I am visiting from Sydney, Australia, and had the misfortune to break the frame of my sunglasses.but the VERY good fortune to find Trevor at Pearl Vision in the Hillside Mall. Trevor was so friendly, obliging and helpful and he not only kindly fixed the arm but also checked the other one for me as well. And then he gave them a polish! His staff are dreading the day he retires so I'd like to start a petition to prevent this from happening. Trevor.your staff needs you. We all need you. Please don't retire. I might need you again! I took my sunglasses in as they were missing a little screw, and the lens had popped out. Not only did they willingly replace the screw and tighten them up, but they give them a good clean as well. All for no charge. Excellent service. Would recommend.

Best glasses store in town, hands down. Carol gave me the best service, she stopped at nothing to help me pick out the finest frames, and the fitting was fast and accurate (they have a cool digital measuring thing that does science). She answered all my questions, and boy howdy did I have a lot. The science behind these glasses is wild. I got progressive lenses for the first time and she helped me know what to expect to adjust to the new prescription. I picked them up and she adjusted them perfectly so they don't pinch my head. They're transitions too, so now I'm protecting my eyes while seeing more clearly than ever before. I can see a fly on a billboard like my dad used to say.

Dr Megan Hildebrand dilated my eyes and referred me to a retinal specialist for a potential retinal tear. Without her top notch care I would have no retinas. They also gave me some cool plastic sunglasses to help with my dilated eyes sensitivity to light. Thanks Dr Hildebrand for saving my retinas. Also I got some goop to put in my eyes because I had some irritation in there. I don't like doing it, but it's good for me.

Over many years my family and I have had great service at Pearle Vision in Hillside Mall. All staff are very friendly and service oriented. Recently, I've had problems finding frames that fit properly with my hearing aids and which don't irritate my skin condition. Trevor, the manager, has been the soul of kindness and patience in helping me find the right fitting frames. Pearle Vision stands behind their commitment to client satisfaction 110%. Highly recommended!

Several weeks ago I went to Pearle Vision in Hillside Mall to see about getting my first ever pair of progressives. The customer service was amazing. A woman named Carol-Anne did everything she could to provide me with many options within the price range I could afford. She was incredibly patient with me and made me feel like I was important the entire time I was there. I will definitely be going back to this location for future pairs of glasses.

The best customer service I have ever received! They didn’t try to talk me into anything, they took their time, answered all of my questions and my glasses are perfect!

I cannot say enough great things about this place! Being my son’s first experience needing glasses, I felt quite overwhelmed. But the staff go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. They stand behind their products and provide first class customer service. From the second we bought our first pair of glasses, Carol has taken care of everything. She recommended a protection plan which was the best advise for my son’s needs. She remembers us every time we go in, greets us with a smile and exercised so much patience & kindness during the entire process. This transition could have been very painful but Carol has been in our corner every step of the way!

GREAT experience at this location. I was on a short holiday in Victoria and stopped in just the 'see' if I could find new frames. Well it didn't take long and bingo. RayBans to the rescue! CAROLE was able to explain the process of getting new frames and the buy one get one free option. I will now be getting my very first pair of RX sunglasses. And they will ship to my home in Kamloops. Clean, relaxing store, helpful and patient staff, especially Carol-Ann who went above and beyond for me. Helped that there was a good sale special as well. I believe the quality of their glasses are good. I like their first year replacement warranty which is very inexpensive to replace glasses no matter what you do to them (good for kids especially and clutzes like me). Thank you for a very positive experience and glasses we are happy with.

Recently went there to replace my main pair of prescription glasses on a short notice. Standard quoted time is two weeks but they had mine ready for pickup in 4 days! The new pair fits perfectly with no issues so far. I will get future frames done with P. V.for sure!

These people are fabulous. From the moment you walk in the store, you feel comfortable. The staff are very knowledgeable and make you feel at ease and couldn't have been more helpful in my selection. Same thing applied when I went to go pick up my glasses, again excellent customer service. I would highly recommend them.

