From the time we ordered our new 2023 Tacoma to the time we picked up was an excellent buying experience. Our Sales Professional, Cameron Johnston, had a 'no pressure' approach and actually quite calm and relaxed. He answered all our questions and led us through the steps to purchase at a rate that allowed us to fully understand all the details of our new Tacoma.

I just wanted to take the time to say what an incredible help Tahnee Adams was (Penticton Toyota product advisor). I had never used a dealership before for a vehicle purchase, so I was somewhat apprehensive and I had my doubts this time - was looking for a particular 2023 model that needed to be pre-ordered. When I mentioned questions or concerns, Tahnee was quick to address them with no hesitation. She was helpful, she listened, she was accommodating with certain needs I had concerning the order. E-mails and even text messages were replied-to either the same day, or the next - I had all the information and documents that I needed to feel good about the purchase. The process with Penticton Toyota, and especially Tahnee could not have been more seamless or pleasant, and I would highly recommend them.

The team works very hard to make you feel comfortable and to provide the best service. I felt very at ease purchasing my first vechile with them! It was an easy process and I highly recommend going here!

I have been doing business with Penticton Toyota for many years now and always found them very respectful, fair, honest and responsive to any questions or service I may require.

My experience was mostly good with few exceptions. First, It was a toyota certified vehicle but when I came to pick up the vehicle, I discovered the detailing was not done as promised. I found breadcrumbs, corn parts, pet hair in the second row seats and in the cargo space. Second, only one set of original car keys were provided instead of two.

Hash, General Manager was friendly, respectful and helped to speed up the negotiation process. He was able to give me a fair value and the sales closure and insurance change over was smooth.

Leah, Finance manager was absolutely lovely. I didn't feel pressured to make additional warranty purchase, and felt like she put customer first, not the sale. It was a refreshing change!

The product specialist, Tahnee is very new to this business but helpful throughout the purchase, she has shown good customer service. She gone above and beyond to help when I discovered the vehicle was not detailed as promised.

Walter, delivery specialist was knowledgeable, amiable and quick to show me the tech system of the vehicle.

Overall, one of my better experiences with a dealership. I would recommend Penticton Toyota to anyone.

I have been a Toyota man since 1984 and I have dealt with many dealerships. Penticton Toyota is the best. Their people are truly caring about the customer. The man who has done me right is the salesperson-Chris Wood. He knows his stuff. Actually all of the staff know there stuff.

Every part of my experience purchasing a vehicle was easy and enjoyable. Joe Kirk was the salesperson who helped me. He was knowledgeable and personable. Mike handled my purchase paperwork, and he too was great to work with. I especially loved the walk-through of my vehicle before I drove it off the lot. The vehicle I bought has a lot of special features, and they took them time to make sure I understood all the functions and features of my car before I left the lot. Overall I was very pleased with the experience. I highly recommend Toyota Penticton for purchasing a vehicle.

We worked with Chris Wood on the purchase of a RAV4 Hybrid, starting back in April 2022. We completed the purchase on Aug 23. The staff at Penticton Toyota, including Chris, were very easy to work with. Chris communicated well with us and accommodated our timelines and other constraints. We really enjoyed working with Chris, Mike, John and Walter on the completion of the purchase of this car. And we are now looking forward to the next iteration of the RAV4……. The RAV4 Prime plug-in hybrid, due soon.

This is to reply to: Larry (General Manager of Toyota Penticton) Yes, I did apologized many times to your staff for choosing the word "lousy" I admit of that wrong word due to my frustrations! I had been to your service center since last year with thesame complain and nothing happens! For the third time I paid and frustrated for no results. Last 2-3 weeks, i drop by to your office and asked one of your service advisors to come and ride with me to testify the said squeeking sound. He heard the squekky sound acknowleged that theres something wrong with my car, and adviced me to book for service! And I did! This morning I sensed that I will be paying again the way your staff told me even I told him one of your service advisors testified about the squeeking sound! What else do u want me to provide? If you were in my shoes, you will be frustrated too! My car is still pretty new and under warranty. I called the TOYOTA CANADA after the incident and informed them my situation, after providing them the Vin, they knew that it's the ELECTRO MAGNETIC CLUTCH that needs to be repaired. And infact II been told that it was already in your data base for a while! How come no one knows. I keep on coming to your service center and end up paying for the diagnostic!

