Once again the kind people working here made us feel very cared for. Everything was explained and transparent.

We took our dog there because he was consistently licking his foot. They prescribed him with antibiotics and pain killer. We waited until the medication was completed but our dog is not getting better and still licking his feet or scratches his ears. I was stressed and called the vet, asked them to talk to the veterinarian and call me back but they never did. Poor customer service especially when our dog wasn’t feeling alright.

I rarey do personal reviews, this vet office was special.very clean. Staff very helpful and helpful answering my questions. The vet on duty is really personable answered many questions with no bais. He gave us a few great options and referrals. We will return to this clinic.side note* we went with 3 dogs.

Always available, and treat you like family. It's great to have a vet that's not just looking to loosen your wallet.

I had a really fantastic experience taking my kitten here for a Spay/Neuter. The staff were all super friendly and really awesome with my kitten. Dr Virk was similarly fantastic.

Place is a scam, over charge, won’t re prescribe the same medicine for a reaccuring issue without coming in and paying for a visit.funny how you can do that as a human but not for a pet.you have to pay for the visit just to be prescribed medicine.the first time i went they tried to charge me 500 for bloodwork and other tests for a literal cut on my dogs foot, thankfully the front desk girl explained that i didn’t need to pay for all of the suggestions but the vet sure wanted me to pay! I’ll take my money and my dog back to our old vet an hour away before i come back here.to the reply below, my initial visit was for a cut on my dogs foot which your vet wanted to charge me 500.00 for, there’s no worming your way out of that.the exact same thing happened again and we found a diff vet who cleaned his paw free of charge and prescribed meds no issue.the same vet i currently go to you can call and they prescribe over the phone no issue.own up to it.we did not have a pleasant interaction, you clearly don’t remember the visit.the only pleasant thing is as the girl at the front desk explaining i didn’t need to pay for all that the vet wanted to charge me.scam.there also was no aggressive interaction as this was over the phone.liars.

Money Grab. I took my dog here to get fast treatment for pneumonia. I knew it was pneumonia because it happened a few months earlier. The vet insisted I do all these tests (multiple X-rays, blood work) and 1200 later I left. She got diagnosed with pneumonia which I already knew. When my dog first had pneumonia a few months earlier that vet only charged me 680. Completely disheartening.

A review in 2022 never heard back from this clinic. I’d recommend going to Albatros in Langley.

I had a very strange and disconcerting experience with this clinic this past weekend. I brought my dog in because he was vomiting bile, not eating, and constipated. I was quoted $1700 for diagnostics that I later received at another clinic for $1000 less on the same day. The communication was beyond weird — the vet met with me and examined my dog and then disappeared into the back room. The (very kind and polite) veterinary assistant appeared with this astronomical quote for what amounted to iv fluids, an abdominal x ray, and blood work. I asked to start with the abdominal x ray, so she appeared with another quote for $1200, including $300 to have the x ray interpreted by an offsite radiologist. We were wanting to x ray to check for a possible foreign body and/or severe constipation, so I do not think a boarded radiologist is required yet they were unwilling to budge on this point. I am happy to pay for what my pet needs, but this situation was so strange and uncomfortable my gut told me to leave and take the dog elsewhere, which is exactly what I did. I asked the assistant the cost for the exam and handed her cash to cover that amount and left. She followed me out of the clinic and returned my cash. I can only assume she did this at the vet’s request so he would not have to write out a record of the visit for the exam fee alone, but I cannot be sure.

While I understand diagnostics are required and can be costly, this approach the vet wanted to take amounted to let’s throw everything under the sun at this dog all at once and see what sticks, rather than the approach I am used to taking which is to start somewhere and work from there depending on results. It is concerning that the diagnostics were priced so incredibly high, with lots of little charges adding up. I have had horses for many years and am fully aware that an x ray is not $1200 so something very fishy was going on here. I was disappointed because I had taken my dog to this clinic back in 2017 for an emergency and at that time the care and communication were excellent.

