Dog wash is $15 per dog now. $10 was already crazy.

Staff never welcome us, and rarely offer help.

Staff are very nice here, I had a return that most other stores wouldn't have honored but they offered me an exchange very graciously.

Not really friendly staff talked about there drinking an weekend an pointing an laughing at people love the doggie bath though

They are keeping cats! In super tiny cages! Horrible! The cats are never coming out unless someone buy them. Can take months. They can't walk, run, play. That's horrible! It's animal cruelty big times. I feel so sorry for the cats. It should be prohibited. Don't buy there. Please wake up people! We love animals and this is the opposite of love. Who buys there is guilty too. Poor cats.

Friendly place. We bought our puppy her 1st collar; it is really well made and an awesome color for a great price. They offered me a coupon book as well and I was able to get a discount right away.

I was laughed at when asked for a previous receipt for a leash my dog chewed through. The woman was very rude and said there was no way anyone would warranty a leash a dog chewed. I explained that the only reason I bought that brand was for the warranty which was explained to me anything was covered, she asked me which employee it was as they would need to be talked to about spreading false information.

Thankful to RC pets for warranty on a new leash with out a receipt, they also informed me Buckerfields in salmon arm carries their products.

The staff are always so friendly here. Easy to talk to and ask questions and if they can't answer they're willing to learn with you. Great place for all your pet needs

Many things U might want for yer pets & animals, & the counter person, she was very helpful & courteous, as we had arrived at 7mins b4 closing time.

Terrible animal care. Water bowls for all reptiles were bone dry. The chameleons living together had no ventilation, no water, barley any plants, and absolutely no humidity. They looked paler then a ghost and looked to be on death row. The ferrets litter doesn't look to have been cleaned for a few days, no bedding, and the little bed they had looked filthy. They also had no food. The mice and hamsters just had two bowls. No hides, chews, toys, or even a wheel. They had tons of birds in one small glass box. I was to scared to look at the fish. When the lack of water was mentioned to who I assume is the manager, he because very snarky and rude saying "ill get to it later" even though it looks like they have been neglected for days. Will never be back again.

They have good prices for things but lots of dead fish, they recently got a shipment of red cherry shrimp that I was very excited for, they kept them in a glass box with no filter. (couldn’t have been more than a gallon) so many failed molts from improper acclimation or not enough minerals in the water. Was horrified when I saw several shrimp eating two dead shrimp carcasses. Yes fish are good prices but are likely to die and are not good quality. Staff didn’t know what they were talking about, I asked a lady where they kept sponge filters, she told me they didn’t have any. When I found one myself I made sure to ask her if there was an air pump and tubing as well as chords, she told me yes, thank goodness I checked the box because there was no such stuff in that box! Very disappointing.

I witnessed what looked to be the managers and supervisors swearing at the other staff, the staff look miserable everytime I'm in I guess that's why.

We adopted a kitty from Pet Valu a few years back, been customers ever since and we are thrilled with the new expansion renovations to the Salmon Arm store. Great selection, nice staff.

Good store, treats and dog accsessorys and cat stuff is a little over priced. But this location just recently gor fish in and so far they seem healthy, bought some of their neon tetras and they are doing great! But time will tell how there fishy adventures will play.

So disappointed to find out that this store does not care about keeping shoppers safe. They are not masked and exceptions are not the same as advisements from a medical doctor. Would you want your surgeon to opperate not wearing a mask. They don't have exemptions!

Unfriendly environment makes you feel like they don't want you in there manager is anti mask and unfriendly other than that the store is clean and organized

Nice and well sorted store. Staff is very nice and helpful and very knowledgeable. They helped me find the right food for my 2 kittens and they really enjoy the treats and the mouse toy. Thanks for your help and your recommendations. Will be back for sure.
