Penthouse Event & Business Suite

My brother owns this facility, so you would think I would be biased.
However, if you’ve been to this venue, you will understand that rating of this space less than 5 stars would be an injustice.

We had our brothers wedding at this venue on July 22nd this year. It was amazing! Rose and Dee took care of everything leading upto the wedding and on the wedding day. We had asked for special accommodations for a Hindu wedding and they just made it very easy. The venue itself was also really incredible. Dee arranged for a last minute DJ request from us (who was great) and Rose was just such a great host during the event itself. We had a great time. I would highly recommend this venue!

Excellent venue, everyone absolutely loved it. BUT.if you're having a fancy event, like a wedding, DO NOT, SO NOT order from Sharky's. Read the review I posted on them. The North Vancouver location.

Had a fantastic reception dinner and engagement party. Throughly enjoyed the the terrace and the inside area. Staff was super helpful and would be happy to book again when in town!

We hosted our 10th anniversary party here and enjoyed the location and staff so much, we booked and hosted my parents 50th anniversary party 6 months later! We appreciated their flexibility and how we could to tailor the event to what we wanted. For the first party we brought and barbecued our own food. The staff offered and used their serving utensils and dishes. For the second party we used their catering and the food was delicious.

For the first party we had our own DJ. For the second party we used a playlist, and we also had a zoom call using their A/V system. We also really appreciated being able to bring our own alcohol to have available what our guests wanted to drink, and to keep costs down.

My parents arrived very early (much earlier than the party start time) yet were welcomed beautifully. They had wheelchair accommodation which was an important feature that we needed. There was ample street parking and some of our guests used the Skytrain which they said was easy.

Can’t say enough about how awesome the staff were. From the guest check-in downstairs to the bartender to the hosts, everyone was friendly and so helpful. It was a real treat not to lift a finger or have to monitor everything. We really were able to just enjoy ourselves as guests. All our needs were met!

We had my son's 30th birthday here and it was exquisite! The staff was awesome to work with - Rose was fantastic as was the owner. Everything ran smoothly and it could not have been a better day. If you are looking for a rooftop experience and event this is the place to be.

This venue is awesome, staff is very professional and preparation is top notch. Would recommend to anyone. Our guest love it.

We hosted a birthday celebration at this venue and it was an amazing experience. Our guests loved the venue and everyone had a great time. The location and the VIEWS from the patio are unbelievable. We worked with Rose who was a consummate professional from the very start, during the event and final clean up. Her involvement took away a lot of the concerns of “did we forget anything”. All in all I highly recommend this venue for a special celebration!

First of all BIG thanks to ROSE and Dee for organizing my wedding reception. Staff was friendly. All members of management and staff at penthouse were great at communication. I would definitely book this venue for my future events. Venue has beautiful setup outside & inside such as sofas, tables, chairs, centre pieces and so many other decor pieces to add on to tables.
I would recommended this place for all types of events.

Beautifully set venue with even better staff! We've hosted multiple event gatherings here and this venue always has what it takes to make those evenings the most special! This venue has a wonderful outdoor view of the Vancity skyline as well as interior amenities to keep your guest continually entertained. Rose and her staff always go above and beyond to keep all of the guests happy and they are always so pleasant to deal with. Looking forward to booking again.

It was a wonderful experience to have my close friend’s celebrations at Terminal Ave penthouse on August 2nd where I was the host.
The decor was great & the staff service was impeccable. I would especially like to thank Ms Rose - the event Manager who was available every time I had a question before the event and she handled the event so well that I cannot thank her enough and I wish I could have given 7 stars here - I will highly recommend this place for small to moderate gatherings of 40-60 people

Looking at my review? You SHOULD book this venue! We've had our annual corporate summer parties here as it boasts a stunning rooftop penthouse view near Science World. 75% of the venue is outdoors and works rain or shine - they have big white tents and heaters to keep you dry and warm (especially in the evenings when it's a bit colder). I love that they had a catering package and handled all of that for us - we just decide what we want to eat and show up with alcohol. Dee & Rose and their events team are communicative, organized, and prepared for any changes/requests throughout the night. They even stayed a bit later since our party ran late (nobody wanted to leave because they were having an awesome time! Book this venue now - you won't regret it.:)

It was amazing place for your big day.everything decorated so beautiful and modern special lighting at night. I love rose who is the manager of this wonderful place. She is so kind, patient and responsible about her job. I recommend u 1000 times Literally they made me so satisfied.

We highly recommend this venue! The staff was fantastic! Our event went amazingly smooth and was stress free. Once we arrived on site, the staff took over and we were able to focus on our guests and not worry about food or little details. Fantastic team & venue!

I had my engagement there we couldn’t be happier. It was a successful event, everyone had so much fun. The staff and the organization was amazing they were all very polite and organized. We had no problems whatsoever. So anyone thinking to book it, highly recommended.

This is an excellent venue located near science world. You will have access to a beautiful view both indoors and outdoors. Its definitely more worth than the price you pay. The whole team was very helpful and was available for assistance at any time. They went out of the way to help set up my decorations even though they didn’t have too. If I didn’t have the team to help me with my arrangements, I wouldn’t have been able to set up the baby shower on time like the way I had envisioned. You will have access to bar tender, servers, helpers, table decor, cutlery, and catering along with the venue access. Make sure you book with them because it will definitely be worth it. Again I would like to thank Dee and Rose for their wonderful service and support. I really appreciate it! Can’t wait to do another event at this wonderful place ️

This was such a great location for a private event. The patio itself is a beautiful backdrop for photos and the staff and management are extremely professional. I would highly recommend renting this space for any private events especially in the summer!