I will not use this clinic again and will actively discourage friends from going there also. It’s unfortunate because I thought so highly of them until this happened.

I can highly recommend peace arch hospital the staff there are wonderful my pup loves them all the vets are great there really have the best hearts for the animals I have had my dog neutered there and all his shots and some other things too they are only vet I will take my pup too

The day my puppy collapsed was the most horrifying thing I've had to go through especially as I am a first time puppy parent. Luckily Dr Ghuman and Dr Virk were there on hand as soon as I rushed Milo in. I cannot thank the whole team enough with the amount love and care they have provided Milo. It is because of them that Milo is still with me today. They team are understanding and very polite. They explain everything thoroughly and if I ever have any other questions, they will always take the time to help. I trust Milo with Peace Arch Veterinary Hospital and I'm glad that Milo loves everyone there too. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for extraordinary care for their pet. The past week, my cat was acting up, so we decided to take him to the vet. Peace Arch Vet is really amazing. When I first read the reviews online, some said that this vet was a scam, but it really is NOT. Everyone was so nice to us, and my cat got a diagnosis. The prices also are fair. They also gave us time to talk and explained things thoroughly. Thanks to everyone there who helped us! (Side note: I am not associated with this hospital at all, and this review is based on my own experience)

I don't think I can go back here honestly. There are a couple of reasons, including I dont think they do proper check ups. Like we brought our kitten in yesterday and today we found he has fleas, which was not mentioned to us. But the thing that bugs me the MOST is that even when talking about the grief I feel for losing one of my cats recently, they keep pushing the bloody pet insurance. Literally " I think this might help with the grief" and handed me a pamphlet for pet insurance. Then we got email after email that night about bloody pet insurance. Like holy hell, I don't think I can go back here.

BEWARE! First and last visit! June 2022
It was our puppy first check up. Front desk girl leads us to the back to fill out paperwork. No problem. She then tries to sell me insurance before anything?
Told her I have already through another company thanks anyhow.
She says after paintwork done, okay now we’re taking your puppy to the back. I reply, can we come too? She turns from nice to #%^* and tells me no it’s not how they do things, Covid… and if we don’t like it go somewhere else. Just like that. I asked why the hostility towards us. It’s our first time here.

Out of nowhere we are belittled and scorned for merely asking to participate in our pups first visit? I’ve owned pets before and always got to participate, especially a first time check up!

I ask if we can speak to the vet, she says he overheard the conversation being had and has decided he isn’t interested in seeing our pup!? !? ! Just like that? !

What we are is very confused over is why it was a huge ordeal to even ask such a question, then followed by the 360 degree attitude, demeaning, snide snotty little (you know what) by both the front desk girl and the vet who hid in the back anyhow…. The visit lasted 5 minutes.

My sons first vet experience with his new puppy was overshadowed by the hostile treatment he witnessed because mom asked if we could go back with puppy. Shameful and very confusing?

They don’t care about the welfare of the pet as our pup needed a visit over some allergy reactions I presume he was having. (FYI Grandview vets will see us tonight instead, better hours and fees anyhow)

They then told US to leave? !
Nothing I did warranted their behaviour towards us. Nothing. Inexcusable

I’m perplexed that our society and local businesses operate with such malice towards the public.
Clearly this vet is does not have animals best interest and heaven forbid you ask to come along in the back!

All good, rather not spend the next 10-12 years dealing with a holes of society who are supposed to keep our new addition healthy.

I gave it a two because when I took my girl friends dog a pit Bull in they fixed the ears issue so they got a star for that, they also got a star for being polite. But when I take my cat in to fix the cat issues, they said it looks the same as the dog issues for the ear and it’ll cost $300. That’s a complete lie because even a person with a short memory span could easily tell it isn’t the same issue. Im half brown so I can say this, the brown guys who works there that gives the cats exams etc, likes to scam people after that. Also each exam you do cost $40. Not only this place lies and is a scam, they charge a lot and I don’t suggest you to take your animal here. They act nice to you in person but stab you in the back.

