Petro-Canada & Car Wash

No signs stating if there is ethanol in their gas. Went in to ask the cashier if they have ethanol inside their gas, but he was clueless to what ethanol even is.

False advertising in this place. I told the guy the price 14.99 and he was charging me 16.99. He called this girl and she took over. The guy looked at the shelf and confirmed it's 14.99 but the girl just said oh "New Price". That's is the most pathetic excuse of a service. Check the items prices before you buy anything here. Can't be trusted

It was waste of money and time!
I went there and I did the super service which was the most expensive service! It did not work and it didn’t clean my car well! When I ask ed them to do the service again, they said you have to pay again!
It was my first and last time!
Poor customer service

Came here few times to get gas and whenever i asked for the washroom, the employee says its broken, its closed or anything else. Its been months, should look into this. Today this happened again at 6: 35 pm, Wednesday, July 6,2022

I have never left a review for a gas station, but I had an issue with the pump overcharging me. It was a error on my part, but the manager went above and beyond and made the whole experience positive. He could have easily said "sorry nothing we can do" but he didn't, he appreciated my circumstance and took care of it. All the staff here are also very friendly! Thank you!

I had an awful experience July 29th, 2021 at 3: 45pm. Two employees here attempted to refund me, and told me that my original transaction was voided (which does not occur on debit) and gave me $10 and told me to repay for the gas. This seemed wrong to me and after arguing for a minute they brushed me away. After thinking about it I went back in saying if it was voided why did you give $10. Then the man instantly knew what I was talking about and quickly pulled out the other $10 he owed me. This was clearly an attempt to scam me and keep $10 of cash.

I would go in the evening as there was no wait. Fast, no 45 minute wait like the car wash on Broadway and burrard. I like the washers that touch car vs touch less. I will be back.

Phone here to ask about propane tank refill. No refills but has exchange. Very very friendly guy on phone.

The pump did not give me the option of a car wash, and when I was finally able to get the attendant's attention in the store, because he seemed more interested in his phone call then serving customers he told me the car wash was not working properly even though cars were going thru it. I notice this is a very commonality for all the workers at petro canada's in lower mainland, they are all easy indian who barely understand or speak english and always seem to be yapping to their Punjabi friends on shift when they should be focusing on doing their job. I say if you want to yap to your friends on your phone all day don't bother working, because it seems like you all are really not anyways! This is not India this is Canada learn how to actually speak and understand English or French those are our official languages, Punjabi is not!

I would not recommend using the car wash service here. The attendants quite often don't pre rinse the car nor the tires. I find my car comes out of the wash still somewhat dirty from this particular carwash no matter how much you pay and my car was not that dirty before going through!

Paid just under $15 to still have a dirty car. The whole point in paying this price is so that I dont have to do the work myself. Bugs still all over the license plate and dirt stuck to the hood.

Car wash was okay. The machine washes very quickly and not so well compared to some of the other esso car washes I have been to. If you buy gas then it's a couple of dollars cheaper. It closes at 9pm and if you go at night you don't have to stand in long lines. Otherwise if you go there on a weekend afternoon there will be huge lines. The entrance is pretty small and you have to pay at the counter.

Brilliant service. Very comprehensive clean inside and out. Same day booking and service provided. Would highly recommend

My car was dirtier after the car wash, it’s seriously unbelievable!
Don’t waste your time and money, better clean your car with a sandpaper it will have less swirl marks!

Went through their car wash yesterday and it ripped my roof rack right off of my car. Attendant offered zero assistance or anything, just told me to get the box out of the way so others could use the car wash.

I’ve gone through car washes with my roofbox before and have had zero issues. All the attendant could do was point to the sign that told you to close your windows before entering.

Every morning i go to this store and it says it's opens at 6: 30 it is never open on time. I got there this morning at 7am and the attendant was outside and told me to wait 2minutes. The Store was ment to be open a half an hour

Went for a car wash today, and the guy grunted out a Hello, could not be bothered to pre-spray my car, and gave me the impression he would rather be any where but serving me. I WILL NOT be going back!

Always a good experience with one of our few remaining neighborhood gas stations. Today I went in to wash my car and had let my car wash voucher expire. Great customer service, they replaced the voucher for me and I got to drive home in the sunshine in a sparkly clean car! Thank you)

Supposed to close at 11pm. But the pit stop shuts down at 10: 52. We made it inside, but they have no coca cola, no Pepsi, nothing! While I was about to insert my car's, they change the gas from $149.9 to $163.9, just 10 mins before they close. Picture taken at 10: 55 - the staffs are ready to leave!

DO NOT USE CARWASH HERE. It took a chunk of my paint. Always go touchless Esso or Husky. Learnt the hard way.

This has to be the worst run car wash in the entire city, staffed by the two laziest people on the planet. Seriously, for the fun of it, go there on a hot summers day and see how long it takes for someone to come out and turn the wash on without you having to put your car in park and walk over to the front, only to have some teenager roll his eyes at you and begrudgingly come out to turn the wash on.

The car wash at this station is terrible. I have a midsize SUV and this automatic car wash misses the back of my car every time. It also misses the mirrors and some patches on the roof and sides.

One thing I have noticed about this gas station is that they seem to hire only men and only from one cultural group. Like no women are allowed to work here type of thing?

It's not advertised as a full service station, but apparently the pumps closest to the attendant are full serve and priced higher than the other pumps. Confusing.

Went to this station with car wash attached in order to use the final wash I have on my current Wash & Go card. I went straight to the car wash with my card, got the vehicle in place, and went to tap my card (because for some reason, the machine is not reachable from inside the car like all other Petro Canada car washes I've been through). The chain started moving, but never once did it move my car, and I did not see the mechanism extend to catch my tires in order to move my car. I tried to readjust the position of my car, thinking it was not in the right position to trigger the mechanism, and in the process of doing so, I triggered the start of the car wash process, even though the mechanism is still not extending to move my car. With my car still at the start position and the car wash finishing the wash process, the attendant at the time (I didn't ask for a name, but he is wearing a turban) came out and told me I had to go get an attendant to help with the wash process. This was news to me, as there was no signs saying so. After five minutes of talking, he told me there was nothing he could do to get me the wash, and said "sorry" only. He also said there was a sign saying to go into the store to get an attendant to help with the wash. I asked him to show me the sign, but the only sign he pointed to is a sign that says "Please Pay in Store or at Pump. " The sign said nothing that would tell me I have to go into the store to get the attendant. The attendant said the only thing he can do is talk to his manager, but by this point, I was so incredibly mad, I decided to just drive away to another car wash.
