Peanut's Bubble Tea 花生米

I went there for Reddish flavor wheel cake. The flavor was very close to what I had back home. The owner could adjust the sugar level based on the customer's request. Very nice and friendly.

Located on the second floor within the Richmond Public Market is a stall that sells old style bubble tea. There are many food restaurants surrounding it but this bubble tea spot is very popular with patrons. There are many varieties of milk tea to choose from and prices are very reasonable. You can choose ice and sugar levels. There are also snacks available. The original milk tea flavour was nice with more milk flavour than tea. Packaging was very simple. Overall, a good place to get your pearl milk tea fix in Richmond.

One of the cheapest place you can get bubble tea! I personally love the soft boba texture. Their flavours aren’t great, so I usually stick to original. LOVE the wheel cakes.

The proprietress has a gentle and kind attitude, the papaya milk is delicious, and the wheel cakes are delicious. I come here to buy them occasionally.

Peanuts is definitely a Milk Tea and Wheel Cake gem in Richmond Public Market and Richmond City. I have come here for some time now and I am never disappointed. The Wheel Cakes come in a variety of flavors and are made fresh daily and the Milk Teas are deliciously good. All though I have not tried a lot of their Milk Tea menu I have have never been disappointed. I highly recommend the Coconut Milk Tea, Coffee Milk Tea, Peppermint Milk Tea and the chocolate Milk Teas. All of these flavors have been amazing and I am always happy to come here for a drink. They have a large menu with lots of great flavors and something for everyone. The staff are kind and friendly and have good customer service. They seem to really care about their business. The Wheel Cakes are also delicious and something I enjoy as a treat once in a while so it's even more speacil to me to eat. I am always pleased when I come here and I am greatful for the times I have had here. Also their logo is just great and a joy to see. If you are looking for a hidden gem that will suit your needs Peanuts is the place to go to. I highly recommend Peanuts to people and it is a business worth coming to long term. Cheap bubble tea shop in the Richmond public market. Located on the right after entering from the second level from the parking lot. After a short line up (they are quick) you can get your bbt in under 10 mins usually. Tried the taro before and it was very basic.

Gave it another try because where can you get bbt for under $6 nowadays. Got the guava flavor and it tasted bitter and off. The pearls were regular and not super fresh tasting. They sell mini pastry with various fillings as well which were ok. Even though the drinks were cheap not worth it to me.

I must order a few drinks every time I come here. I have been drinking for many years and they all taste good. The wheel cakes are also the children’s favorite. The price is really good!

Good selection of drinks and desserts at a reasonable price. There are usually lines but the service is quick and efficient.

Is this normal? Noticed the milk curdled when almost done the drink…and did have to use the bathroom afterwards.

Peanut's Bubble Tea is our go to for bubble tea. Probably the longest standing bubble tea place in Metro Vancouver. That deserves a 5 star in itself. Almost 30 years in business and still going strong. Nothing fancy here just straight up bubble tea and Taiwanese wheel cakes. Great combination. Cheap prices and great flavors. Cash only.

Come here and have a taste of Richmond history. It's not often you can say that as there are very few of anything in Richmond that has been around as long as Peanuts. If there are less than 10 people in line you’ve hit the jackpot. Original owners from the 90’s and they are the friendliest. The quality of the tea is actually pretty good. It lacks some of the trendier options you see nowadays but when it comes to classic styles, it easily trumps Chatime. $4for a milk tea. Matcha Slush is around $5. Can't beat it.

I will never go to this place again. The owner (wife) is very rude. I called ahead and no one answered so I left a message to order ahead for the wheel pastry. Got there and the daughter asked her mom and she said no I got no call. So I said that is fine I will just take what you have. I said can I order 10 of your custard and 10 or your red bean and 6 of your taro. She no you can order 16 total and it will take 20 minutes. I am like I am ok with the time frame. My mom asked if she could order the other flavors and she said no only 16 total. The boss lady said do you want it or not, I am busy. I was about to say no, don’t want it. I paid for the 16 and when I got the items, the custard ones tasted awful. They tasted sour and with a medicine type of flavor.
I don’t see the appeal. Taiwan’s one are better and customer service is much better.

My favourite bubble tea spot in Vancouver! A huge assortment of flavours, including fresh fruit options though the classic pearl milk tea is perfection. Wheel cakes are a must try, especially when fresh off the pan. Owners and staff are extremely welcoming and efficient in taking orders. Best priced bubble tea in town. Also MEDIUM SIZED TAPIOCA. Enough said. The only place you need to try in Richmond Public Market

Its great, wish I'm younger. I get bloated every time after I drink it. So i have to reduce the times I go there.

The greatest all-time bubble tea place! We have been going for decades now and have consistently enjoyed their bubble tea and che lung bings! We love their fresh fruit slushes, their normal teas and their taro (both artificial and real) slushes!