We highly recommend this vet hospital. My cat has recently had surgery here and they are wonderful and helpful people. They were super reasonable with prices and they put our cat first and not the money!

BE AWARE, all "5 star" reviews are by staff and family. Absolute MONEY GRABERS, and if you criticize them the front staff refuses to call the dr and rudely asks you to leave. MONEY MONEY MONEY hungary.

They won’t take a VERY EXPENSIVE unopened bag of dog food back.
It makes my dog itchy which they said was impossible and wouldn’t refund my money.
Back to finding an honest vet out there if anyone knows of one.

I love coming here. The staff take such amazing care of my animals. I've had to take my senior dog in a few times for senior emergencies and they've been wonderful with him every time.
They are also wonderful with my newest addition/baby kitten. I won't take my animals anywhere else.

Worst Vet I have been to. Very Poor service, unprofessional Drs who are not reliable and responsible for anything but to find a way to charge their client.

This vet doesn't really care about the health of your pet!

Don't event waste your time. This place is nothing but finding ways to get money out of clients.

The service at this place is incredible! Not with just one or two staff members but the entire team that works here. I’ve been here three times helped by 5 or 6 different staff members and all them have been incredibly kind and patient in explaining everything to me as a new pet owner. All my kittens appointments, vaccinations and surgery have gone tremendously well. Absolutely love this place and I would highly recommend them!

1400 quote for minor bite to cats lip. She maybe just needed iv or antihistamine at most not xray and blood work that was invoiced. When I entered no one was in the front room I had to.say hello 3 times and someome came finally then I was asked if I had an appointment when clearly its an emergency. I brought her home and cared for her myself. What a scam

This vets office turned a lady away who had Found a cat hit by a car and left struggling on the side of the road. What kind of inhumane veterinary office does something like this? Thank GOODNESS there's another vets office down the street who actually cares about the wellbeing of an animal rather than the financial aspect of things! DO NOT GO HERE! Shame on you!

I wanted to be able to write a raving review about this vet because we live close by and we had to do an emergecy visit on the long weekend when our dog broke his toe. However, our experience was far from what we were hoping. We met with the Vet, Dr. Ghuman and the vet assistants- receptionists. Dr. Ghuman told us he'd need to do several x-rays for our dog's spine, his hip, his leg, even though it was clear our dog's toe was not right. It was bent off to the side and completely out of line with the rest of his paw. So, finally Dr. Ghuman agreed to do a couple of X-rays of his foot. Yes, it came back that our dog had a broken toe. Okay, so then Dr. Ghuman starts talking about surgery and metal wires, etc and we said, well let's just get our dog stabilized and see what the surgeon says. Dr. Ghuman says, my sister is cutting your dog's nails right now. The other vet assistant comes out and says, I'm not his sister and thinks the comment is odd. Then Dr. Ghuman says he won't have any results of how bad our dogs toe is until the next day. A long time passes, I finally go in and ask what's going on. I'm guided to the back, where I ask Dr. Ghuman several times if he's going to do a splint, because he's said he would, and give the injections (one for pain and one for inflammation?) He finally does but starts to put the splint on the wrong foot before one of the girls tells him it's the wrong foot. Dr. Ghuman then says, we have to come back the next day to have our dog sedated and kept in the hospital for the entire day because there's no other way to do it. I have a bad feeling from everything and question this guy's integrity, so we make some calls and find out that our dog doesn't need sedation at all- or a day long hospital visit and we take our dog to Fraser Valley Hospital where he get's top care for 1/3 of the cost. Speaking of cost. Dr. Ghuman has added a few for everything he does. So, he has an admin fee, he has an x-ray fee on top of an fee for x-rays, he has a fee for prescriptions and a fee for giving you the prescriptions. There's $130 in fees that are random fees he's created just to make sure you pay him a little extra on top of all his high fees. The final straw that caused me to write this review was when our dog spit out two days of doses of his pain med and medication. We were on a trip in Vernon where Vet's are booked solid for 30 days- without appointments. So, we were told by our normal vet (who we LOVE) to contact Dr. Ghuman and request the perscription be sent over to the vet here in Vernon who would fill the two day worth of doses that our dog missed. Dr. Ghuman tells Meghan (a lovely receptionist who try's to stand up for Dr. Ghuman, and say, it's not our fault your dog didn't take his medication.) Says, Dr. Ghuman says, no sorry. You didn't bring your dog back to me for the splint so I won't fill the two days worth of prescriptions. Dr. Ghuman actually doesn't put the animals first as he states in all his sales messages inside his clinic and on his answering machine. He puts the dollar first. So sad. Please be very wary of this Vet. He's not telling the truth and he is vindictive. I recommend Fraser Valley Hospital in Langley instead.

