PDG Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics

Both of my kids visited this dental clinic since one years old. It was not pleasant experience for them. Also, each visit was such a short time compared to other dental clinic. Each visit took about less than 30 minutes. 15 minutes spent on cleaning and ten minutes for X-ray and five mins for the dentist to do a super quick check. Anabel talked so quick and you would few that she was rushing to the next patient. I would not recommend this place. Parents could hear cu they think is clean and for kids only but if you compare their service with other dental clinic, iIt is not that special. Their fees are not reasonably good. It is just gimmick in my opinion.

The dentist we spoke with was pedantic and kept repeating the same thing over and over, as if we were not capable of understanding him. I felt disrespected and manipulated by his social tactics.

It was a kid friendly location and my little one like coming to see Dr? Every time. Their staffs and dentists were great with kids and let kid feel comfortable on their visit. High recommend!

Dr. Annabel Chan is friendly, positive, and didn’t up-sell us with a bunch of extras. I, personally, love that quality in a dentist!

You need to tread lightly on addressing your clients spouse’s. When they refer to their “partner” it doesn’t mean you have to assume their sexuality. It’s offensive and disrespectful. Thank you.

I’ve been taking my daughter to PDG for the past 6 years. PDG offers a clean welcoming environment. Everyone is friendly from the Receptionists to everyone on the hygiene staff. My daughter is always at ease. Dr Ng is easy to talk to, he takes the time to listen and explain.

I have been here for years and my son is happy with the good services and nice also professional people for so long. Will recommend this office to my friends for sure!

Dr Moore and the team working on the braces were fine. Your only issues working with PDG will be with the receptionist staff. They’re incredibly rude, hangs up when they put you on hold on the phone and are incredibly passive aggressive when answering reasonable questions. Rethink where you want to get your braces and where you want to bring your children

The staff was super friendly and helpful not only on the phone but also in person. Dr. Munsie gave the best recommendation on how to manage and correcting my son’s teeth.

Great place. They are very patient and professional. My daughter enjoys going there every time.:)

They charged for polishing my daughter's teeth, when they didn't. They did x-rays, and put fluoride, and charged for almost $400.
When I see the bill, it says "polishing" so I called them and told them "they didn't brush or do any cleaning for my daughter's teeth,
they just did x-rays and then put fluoride straight as they said its clean. "
But they staff said " we always clean the teeth before fluoride, we can't do fluoride before cleaning so something should have done"

So basically they skipped cleaning her teeth and put fluoride.and charged us for the skipped treatment for nothing.and the worst thing, the staff on the phone didn't take it seriously and didn't trust me. "something should have done that's why its charged" without even checking my dentist.
I'm not coming back here again.
They charge you more than average, and do less job.

To be fair, I liked their waiting room, kids play area was nice:)

Excellent experience! From the lovely receptionist Sylvia to the assistant and the gentle and caring doctor Munsie!

We love Dr. Munsie at the PDG in Richmond. She was so kind and gentle with my 14 month old daughter and I learned a lot about toddler dental care and progress as well. I couldn’t recommend Dr. Munsie strongly enough. We’re very happy we went with someone specialized in children’s dentistry. The staff are all super friendly and knowledgeable as well and most importantly, kind. A great experience overall and a great start and relationship to the dentist for my daughter.

Excellent experience, easy to communicate with, easy to find/park. Friendly and experienced staff, all services available in same building, too!

Dr Ng was able to calm down my anxious daughter. I’m very pleased with the visit. Looking forward to future visit.

My son and I have had great experiences here with Dr. Carter Ng and Leah and Melissa. They are all SO positive and engaging with him and have a great sense of how to talk to little ones. The hygenists and assistants are so gentle and great at explaining the process to a 3-year-old. Dr. Ng takes his time doing the checkup, gives extremely clear explanations, and treats young kids with so much respect and care. My son is legitimately THRILLED for his dentist visits! He would like to stay there all day!:)

Friendly practice and truly care for what’s best for the child and family. Very child centred. Not one of those practices that are overly progressive and just want to make money. Thank you!
