I’ve been coming here for my computer needs for many years. Whether it was to replace the hard drive on an old computer, replace the power adaptor for a computer or upgrade my computer - I’ve always been very satisfied with the service that I received. My options are always explained to me in a way that I can understand. I prefer to support a small business like this rather than go to the big box stores.

My laptop wasn't getting past the login screen, so I took it to PC Galore. They did a diagnostic (there was a problem with the hard drive), and gave me several options for how to proceed.   I chose to have a used hard drive installed and my files transferred to my new hard drive.   I also bought a hard drive reader from the store, in case there were any more files to transfer and/or to use in the future.

Greg resolved my issue in a couple of days, and he was really helpful with explanation, options, and pricing.   He was easy to get in touch with via text and phone. The total for my service was fair and reasonable.

My 13 year old Macbook Pro runs faster now with the new-to-me hard drive, and I think that it will last me until I decide to buy a new laptop.   I would definitely return to PC Galore for future service.

PC Galore is a gem in the neighbourhood. They are a convenient place to get all sorts of small computer parts, old and new. They were able to perform more advanced repair like soldering, which I found rare among computer repair shops. Without the proper tools like a soldering gun and spare parts, it may be impossible to do these repairs by yourself.

Did I mention that they have some super cool antique rare computers on display?

Great communication and well-priced services. Most importantly for me, they were able to save my super important files from my fried laptop. Support local!