After going to a couple other vets I learned that this vet, specifically “Dr” Virk doesn’t know much other than how to write up a bill.

P. S. Don’t bother writing a response. I should’ve read the reviews before coming here since instead of owning up to your f ups, you just get defensive.

Best veterinarians around! Both Dr Ghuman and Dr Virk have been taking care of my senior dog for the past few years with great care. They always provide her with a thorough exam even if she had just been there a week prior. They also always provide me an estimate before proceeding with any treatment which I really like (never any hidden costs). All their staff has always been so helpful as well. Taylor and Megan are so lovely and have been there since we started. They are always on top of my little girls health and following up with me. Will continue to come here for life with all of my fur babies

Having taken my dog and my elderly dad's dog to these vets since they opened, I have always been very pleased with the kind, caring and responsive attention they have provided to our pets. When the sad day came to day goodbye to my 17 year old chihuahua Nacho a couple years ago, the entire team were very compassionate and empathetic.
Tomorrow we are bringing home a new puppy and I will definitely be taking our new girl to see them.

Great place to go for your pets health, I went today with my mom to have an ill cat checked out, and they knew better then a previous vet we visited the day before, unfortunately kitty wasn't healthy and had to be put to sleep in the end. The vet doctor was very nice and sympathetic. I recommended this vet to my mom, I would recommend to anyone. They're great.

Have had a great experience everytime I have brought my dogs here. Staff are very friendly and do not rush out.

They did my lil stink bottoms cremation services.they sent a condolences card and they are so special honestly helped that hellish time go smoothly.thank you all

My husband and I have been going to this Vet for 2 years now for our two dogs (American Bulldog and a Havanese/Pom). We visit this vet a lot because our American Bulldog has a lot of issues. The staff and doctors at this vet have been incredibly amazing and I can't say enough positive things about them. We have always had a positive experience. They go above and beyond their duties. The best part about this vet is they are honest with you and will give you a straight answer. Dr. Virk and Ghuman have been amazing to us and our dogs. They are always available to take your calls and concerns. We love TAYLOR because she has a passion for what she does and always helps us out. As you know vet visits are never fun because they are costly and time consuming, but the fact that they are so sweet and caring to our dogs is all that matters.

Side note - Both of our dogs love the people at the vet so much that they get excited to go to the vet! Lol

The staff was ok. Veterinarian had a bit of a hard time finding a right way to explain the situation, causing more confusion.

Took my devil cat there to get his nails trimmed, Taylor was able to keep him calm and got the job done with Megan's assistance. Now he can't scratch my eyes out!

Honestly they have horrible bedside manners. They may be the “best” or cheapest facility in white rock. But that doesn’t mean much when they are disrespectful to you and your animals. I don’t recommend this place at all. I really recommend driving your pet to murrayville animal hospital if you want someone who genuinely will take care of your family members.

First experience and very good.needed care for my aged cat and not all clinics in our area are open on Sunday. They got me in within two hours of calling and provided excellent care.which is continuing on day two.also very good and as attentive to my needs as my little Grey's care.very important!

They are the most affordable, I'm giving it 5 stars because they have helped my dog and not overcharged me. If they can't proceed with something they do their best to help you go to another clinic.

Great service and staff that were willing and able to accommodate my dog on short notice. Dr Virk was clear in explaining the possibilities and staff were very informative in walking me through the process and what needed to be done. Fortunately my little guy is ok, but if anything happens again I would definitely take him back here.