Again, I am humbly ask for forgiveness of my actuations. The time I realized of my wrong doings, I ask forgiveness many times infront of many!

I have been working with Chris at Penticton Toyota for about 6 years. He's excellent. I would give him a 5 out of 5. He's very considerate and a good listener. He knew what kind of car I wanted. He never tried to sell me anything that wouldn't suit me or my finances.
I would also give Mike who handled the financing a high mark. He made the process painless. Plus, the young man who taught me about my new car was very patient. I left Toyota feeling I really knew the ins and outs of what the car was capable of.
Even the gentleman who gave me a ride to the dealership was pleasant.
In fact I would've given the Toyota experience a 5 out of 5 if it wasn't for the trade in evaluation, I thought the trade-in crew acted like a parody from a TV show about 1950s car salesmen, low-balling me and not giving me the respect I deserved as a long time customer. (Ultimately I decided against working with them on this.)
As someone who works in sales, I understand the pressure to turn a profit, but I also know that the basis of long term sales success is good customer service. Thank you for Chris and Mike for providing this.

Just wow! As soon as I stepped on the lot I wasn’t overwhelmed by annoying pushy salesman. I met Tony and his calm and easy going demeanour made me feel very welcomed. He was able to answer all my questions and made my options straight forward and easy to understand. I was able to pick the best route that worked for me that allowed me to get into the vehicle I wanted while making me feel like I was in the drivers seat without being pressured into a sale. Purchased a 2021 Sienna from Chris Wood. Chris has helped me purchase numerous vehicles the last 10 years. Most of them Hybrids. He does a great job on delivery with showing how all the features work. He organized and ordered all the accessories we wanted and even organized a very rapid delivery the day after the vehicle arrived from factory. I recommend anyone looking at purchasing a vehicle go and speak to Chris first.

Our 2005 Toyota Sienna van was written off due to someone running a red light and collided mid section of our vehicle (we believe the Sienna saved our lives). We were told by ICBC that once the claim adjuster settles on a value that our vehicle is worth we’ll have 3 days to find a vehicle before losing our rental. With Covid-19 and the B. C. Forest fires, have made it difficult to find another Sienna, whether it was used or new for that matter, in the Interior of B. C. We were recommended to contact Martin Longmore, sales manager at the Penticton Toyota dealership, which we did. Martin was amazing, he heard our story that brought us to him and we went from there. Martin introduced us a to a product advisor by the name of Joe Kirk an between the two of them they were able to find us 2017 Limited AWD Sienna. Honestly, we don’t feel safe in any other vehicle than Toyota since we walked away from that very serious accident. Within 6 days we had our beautiful nearly new Sienna that they found at a dealership in Kelowna. All we can do is express to you that these guys went beyond our expectations to ensure that we were once again apart of the Toyota family! And let us tell you what a beautiful, fun, ride!
Thanks Martin, Joe and all the other staff that we had dealings with us, you made a very difficult time in our lives a much easier, less stressful, transition for us knowing you’d do everything possible to get us back behind the wheel again!

We bought our used car from them and had it shipped to us as we're out of town and travel wasn't allowed yet. We looked over all the documentation and saw that all the things on the inspection passed with a "green" light. Within 2 days of receiving our vehicle, we took it to our mechanic, as we said we would, who said there were no rear brakes on our car. The inspection said otherwise. We were told they stand by their word and would make it right after I sent my invoice and photos my mechanic provided. I attempted contact on several occasions and have been ghosted every time. Do not trust their word, it's not worth a thing.

We needed a new car as our 2003 echo was getting past her prime. Chris Wood was recommended by a friend so we booked an appointment with him and I was not sorry. I had a lot of features of my Echo and Cris was very patient and thoroughly explained how car technology had advanced in the past 18 years and why I would enjoy these new features in language I could understand. I still have a lot to learn about driving my new car and its features but I took it on a test drive to Kelowna and manged most of the features. I was very anxious about buying a new car but thanks to Chris the experience was kind of thrilling.

Yes we enjoyed the Tempo that everybody involved demonstrated, didn’t feel pushed and felt like Chris started out with the important questions of what are we looking for which I thought was a good start. We have found other places maybe weren’t listening as close and also in the financing stage suggested a lot of things we felt less comfortable to say no.