If I could rate 100 out of 5 stars, I would. Our experience with the Penthouse Event Suites was absolutely fantastic. Due to Covid we were left scrambling for a last minute venue for an event, and we are so happy that we stumbled across this place! Our original venue would have cost us 4x as much, and not delivered half the level of customer experience that they did. The event manager, Dee, was consistently attentive to us and we never felt rushed or pressured with anything. They have shown that they truly care about their guests experience and have refined event planning to another level. Their attention to detail ensured all of our guests had an unforgettable experience, as did we. Without a doubt, this venue is the best value out of any in the city and they have our business for all events to come. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for the complete package!

We hosted our high school graduation event at this venue and it was the best decision we could have made! The staff were incredibly friendly and caring and the venue itself was beautiful, they made it a night to remember for us! A special thanks to Anahita and Alexa as well for going above and beyond the whole time.

I had my birthday here last Sunday and it was the best birthday I’ve ever had! Dee was super accommodating with my last minute changes. They even offered to get more drinks when I realized that I didn’t get enough! The whole team went above and beyond. Security was great at checking all the guests in and watching over the cars to make sure they’re safe! I would highly recommend coming here for all occasions and I’ll be booking here again:)

Had my daughter’s first birthday here. The event went smoothly because of Dee and his staff. The staff was beautiful from inside out. Very easy to get along with.
The venue itself was one of the nicest venue I’ve ever been too. The view of downtown looked amazing. When my guest entered the venue, their eyes lit up because of how Dee and his staff have set up the venue and of course the view. I was stressed out on event day because my daughter’s cake fell apart. But the staff were able to fix the situation. They actually took a lot of stress out of my hands, so I can actually enjoy my daughter birthday. Thank you for everything penthouse event suit.

We had a cocktail party here last week to celebrate our wedding with those guests that could not be accommodated at our ceremony. Dee was super easy to work with before, during and after the event. All of our guests definitely loved the space (has the wow factor with that amazing view) and we all appreciated the steps taken to keep things "covid-safe". You can use the preferred cater or bring in your own food. We used the preferred caterer for ease, and it was definitely easy to set up, however it is really casual food so suitability will depend on what type of event you're having. We will definitely keep this venue in mind for our future events.

We used Penthouse Event Suite for a corporate anniversary party and it was an absolute blast. They made the process very easy and the day of, they took care of everything. A very positive experience and I would definitely use this space again!

Dee and the event staff were very attentive, organized and kind. They were there to assist with all the preparation when we arrived. The event went smoothly and all Covid precautions were addressed by the staff. All of the attendees were extremely happy with the cleanliness of the facility. The view and space are amazing. This beautiful location is paired perfectly with great staff.

For many years I have worked in the customer service industry and if I could give them a 10 Star rating I would! We recently had our wedding reception there and Dee was simply incredible to deal with. He was focused on making our Celebration of Love a memorable one.and it was phenomenal! The staff were superb, the food from the caterer was delicious, and the event location was breathtaking! Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you!

This past weekend I had my dream wedding at Penthouse Event Suite. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with our venue. Dee and his staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time. This is a great venue for any gathering. The view showcases the beauty of Vancouver with the mountains and downtown. The outdoor/terrace furniture configuration along with a stage set up, plants, heat lamps and a gazebo on the side with twinkle light curtains were tastefully done. As the night fell, the lighting provided changed the ambience to an even more spectacular vibe. They even switched out the cocktail table centrepieces with candles which was a nice touch. The sound system was good, too.

As for dealing with the management team, Dee did an excellent job. He is not only professional and accommodating but was extremely prompt in answering questions I had in setting up the venue. We had food catered and I liked the fact Penthouse Events had all the chafing /warming dishes & supplies available for use. The staff was courteous, professional, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion to change things up.

We used this venue for a small Prom and it was absolutely INCREDIBLE! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone. Everyone loved the venue. The drinks were great and the staff were so helpful. This is definitely the best venue for summer events in Vancouver. Thanks again to all the staff that worked so hard to make our event a night remember.

I hosted a party here 2 weeks ago on a very very short notice. Dee was amazing and extremely accommodating. The venue was beautiful, and his staffs were amazing. Many more future parties to come.

It was a good venue for a party. There were 4 staff included.
Manager, hostess, bartender and Door man. I would suggest and wish I had organized my time better so I could had a briefing with the staff prior to the start of my party.
I could have utilized the staff better to assist my set up and presentation of events. Because I was trying to do the set up myself where I could have assistance. A good note to future clients to prepare an itinerary.
(When to do what and clean up on to keep decorations, party favours etc.)
I also suggest if your party participants are not big drinkers, to include the alcohol and not have a cash bar.
Taking the exam and prepaying the liquor taxes is not worth your while.

Sound system and lighting is good. Patio with heated tent is a plus.
I would recommend Penthouse suites.

Wasn't sure what to expect. The place is very nice and the outside is amazing. The staff are very friendly and quick with service.

I had my 50th Birthday party here. My guests were blown away. I was blown away.
The service of the staff was way beyond what I thought it would be. We had brought treats for our guests and when I went to organize that, Dee stopped me and told me that he would take care of it. That happened on a number of occasions. Considering the price includes 4 fabulous staff, I would consider Penthouse Events really great value. C. A.

Great place to host birthday parties! The view is amazing and patio and massive. Iv been here on manny occasions and it's always been a good time.
