Hopefully the renovations help, copper coil has no flavor and these guys have double smoked humane meats. Servers kind of ignore you but the food is worth it

Can’t speak of their food, the few drinks I’ve had their were kinda pricey compared to other pubs prices, but the karaoke nights and Squamish Punk events are chefs kiss! Great atmosphere, good memories!

Asked for the side of veggies tested as ashes, the beef brisket too salty. Their bbq sauce is just ketchup and mustard mixed with some spicy

Super impressed. When all I was looking for was a great homemade burger and a cold brew in an atmosphere that wasn't so loud one can't hear, or a fast food joint where real meat isn't a thing, this was spot on.
Food was ahhhmazing. Smash burgers, real thick cut fresh bacon, dripping with flavour and specialty sauces.
The server was hands down a welcome blessing. Great conversation, got everything bang on, and was fast, helpful even helped point us to some local must see spots.
The atmosphere was great too. Quiet little country bar with promise of live bands and a bit more action on a night that isn't Tuesday.
Prices were great too. Definitely much better than they were in Whistler, and just 1/2 hour drive away.
If I was in the area longer, this would be the place to eat every meal.

The driest, nastiest fried chicken I’ve ever had. I don’t think they change the frying oil much here. Cutlery showed up with food stains.

The only redeeming factor was that the waitresses were kind.

Overall, no clue how a place like this has a 4.2 star rating. Likely many fake reviews

Seat yourself but order from the counter. No one checked if the orders were correct. My special order specs were not followed but we’d waited long enough and I didn’t want to hold up the group. The bbq that one of us ordered was apparently very good. My burger was a touch dry and the Mac and cheese was surprisingly sweet?

Good favour and texture on the BBQ. The spicy mustard sauce was amazing. Good prices on whiskey.

Nice location in downtown Squamish (street only parking). Had this on our bucket list for awhile & we were excited to finally try them. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to our expectations.
While we don't mind paying more these days, we do expect the food to be worth it. It just wasn't. The decor is cool and the seating is laid back and welcoming.the food let us down.

Travelling thru Squamish and wanted an early supper. Beer was good but was the only positive. You have to order from from staff person at counter and prepay (including tip). While beef brisket sandwich was the special, the meat was barely lukewarm, contained fat grizzle, and was dry. Potatoe salad tasted strange and it looked like some previously frozen spinach had been mixed in and so salad tasted "unusual". Only service was plate dropped off at table and server never came back after that. Hot day but water not offered or served. Accordingly she was overtipped based on service. While I thought a local slow roasted bbq sandwich would be a great meal I was disappointed.

Always fantastic. Open Mike night on Thursday with Kostaman- original Whistler og. I always leave full, spoilt and satistified. Always upping their menu, homemade iced tea and lemonade. Good parking, easy to find.

Super tasty and fast service! Got the beef brisket sandwich. Tons of seating inside and outside, and the wait time was almost zero. Will definitely be coming back

Ribs and wings were excellent. Out brisket was really dry. The Caesar was good too. Loved that they have these long tables so our group of 9 could sit all together

We were excited to see this open in Squamish. The pulled pork was very good with awesome flavour. The hush puppies sadly were cery dense. Nice service and cool set up.

My bf loves his meat and I’m a vegetarian. I called ahead to check the vegi options and confirmed there were 2 non meaty dishes.
Ordered food from bar - a là canteen style. Still paid a lot in tips. For zero service.
Food was served all together on a tray. My vegi burger was on top of 3 pieces of fatty cold beef. I complained and when I got another (?) burger my bf had finished his dinner (was a very small portion for a lot of $$) the vegi burger tasted meaty. WILL NEVER GO BACK.

Terrible. They forgot our order, and when I approached to ask after 30 minutes, they didn’t even apologize after admitting the order was missing. The lady at the til said “I just started my shift and one of the cooks just walked out. ”

As a customer we are not responsible for conflicts within your establishment. We don’t need an excuse - we just want an apology. We just asked for our refund and left because our toddlers got hungry and I wasn’t in on waiting another 10-15 minutes.

Terrible service. We drove out to Squamish for Peckinpah after experiencing great service from the Gastown location.

The McDonalds was much friendly with better service.

Half rack of St Louis ribs should have 6 bones, not 4. You're getting 3 half racks out of a full 12 bone rack? This place also seems to specialize in bourbon whiskey they have quite the selection of quality whiskeys and bourbon, but without an experienced bartender on duty on a long weekend, you'd best steer clear of the $13 whiskey sour. I had high hopes for this place and will probably give it another shot in a month or so. Hopefully they'll have more staff on, I felt bad for the lone waitress who was trying to do everything all on her own.

This was a disappointment. There was only one server doing all the work by herself. The bartender wasn’t in either which meant we couldn’t get our drinks until after our food. When we did get our food, there was no taste in my Mac n cheese, and the wings were so dry. The fried chicken on the Mac n cheese had no flavor at all and I had to question it was even cooked fully. I also ordered a whiskey sour, but since the bartender was not in, my drink was not made right and very difficult to even get down. The whiskey sour was also HALF full and it costed $13! Wouldn’t recommend and the owner or manager definitely needs to step in.

The platters for 2 people is enough for the next 2 days. Very tasty. Draft beer is delicious too.

First of all when you order up front the machine wants you to tip 18% which is ridiculous.

They messed up on my husbands sandwich. He has an allergy that they forgot to accommodate making us wait another half hour.

Mac and cheese is like macaroni soup. There was no broiled or stringy cheese like Mac and cheese should be.

Food is overall overpriced and small portions.

Ribs - Loved the ribs. If you like your ribs falling off the bone, you might not like these. I think ribs that fall off the bone are great for sandwiches, but I personally prefer my ribs with a little chew to them, like they make them here. The meat is still very tender just not falling apart. Ribs like this also usually have more flavour and texture variety b/c they probably didn't wrap them so it lets the smoke get in there more.

Brisket - We requested the point (fattier) and it did not disappoint (pun intended). Love to have a little of the Carolina sauce (yellow) to dip it in. Delicious

Pulled Pork - Pulled pork was decent. Not as good as the ribs or the brisket but tasty. We were also there later in the day and there is a chance we were hitting the bottom of the barrel with the pulled pork. Still 5 stars for flavour.

Potato Salad - delicious and lots of flavour. Lot's of dill!

Service - we came when it wasn't very busy but the service was good and the waiter was friendly.

No table service but tasty food and dog friendly patio with great prices and delicious barbecue

Took about an hour to get any food and they messed up the order. Then they failed to correct the mistake. Also: five bucks for one piece of cornbread? Ridiculous. The barbecue is middling at best. Go to the Copper Coil instead.

Good sauces, simple place, the food is decent but not wow for the price, service is fine, you have to go to the till and order.
