Excellent place to buy groceries at great price! It's a small store, but it helps to save some money and get quality food.

Love Persia Foods. I'm a vegetarian and they have the freshest most reasonably priced nuts in the city. Busy busy place so the veggies are always fresh. And I like ethnic foods. The Iranian crackers and flatbread are a staple in my kitchen.

It could look cheaper, but you have to watch for the expiry date all the time. Often, veggies go rotten on the next day. All the time you have to check your receipts for they make mistakes every time (and all the mistakes in their good, not for customer’s).
I bough yogurt with black mold inside. I called them immediately and they told me to bring it back with the receipt any time convenient for me. When I brought it back they refused to refund.
Stuff is very disrespectful and badly trained, no good customer service.
Not recommend.

I have been coming to this store for the past 5+ years. Great selection of produce however, in the last few months the signage for prices of produce is lacking so its hard to know the price until you get to the check out which is frustrating as a customer. I hope they start to work on this since if I don't see a price and can't find someone to ask I would go somewhere else.

Amazing grocery store! An absolutely huge variety of food - high quality fresh fruit and veggies at really low prices. Lots of dried fruits and nuts, and breads. Tons of spices and sauces from a large variety of ethnocultural backgrounds. I went in just for their veggies and left with so much more than expected because I couldn't believe the good deals.:) Definitely just became my go-to store!

I love Persia Foods. Across the board, they have the lowest prices for produce and bulk dry goods. You really have to sort through the bins sometimes (lots of unripe or spoiled products on display), but the work is definitely worth the low price. Perhaps the workers aren't overtly friendly (that seems to be a common complaint in other reviews), but they are always helpful and allowed me to exchange a jar of olives that I didn't realize was spoiled until I got home.

Excellent selection of middle eastern food. Good prices too! Produce far less expensive than regular grocery store.

Interesting selection of fruit and vegetables at good prices, also cheese and persian flat bread. Good selection of Spices including hungarian paprika.

Sept 27 2022 what is the cashiers problem? She has zero interest in doing her full job! Ive ended up bagging my groceries! I've had to do it twice myself at this location on Broadway! How annoying!

Little place, but very nice. Found there many international food. Unfortunately, narrow passes.

Very good prices, especially when compared with grocery stores like Safeway and IGA. Freshness of some of the produce is not great but can pick and choose quite easily to find the fresh stuff. Shop here often.

It's dirty and messy, but has some exceptional products, exclusively. So it does worth going there. However, their main branch is in North Vancouver, and that's a better store.

Do not shop here! I wanted to buy a watermelon marked with a sign with UPC code and tagged with the same code. They said it was incorrect and wanted to charge me $2 more for no reason. No sign indicating it cost $2 more in the box I found it in. Very rude to me. The store is disorganized and filthy. There are many more stores with fresher produce, better customer service and cleaner in our neighbourhood to shop in.

Banana chips, soft feta, and their produce are incredible! Found some great sugar free tea cookies that were imported from Europe. Staff are lovely!

They sometimes sell expired food, and put low price labels on but while paying you may notice there’re differences between the price on label and payment. They also charge you extra for something you haven’t purchased meaning stealing money from your pocket. Be careful.

Great selection, very organized store. Some prices are high though on very basic things. I come here for some specific items.

Terrible store to shop at. They sell outdated & expired food. When called out on it they deny & lie about it. They also peel the best before date off the foods they sell. Warning! DO NOT SHOP here if you value your health! Beware of the mice in the store too.

The employees of this store are "EXCELLENT".
All of them are friendly, helpful and most willingly assist customers.

The store pricing is also excellent, very reasonable and producers are freshly, cleanly and neatly presented.

Really love this place, but I’m super disappointed they keep using single use plastic shopping bags in spite of them being banned in Vancouver.

Good import selection and some great produce but so poorly maintained. It doesn't seem like any cleaning or renovations goes on in this place. While I certainly would have visited more often for some of the breads and produce, the image of the dirty floors and store in general stop me. It is a pity as I think their supply chain is top notch with most of their goods and pricing but a business should be clean and tidy. I hope they take this into consideration.

Persia is a good place for fruits & veggies along with other groceries. Yogurt is a much better deal than any grocery store (including Costco!). Good selection of foreign food as well.

Nice collection of fresh fruits and vegetables and the rates are pretty nice as well! Also they have a lot of Asian spices and stuff.

A slightly chaotic layout, but well worth navigating the bins of produce for the Persia Foods prices and options. A one stop shop for canned goods, pulses, produce, dips, dried fruits, nuts and seeds, and all the grains your heart desires.

