3 workers Followed us around, good selection of stuff here but weird staff man.some theft must have gone down for them to be like that.

Store very easy to shop and also very clean.
Good size kitten adoption area for the two that were currently available.
Staff were nice and i was greeted on my way in!
Good selection of both lower grade and higher grade food for cats!

I have been going to Pets West frequently since I got my adorable kitten 5 months ago. I find the products they carry to be of good quality and the pricing is generally quite affordable. The staff are friendly, caring, helpful, and really know what they are doing! If you are in the neighbourhood and have a pet, or need a Christmas gift, Pets West is worth a look!

Pets West! Stellar. We've been going for 20+ yrs. Especially my Mom, Wendy with her beautiful family of rescue dogs over the years. They know where the cookies are. We know where the fabulous, friendly service & quality selections are. ️

I have been a long time customer at Petswest. It was a family feel when you walked in and greeted. I was in the other day and met the new owner. He was trying to sell me his product instead of the one I always get. Not impressed with his customer service skills. I then noticed that many of my favorite staff were gone. It seems the store was bought out by a company out east. They are eliminating alot of their products including dog beds?

I understood many staff have quit due to this new company taking over and that family feeling is now gone. I will not be returning to this store.

Exceptionally experienced staff who love to assist! I went in one day (a few years back, but the service is still excellent today) when sadly, our cat was in the final stages of cancer and had stopped eating. Upon entering Pets West, two clerks asked me if I needed assistance. I started to tell them my story, then my emotions kicked in. Realizing the urgency, they immediately began to help me in choosing something that he could eat. They even got another staffer to help.the service I got was amazing! You just don’t get service like that ANYWHERE! It was so appreciated.

Very helpful staff. Bright open floor plan they support Dee's orphan kittens by having kitten's on site available for adoption.

We had a lovely experience adopting our kitten Kestrel from the folks at Petswest, via the Victoria Humane society. They contacted us shortly after being put on their kitten wait list and the adoption process was smooth and quick! The ladies there were very kind of knowledgeable. I'd recommend them to anyone hoping to adopt a cat or kitten!

Great service and a small but strong selection of bird food and toys. They also have a great selection for Dogs and cats as well

Honestly my favourite pet store. I travel from Langford to go here. Amazing and knowledgeable staff, and a really great selection of quality products.
Heather was especially helpful for us in figuring out a diet for our picky puppy - she wasn't biased to any particular style of feeding, just educated us and helped us find the best choice for our pup.

This store does not treat their employees well. Do NOT shop here. They believe they are a "challenging" place to work because they do not allow their staff to eat or have adequate breaks.

I came in today after work to buy a bird cage for my mom, I could not be more pleased with the service I got, great staff and its so just so nice to see people that care about everyone's pets so much! Well done!

I just buy fish there. Am always amazed at how sincerely interested and supportive staff are of people's pet needs and questions.

Some rude and unhelpful staff. The manager needs to go back to college and learn about customer relations. According to her the staff can do no wrong even when they are rude, unhelpful, obstructive and incompetent. I wanted to give my business to an independent store but no more. I will go to Bosleys in future.

10/10 would recommend Pets West to anyone and everyone. Their customer service is impeccable, the staff is knowledgable and go above and beyond. They have an array of stock to meet your pets needs, and you can tell the staff genuinely care about animals and their humans. Lovely place to shop at for your pets needs.

It's a great store. We've adopted both of our cats from here and they were both rescues from around the island. The employees here really seem to care about the animals that they foster and put up for adoption. All the animals are treated well, in excellent health and it shows. This establishment is far superior to big box stores (like "Mr.pets" or petcetera or whatever it's called these days) because it's a smaller business with employees that care for animals.

There's a solid food and treat selection for your pets, as well as great toys. Our cats love the real rabbit fur covered mice! I'd wholly recommend that you adopt your animals from here.

Owner and staff are fantastic. Always friendly and helpful. Wide range of products for dogs, cats, fish and others.