The store is impeccably clean, staff are very knowledgeable, fairly good selection of frames and of course two for the price of one is always helpful. I have shopped at Pearle Vision long before they were Pearle Vision. They used to be called Shoppers Optical.

I highly recommend Trevor and his team at Pearle Vision. I an Inuk and have a certain kind of insurance through NIHB and Trevor was the only person who looked into direct billing for NIHB in all of Victoria BC. I had called about 20 different optometrists in Victoria and he was the only one who took the time to help.

The two girls working in the store were super friendly and helped me find new glasses which I haven’t had to do in years. They made it practically painless!

I brought a broken pair of sunglasses here on the weekend. One of the nose pieces had broken off. These sunglasses were not purchased here however, they fixed the nose piece at no cost. I was shocked and will definitely be coming back again soon! Thank you so much!

Pearle Vision has a great selection of frames at reasonable prices. Their staff are friendly and knowledgeable; they stay engaged with their customers during the entire process of recommending, trying on and buying new eyewear. I will be back!

I dropped in today to have some adjustments made to my fifty (50) year old glasses! Trevor, the store manager took about 1/2 hour of his time to fiddle around with the two pairs that I had brought in and did an excellent job in solving the problem that I had with them. I was very surprised when he declined my offer to pay for his time - even when I insisted (I mean COVID is really hurting these small shops!). Anyway, I really appreciated the gesture and also felt that he would provide good advice when I am looking for new frames. Highly recommended!

I am very pleased with the service I received at Pearl Vision. I had not made an appointment to look at frames but was able to try frames after a short wait. The young lady who helped me was excellent in bringing frames that may suite. Once I had decided what I wanted, the paperwork was done, questions were answered and I would get a call within two weeks. Eight days later my glasses were ready, an appointment was made for the following day. Once again the service was excellent. The glasses were adjusted to fit properly and I was on my way. I would definately recommend Pearl Vision to friends and family.

The selection of glasses was excellent. I found a pair of Ralph Lauren glasses that I didn't see anywhere else. I love how you can bill your medical plan directly. I received a great sale price. My glasses arrived 3 days ahead of schedule. I would recommend buying your next pair of glasses at Pearl Vision Hillside.

Trevor, the manager of Pearle Vision, Hillside Mall in Victoria was instrumental in helping my elderly father get new glasses while he was in the hospital. Trevor went above and beyond visiting my Dad in the hospital to check his prescription, bringing him an array of frames to choose from. When the glasses were ready, Trevor once again visited my Dad in the hospital to ensure they worked well for him. As my fathers only child, I live out of town and was relying on Trevors' expertise and big heart. My Dad now has a good quality of life again and is able to read his books and walk safely. Thank you Trevor!

My son had broken the nose piece off a few months after we bought our glasses there. I was finally able to get in to the store 45 mins b4 my wife needed to be picked up for work. They explained it was not covered. I had brought my son's other pair with me that were in good shape except for the lenses which were scratched. The employee did offer to change the lenses for me which was great! He took both pairs and I asked if it was ok to take my son to eb games which is right across. He is 13 and had some games to trade in. I was told no problem and said I would be right back. I came back and stood there for 10-15 minutes waiting to pick up my sons glasses while he dealt with someone else. When I finally interrupted due to having to give myself enough time to go get wife. I then realized he had not touched the glasses due to the fact I left the store. He had moved on to next customer. I know he was being helpful to fix my sons glasses but if he said he was going to do something he should have. Good customer service like dealing with what he said he would do before moving to next person in store. If I had stood there i am sure he would have done it first. I shouldn't have to stand over him. I have 3 kids I shouldn't need to do it to get proper service. Wasted my time which like most I don't have much of. I may go back and give them a chance to redeem themselves. Will post after with results. Not a good first impression