I purchase my produce at Persia foods often, even though it's out of my way, the value for the quality is spectacular! I love to support small businesses especially if staff is helpful and friendly, although the isles are very narrow, some how it all works out. The store is packed with goodness i'm always searching for something new to try out.

Kind of cramped and a bit grubby, but the big draw here is affordable produce and specialty items. I can’t say the shopping experience there is a pleasure, but paying those prices is. And if you’re civil to the workers, they’ll be civil to you. I definitely recommend the place.

I love shopping at this place and supporting a local small business. So much eclectic variety crammed into every corner. Considering the small size, they have almost everything you might possibly need and more.

Good thing: maybe cheaper + location; Bad things: I doubt they would check these comments. I found many many expired items; the baskets are filthy and the floor is dirty; the workers are walking all the time in the narrow aisles; mistakes in manual entering the product codes (check your receipt) ; bad costumer service; unhappy, disrespectful, and badly trained staffs and manager; shelves are messy; rotten fruits mixed with the others; many people inside even during covid19; beautiful from outside, ugly from inside. If you want to buy from PersiaFood again, bring your own basket, check the expire date, buy only dried products, check your receipt, leave immediately!

Too many errors on receipts, cheaper goods billed as more expensive, i.e. Anjou pears billed as Bartlette, etc. No time to check receipts as there is constant flow of people, everything done in a rush.

Price is amazing! Unique products in here too. Quality varies so pick carefully and you'll end up with better produce than Safeway or Save on Foods at a great deal.

This is a special location for our family to purchase fresh and reasonably priced grocery products.affordable and fresh produce are available on each visit we make to this Broadway location.parking in the general area can be a challenge.

The manager is getting very sneaky by not putting price on their products. I also found the cashier enter wrong codes which overcharge me several times. Please check what they enter if you don't want to get overcharge.

Do not buy mazafati dates that they sold! First buy was ok but our second buy of mazafati, all of packages are rotten

Traditional international and seasonal fruits available and at fair prices, including mango, guava, sweet lemon, plantain, etc. Bring a face mask and avoid peak hours as it can get crowded and it's a bit tight (small space).

Not following the COVID-19 rules such as the number of people who enter the store distance between each customer, baskets are not being sanitized, no wipes provided for customer use many products no price tags or not on the system for scanning. Aisles are very tiny! Cashiers are polite and have nice service. Sometime, I have noticed some the grocery clerks and stocking staff blocking customers ways for shopping, not following the distance recommendation.

Huge selection of fruits and vegetables at competitive prices, lots of nuts and dried fruit, plus herbs, spices, and international ingredients. Worth the trip!

The staff are great. Prices are the best. Whole Foods stocks lots of the same specialty items at 5x the price.

Great place for Persian items but also great for local produce shopping. Store is a little packed inside but once you wonder around you can get a good sense of where everything is.

From Persian sweets to cooking ingredients, chances are you will be able to find what you are looking for.

The staff is very friendly and helpful if you need help locating an item or have a question about a product or food item. I love checking in this store every once in a while to see what new items they have or just to get some fresh produce for cheap.

An immense variety of international and domestic groceries.prices are often very reasonable. It’s a little crowded most days but that’s because of its we’ll deserved popularity.

I get most of my produce from here. Love it. The prices are so reasonable compared to the big supermarkets. One grumble though, they need to get some paper bags for the loose fruit and veg.

Although the ailes of the store are too narrow to pass freely, but the products are so good with very reasonable prices. I found the best 5 pounds rice pack for very low price and great quality.

Fresh produce. Persian rice. All sorts of Persian edibles that take me back to my childhood memories.

Lots of good Iranian food items and fruits and great customer service both from management and employees. I definitely recommend every one to enjoy the fresh fruit and veggies in this grocery store.

Great for fresh produce.it's a small space to navigate and can get quite busy in the after work hours.the staff is friendly. I stay away from their salami and other cold cuts as well as the cheese as they aren't great but their hummus is good (garlicky!). Tinned products are hit or miss but well worth trying stuff out.

Very good quality and price for groceries, pulses, spices, and YOGURT! We always buy yogurt there and it is the best one we tried so far in Vancouver. The only problem with the Kitsilano store is it is very small and cold:) But other than that we like it very much!

Persia is a very well known Iranian grocery store with multiple locations. It's great for day to day grocery shopping with the best price in the town. Stores are aged and not very clean however when you compare the prices you will know why.

Definitely would recommend.
