Peregrine House School

If you’re looking for a personalised, professional, caring and tailored Montessori experience for your child this is the place to send them. Coming from the UK we are used to high standards of childcare and we have been pleasantly surprised with Peregrine House School since sending our two children here. The progress in their social, emotional and fine motor skills was noticeable from day one and continues to grow.

I am very happy with the care and attention my children get from their individual teachers, when I leave my children here I know they are in great hands and trust the programme provided for them. The children are at the centre of everything that’s done here - it is not simply a daycare to babysit children, it’s where they go to develop independence and intellect so that they have the best foundation for the next stages of life.

As newcomers to Canada, we were very grateful to be apart of this community and for the friends we and our children have gained.

We love this school. Both of my kids (5-2) love the environment. I m very happy with their growth.

Sent them an email weeks ago to sign my child up. No response back and cannot get a hold of anyone. Totally made the choice for us.

Peregrine has met beyond our family and kids’ needs. It supports and applies the classic Montessori method which I learned to understand. My 2 kids went to Peregrine and started out timid and inexpressive, lacking social skills due to COVID. The school helped with social skills that they’re able to interact with each other in a mixed aged classroom setting.

Over only 10months of being with the program, I’ve seen great improvement with my kids. My kids gained increased independence and functional skills from the support of staff around the Montessori classroom surrounding. My kids seem happy and relaxed when I drop them off and pick them up. They benefited from repetition and being led through self-discipline. They benefit from the lessons specifically tailored to them. They’ve become autonomous and independent over their learning.

I only wished my kids progress was shared periodically in written and not only verbal- we received verbal progress towards the end.

Other than that, Peregrine had my full trust with my children. Overall, bringing my kids there helped me with tools in parenting and supporting their needs for learning. We’re happy to be part of the Peregrine community. I recommend it to any parent.

Loved meeting with Ms. Nadin at the new Mockingjay classroom and building. No detail was overlooked, fresh air system, tons of natural light, toddler size furniture (including toilets and sinks). We were impressed by the thoughtfulness that was put into every learning zone as well as the materials used. This is truly a magical space and I can't wait for the official opening.

Ms. Nadin was so wonderful with my son, he was absolutely in love with her.

The head of school (Nadin) is incredibly unorganized. Staff members are poorly organized and have to actively advocate for everything they get from their head of school, who is notoriously terrible at administration and unpredictable. Nadin does not abide by employment standards, Nadin actively subverts the laws meant to protect the teachers and students. No wonder their enrollment rates have plumitted this semester!

Peregrine is an absolutely amazing school born out of dedication, respect and love for the Montessori pedagogy. Miss. Nadin has a keen eye for detail and one can easily observe this as soon as they enter the classrooms. Her staff and herself are a group of the most amazing personalities. The amount of love and care put into the students is impressive. I highly recommend Peregrine

When it comes to the calibre of thought and care invested in cultivating an enriching experience for children, this place is doing it right. Every detail is intentional, from the materials used in the environment, to the teachers hired to make this space a safe space. The formative years are from the ages of 0-6 - there simply is no more important time in the human life span than this. Peregrine understands this and it reflects in their actions. What I appreciate most about the school is the efforts made to nurture the unique essence of each child and the thoughtful planning tailored to each child's individual needs. My kids have remained their true selves and have been able to develop greater confidence and security in who it is they are. I give my highest recommendation to Peregrine House.

Visited a lot of other schools before choosing this one, but in the end, it was an easy decision. The quality of care at Peregrine is unmatched. Staff members see each child as a whole individual with physical, emotional, mental, psychological and social needs. A holistic approach is taken to help them develop into the best versions of themselves. I love that my kids get to see the same staff and same students every day so secure attachments can be made. The impact extends beyond the classroom and I see how empowered my kids are to want to be independent, compassionate and brave in every other aspect of their life. We're truly thankful to be part of the Peregrine family.

Peregrine House School is absolutely amazing! My son has been with Peregrine for quite some time. We are so incredibly amazed by his positive development in such a short period of time.
Peregrine offers a safe caring stimulated environment were children can learn, develop self-control, learn to take initiative, develop an analytical mindset, learn cooperative social skills and much more.
All staff members are so friendly, caring and loving. They show so much love and patience to each and every child.

This school is awesome! Especially Ms Nadin she truly cares for all children families and even all the entire staff. Her teachers are all hard working and lovely to be with each day. We truly care for everyone and I respect her very much! I look forward to coming back after I have graduated AMI. Thanks to this school I have found the best environment to do what I love.

Peregrine has been an incredible learning experience for my son. I have watched his social and academic skills grow in such a short period of time and I am absolutely amazed.
