Penticton Taxi

I called the company the morning after my evening cab ride, because I lost something in the back of the cab. They said the driver does not start until 2.30 today, they promised to call me
To see if anything was found, I never got a phone call.
I will be using Uber from now on, Even if it had been taken by another passenger. I would have liked a quick call to say they did not find anything.

Driver arrived late, he wasn’t helpful loading or unloading, unfriendly and car wasn’t particularly clean.

Very punctual and reliable. I booked a ride from Penticton Airport to Osoyoos and was picked up immediately. My return from my vacation in Osoyoos back to the airport was the most enjoyable cab ride of my life. Again I was picked up right on schedule and the driver was so friendly and personable that the ride seemed to pass by in minutes. Great experience! I highly recommend this company!

We had Sharan and his service was outstanding! We highly recommend him! He had amazing personality and was extremely knowledgeable with the winery’s! 5 star service!

Seeing that there was no Uber in Penticton and we were only traveling, we had to resort to taking the taxi. However, we were very disappointed with their performance. We booked a taxi the night before for the next morning and even though we got there 5 minutes early, they said we did not show up and apparently picked someone else up instead, because of this, we were almost late for a competition. The second time, they cancelled our booking because someone else with the same name cancelled their booking so they cancelled ours as well. Though they sent us another car 15 minutes later than the scheduled time, we’re almost late for our flight check-in. Not reliable at all

Driver at the airport refused to call dispatch for the flock of other passengers needing taxis; I called, got bounced back and forth between musac and a ring tone for quite a while, then the call dropped. You’d think the taxi companies would expect a lot of business at the one time each day that flights arrive.

The driver was so rude about our mistakenly lower tip. Then wouldn't take additional tip. Never will I use this company again

We have a family member in a wheelchair. Penticton Taxi drivers were prompt, friendly, helpful and drove so carefully with Mom in the back on her trip to the doctor’s and back. Thank you, we will add my voice to the many others who appreciate Penticton Taxi SO much!

Terrible cab company. Terrible customer service. On Sunday December 18 I needed a larger cab (van or suv) as I had alot of stuff and they straight up told me no and hung up on me. I called again thinking that we may have been disconnected and AGAIN they hung up on me. I will never be using they're cab service again.

Absolutely appalled with the way I was treated today with my dog. I called and asked for a dog friendly cab. I was told it was no problem. Upon the driver's arrival I was asked to put my dog into the wheelchair section of the back. It was sweltering hot and I refused to risk the health of my dog.
I won't be using them again.
Bottom line. If you're not pet friendly don't claim you are.

Better than Eco Taxi! Local Dispatcher! Booked a taxi with eco taxi a day in advance, taxi did not show up and when I called they kept saying it would be another 15 minutes, after 30 minutes I called Pentiction Taxi and they had someone there in 5 minutes. Much better service! Got to my flight just in time!

Late pick ups.drivers wait less then a minute for you before speeding off and call you a "no show"

(Even after I waved him down and he noticed me)

The driver was a sweet nice man.the dispatcher was rude and arrogant. I read from the reviews that the same man lied and said the cab was waiting outside for his other rider.same thing happened to me and they were 20 mins late and I was outside waiting for them.then the dispatcher phoned me screaming at me to get outside when I was out there waiting. I will tell everyone in Penticton not to use this service. The dispatcher was rude the second i called.pathetic.you need to get people to work for you that aren't rude people

I use Penticton taxi almost everyday to get home from work and occasionally to go to work mostly only when the buses aren’t running. (Like today Sunday) I ordered my taxi through the app at 12: 35 for pickup at 1: 45 that’s over an hour in advance and I still had to get a ride from my sister at 1: 50 because a driver was still not on their way! I started at 2pm and have already been over 30 minutes late when waiting for a taxi!

Ordered a taxi but other people got in it. They didn't check the name, didn't care. Don't use these guys if you need to get somewhere reliably.

I've been a regular of this service. My ride was cancelled for no reason. Why should I wait 30 mins for a ride?

This is the most inconsistent cab company I’ve ever used in my life today I was 28 minutes late for work because they didn’t show up for half an hour even though they said they would show up in 10 minutes

I have often used Penticton Taxi wheelchair taxi and have always been pleased with the drivers. Since its Christmas, I just want to say a special thank you to my usual driver, Mandeep. He is always kind and professional. His ride is always smooth, with gentle corners and no sudden stops and starts. Thank you, Mandeep. I really appreciate the wonderful service.

I arranged for the wheelchair taxi for my 98 year old mothers ophthalmology appointment.
The driver would not back up her drive, forcing her to go down her sloped driveway in her electric wheelchair, not door to door. On the way back, she was bouncing in her wheelchair. He stoped and hooked a buckle down which he had failed to do before. When we arrived back to her home, he put her out on the street and would not help her up the driveway. When I asked him to help, after I had paid, he said “no my job is done. “ and left, leaving us to get help to get her up driveway to her door. We were sadly disappointed in the service.

Figures he's too good to wait like the rest of us. Drive into the pickup area rather than wait in line.

Great service. Leather/vinyl seats, so my wet clothing from floating the channel didn't do any damage. Courteous driver. Comfortable car.

