. And a short walk to the boardwalk and beach. Kiddos loved it and the beach visit was perfect!

Nice quiet place to rest. Unless you're there for an event like the sandcastles or Canada day fireworks.

Went there with a group of seniors, parking not convenient for, they use walkers and some toilet so far away with sands, getting difficult time for seniors with disability (couple visitors asked me if there seniors are mine), so sorry for them to walk a long way. Other than that, went good on it.

Most of the equipment is new, but the waterpark is not too overwhelming to the kids that are more sensitive

Fabulous playground, tons of people walking their fur babies, a good amount of picnic tables however lots of construction around these areas right now.

Great place to take the kids for the. The playground was huge and plenty of things for the kids to play around including water fountains. Picnik benches all over the place. The sand was good and the beach was walking distance. It was packed on a late August day. A few food trucks on the side for mini doughnuts and sandwiches make it very convenient.

Lots of families out having fun, picnicking using the Waterpark etc. Some construction of new flush toilets and additional play areas underway. Beach very busy on this warm, sunny day.

Here you can find entertainment for anyone, an incredible ocean. Children's playground, volleyball courts, skatepark, exhibition of sand sculptures. Some renovation works are underway, but they do not interfere with enjoying the view

It was alot of fun for any age, the beach is right there, the park has things to play on, even a mini water park to cool off

Great place for events ie sandcastle sculpture, car shows, tennis games

Great all year round the only thing that's difficult is parking as it's limited and on events it's lacking

This is the best playground we have ever been to. It is massive, almost like 5+ playgrounds in one and it also has a small splash park. We spent 4 hours two days in a row there with our toddler and newborn. It is accessible with a stroller. The best part is that it gets shady in the morning and evening with the big trees around, and there are lots of picnic tables and benches. We also loved that there is a sandy section, and the rest is that bouncy rubber. Even though there were lots of people, it never felt crowded because it’s such a large playground. It’s only steps from the main beach and boardwalk, right beside the sandcastle competition, and they have clean restrooms and a water fountain. They also have food trucks nearby. Highly recommend.
