I was lost, lady was super helpful with directions and recommending cheap deals

I tried to use EV charger yesterday on my way back to Vancouver and the charger simply stopped charging after the connection to my car. BMW owner tried to charge on the other charger and it was the same issue "charging failed" right after it connects. It seems like PETRO CANADA doesn't have a good technical support for this and they don't care too much about it.

Their EV chargers are hopeless. Tried to connect multiple times, either timed out or just wouldn't connect. Another driver next to my stall also couldn't get it to charge. It was my mom's first EV and I was showing her how to charge it. Suffice to say, she was not impressed. I have none of these issues in my Tesla on the supercharger network. Why is it that hard to make it work reliably when Tesla can do it?

Made this a destination to charge our EV on our road trip. Plugged it in and set it up. Should have taken 30 minutes to charge so we walked down the street to grab some lunch. 20 minutes in we get a message that charging was paused and can only be restarted at the station. Went back and a woman way up the hill shouted that the charging stations are out of order and don’t work. There was no sign and obviously if a local is telling you it’s broken, it’s been broken for a while. Thanks for wasting our time PetroCan. GRR!

Front door was locked at 7 pm in the evening for straight 10-minutes when I wanted to buy something in-store apart from the fuel.
I ended up going to CHEVRON then.
Not sure where the store attendant was!

The two older people were awesome. I went to purchase some items, and they pointed out what was on special, saving me some money. They just did not clerk the items, they helped me buy. Thank you

Really disappointed to see there isn't any water tap outside. It's a standard feature in most and I don't want to buy a bottle of water just for my dog!
