Penticton Speedway

Fun fast little track but, I've been to tracks all over the west coast, and this was the worst fan experience I ever had. The "tailgate" section seems to allow people to bring there own drinks, which was the case on my first night, but on the second night, a security guy was kicking us out before qualifying for having our own beer, after he was socializing with every other tailgater who all had there own alcohol beverages. We were obviously targeted. There must be some kind of quid pro quo with regulars. They are extremely inconsistent with their rules.also the announcer has absolutely no idea what's going on. For good racing in BC, go to Saratoga speedway on the island. Much better facility.

May 5 and 6 2023. We drove all the way from Saskatchewan to watch these 2 day races. Booked tickets and seating on line for 4 of us.
Friday was supposed to start at 7: 00 pm. Instead we watched pit bosses check cars for an hour and half. Then there Was one 25 lap race and it started to spit rain so they cancelled Friday. Then Sat they totally cancelled. We got a refund for Sat but not Friday.
Why would anyone buy tickets in advance?

Travelling though town and saw the advertising. Been to lots of tracks but this one is uniquely situated on the top of a hill. Great fans and lots of cars.

Went to Eve of Destruction last weekend where Hornets, Street Stocks and Hit to Pass cars with trailers attached were racing. The updates done to the facility look great - looking forward to seeing the continued progress. The grandstands were packed and the crowd was loving it. Top notch racing from all classes, and the Hit to Pass/Demolition part of the night.well, let's just say watching that was the most fun you can have with your clothes on!

Visited the track today a day after a race and am blown away how nice the facilities are. Everything looks well maintained and a 1/4 mile paved oval! Looked at their schedule and they have great races there. Will definitely be back.

Traffic always sucks big time getting up there but once you're there it's so much fun. They put great shows on up there.

Penticton speedway is BCs answer to a weekend filled with adrenaline. Avion Motorsports and the squad always top shelf and quality okanagan entertainment. More race tracks keep the speed off the street. ICBC needs to recognize this and push for more racetracks. Great environment for the young kids to experience up close racing. If you need a fix this is the spot in penticton

New owners said they wouldnt change/ban events that took place and after taking ownership have now banned certain events. Not a good thing.

This place is now under new management, management that blocks you from commenting on there Facebook page, management that takes away a safe place for you and your friends to drive safely. They took away drifting, with a huge following of comments from the drifting community they continued to delete and block comments. This is what happens when rich retards buy a track. They say there trying to keep the track true to its roots, guess what, drifting has planted a seed 10+ years ago and those roots are stronger then ever. I hope this track fails under new management and someone who actually cares picks it up. #keepdriftingfun

Best prices. Great quality. Farm fresh eggs. Great service. Friendly and helpful to everyone I've spoken with who also goes there.

Very cool activity to do in Penticton. And there are all kinds of bunnies all around the site, so cute!

Amazing get away for a the weekend. Tickets are not that expensive as well. Amazing food and great service. You can even bring in your out food drinks and bbq. You can go down to pits in intermission for a closer look. Over all amazing.

Went to my first race there October 2019, it was Halloween themed and a ton of fun! They jumped cars & trucks through trailers at the end, the hit to pass was a blast too! First time I've ever see boats being hauled with no trailers in a road car race haha! They make it family oriented and only $20 for adults. Free parking, and the food is cooked right fresh in the concession. It was packed, but still space to sit around. And the view is to die for, I will be back year after year now

Fabulous time, the hit to pass and jumping truck and camper were hilarious. One of the best times I've had at a local event in years.

Always a blast when you spend a day at the track. Dont let the fast cars cool yoi though, they've got a lot to do every summer. Our favorite is the Hit 2 Pass Eve of Destruction and the Stock Cars. Our goal this year is to make it to a Bill Riding event as well. Fun for all ages. Just remember to bring ear muffs or ear plugs for those in your family that may have sensitive ears.

So great! First time here and it was a blast for us and the kids! Food was fresh and awesome and the people working we're fantastic and happy! Will definitely be back and recommend everyone go!

INCREDIBLE! A super fun time for race fans and first timers. The kids absolutely loved it of course. Going down into the pits at intermission is a must.

It was awesome seeing the monster trucks and hit to pass. Food was great and the prices were good too.

Good fun. Strong burnt tire smell. Need cash to get in. There's an ATM right next to the food stand once you're in and ran out of cash.

Great place to take the family for something different. We're lucky to have this place in our small town.