I sadly had to use the service of Klassic Cabs Penticton, to help me with some boxes. I explained this to the operator and he suggested I use a van, which I then accepted. Over the period of over an hour, I was on the phone with him multiple times, as he promised an expected time, only for me to call and ask when the van will be arriving. Eventually I gave up and decided to drive it one by one myself, at which time a supervisor called and said he can arrange a car, since the driver of the van does not want to do the drive. Wow, I was flabbergasted, after over an hour, they now say they cannot do the drive anymore. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

I've enjoyed the ride, Music was good, driver was so humble and aware. Very safely drove. I am 100% satisfied with the rates and the availability. 100% recommended.

I've never left a review like this in my life but this was awful
(summary: very late, very confusing, rip off. Taxi drives right by me waving at him at the location I confirmed with dispatcher, parks blocks away, does not apologize or drive back to where I am or even tell me where he is, and keeps the meter running for the time it takes me to find him)

I call dispatcher and confirm (they repeat back to me) to meet the taxi on the corner of "street 1" and "street 2". I wait 10 mins. Call and a robotic voice answers saying they'll be 3 minutes. Call again 5 minutes later and another woman answers saying they'll be 7 minutes. After a few mins I go outside and wait on the corner of street 1 and 2 for 5 mins. Taxi drives right past me as I wave at it. They then call and say that they're on "street 1". I say they just passed me, we were supposed to meet on a corner and can they turn around or should I meet them further down? I repeat name of "street 2" (the corner they were supposed to meet me on) at least 3 times. They say "I am on street 1" they say nothing else. What about "street 2"? Streets go on for miles. I walk about 4 blocks back and forth on "street1" on the phone with them and don't see them. Walk back to "street 2", and start walking back down again. Finally they drive up to me about 3 blocks away from the corner on "street 2" where dispatcher confirmed they were supposed to meet me. They had the meter running the whole time. A third of what I paid (not including tip which I sort of regret giving them) was for the time I spent walking up and down trying to find the taxi because they parked blocks away from the confirmed spot. I tell them where I'm going and they ask for directions "left or right' at almost every turn.

Besides tonight I had pleasant experiences. Dispatchers were always very friendly and clear. Taxi drivers were nice and came within 10 mins. They also used to send location dots so you could see where the taxi was but they didn't this time. I hadn't called them in over a month before tonight. Thinking they got new management.never calling them again. I don't care how long it is I'd rather walk

There are the occasional good drivers but for the most part they are really lacking. Dirty vehicles, reckless and dangerous driving, broken seatbelts, doors that don't lock, doors that don't work. Today was the clincher though - finally a clean and well maintained car but no plexiglass to protect driver and passengers during Covid times. I prefer cabs to Uber and Lyft but this is just getting ridiculous.

I use your service at least twice a week. For the most part im ok. But if your drivers dont know where their fare is going, maybe you should get them educated. I dont think i should have to tell them how to get me home. Not impressed tonight.

I left my phone in the cab after paying my fare to my place. They said I owed them $20.00 to deliver the phone after the fact and I asked where in their policy it said I owed them that amount. The driver called their supervisors who couldn't explain why I owed them that amount (after calling me a nimrod). The driver then called the police on me. A+ service.

Cab driver went to the wrong address, called dispatcher and she was rude, telling me to get the right address next time. Usually dispatcher is super nice, not sure if it's a new one.

Do you guys even hire people with valid driver's licenses? You guys almost hit me on a daily basis, number 18 being the most recent. You guys really need to follow the rules of the road like the rest of us. Cannot wait until uber comes and you guys go bankrupt

We used their app and it was quick and easy and we could track the cab on the app. Cool. Great and friendly service. Quick pickup from the river channel.

Haren is great! My friend and I needed a trip back after doing the channel and Haren was right on time (and very friendly).

I took Klassic Penticton Kabs six times this weekend and I am disgusted by the service (not all the drivers were horrible but a fair amount were). Be that with reckless and unsafe driving to the point where other members of my group refused to get in the cab driven by the same driver.

At the end of the night we ordered a cab and when a van pulled up to us I went to ask if they had been ordered for our group. He proceeded to tell me it was for “unknown” there was another group of people who also ordered a cab and said it was there’s so I said “okay we have another cab coming then but they were waiting first so you can take them. ” The driver then told me “a lot of people need a cab right now and if you aren’t getting in I’m going to get someone else” in an irritated and extremely rude tone. The other group was crossing the street to get the cab and he just speeded away. After briefly pausing in front of the group.

Cab company picked us up at 3 mile and drove us out to Naramata. Cab charge was $18. Driver proceeded to hit us up for a $15 surcharge for driving out of town. Was not at all notified when we called in for the cab that this would be a charge. Called the cab company back to inquire why and they told us that we were ignorant and stupid and that they had informed us which they clearly have not. Do not deal with this company As they clearly do not have ethical or transparent business practices. Called in to dispatch and complained. They flat out told us that they didn’t care about our business and that we wouldn’t be calling them back again. I am unbelievably apalled at the poor level of service, especially considering that I run a customer service based business. Hopefully Uber will come to the area soon and we don’t have to deal with the nonsense taxi monopoly.

We had a Super friendly female driver. She knew the area and we felt very safe while she drove. I would use this cab company again in a heart beat.

Unprofessional drivers who are rude and don t know how to follow the simplest rules of the road.