How is it that I get charged a dispensing fee of $5.95 when it is the actual manufacturer's bottle and still has the safety seal on it? Plus.the perscription went up $20! Are you friggen kidding me? !

Not a good experience. Payed $1000 to diagnose my dogs hip and walking problems. Never got a call back with the results. Called a week later and told the vet was busy and call back.nothing. Same at one month and 3 months. Now getting a copy of the results and going to another vet for diagnosis. A waist of time and money. Search for another vet!

I have made several special trips from Vancouver Island, specifically to bring my pets to this office. I've been nothing but impressed by their prices, cleanliness, and most of all, how much care they offer our fur babies. I had to have my 20 yr old dog Brodie given euthanasia to eliviate his suffering.he was not able to be transported at the time.the vet and his assistant came all the way to Langley to conduct the procedure for me.they were kind and caring and explained the steps as we went along.they took his body and over saw private cremation for me and in just a few days they had Brodie's ashes in a nice boxed urn ready for me to pick up.it cost me $650.and was worth the money!

This is an excellent veterinary hospital. My German Shepherd, Luna, has receieved EXCELLENT care here ever since we stepped foot in this clinic. Our previous vet had told us that Luna tore her CCL (cranial cruciate ligament) and required surgery. Because our old vet seemed shady, I asked a close friend for a personal referral, and she told me Peace Arch had saved her dog from terrible seizures so I trusted her advice. They prepped Luna for surgery, and realized that nothing was torn so they did not go ahead with the surgery. They did remove a wart from her thigh since it had already been shaved. We drive here from NORTH VANCOUVER which is over an hour away for us, because of the continuously outstanding service. Taylor is amazing, and she calls us often and always gets us an appointment when we need to come in. The two doctors are very caring and skilled. They call us every 2 days to follow up with Luna and how she’s doing. We feel that our dog is in safe hands here and that the staff at this clinic treat her like their own pet. I trust them very much. Thank you guys so much for all your help and support. I’m so lucky to have found Peace Arch Veterinary Hospital!

Took a 3-month-old kitten who hadn’t had a bowel movement in three days, and we feared a blockage. Dr. Burke suggested an x-ray to check. Altogether this cost $400, which we though was okay considering it included a consult ($75) for the x-ray result. We were told the doctor would call in a few hours.no call. I called to check if there was anything wrong, and was told that the doctor had to perform an emergency c-section. Fair enough, although perhaps for $400, someone might have called me to let me know earlier. I was told the doctor would call by 10: 00 the next morning.no call. We’re still worried about our kitten and have received no feedback, so I call after 10: 00am and am reminded by the receptionist again about the c-section of the previous night. She tells me the x-ray showed no problem (I suppose that’s my $75 consult). She adds that they’ll call the next day to check up on our kitten.no call.

I had gotten a new kitten and BEFORE we took her to the vet we had gone in person to the vet and asked for a quote.we found it was well priced and it was close by so we did end up going to take her in for her vaccinations.that was a mistake, we had paid more than what the quote said and when brought her in today for the booster shots and we actually paid more! Than the first vaccinations and they gave her treatmenats we didn’t want we are now transferring her to another vet were we take our other to cats too and we found out today that the other vet was cheaper and we DONT have to pay for a consultation which was $39 here and free at the other vet.

I would never even consider stepping foot in this repulsive establishment again, they caused my beautiful cat so much trauma for what should be a routine procedure (spaying). The stitches they gave her originally were improper and loose, and they sized her cone incorrectly, so she ripped them out the first night and I was consoling a confused kitten all night and holding her stitches together. The next day they restitched her, charged $50 to fix their mistake, and wrapped tape around her feet saying that she must have gotten them out with her feet which was confirmed by another vet could not have been the case. She could barely walk for a week because of the tape, and it was incredibly painful for her to have them removed. Hearing her cries as I removed it broke my heart. DO NOT take your fur babies here, please.
