Great stock. Personal asked me if I needed help like 5 times lmao very attentive. Couple things prices compared to competitors

I came in and knew what I wanted but wasn’t 100 percent sure what else I needed for the proper set up for the gecko I got and the assistance of the employee helped me very much she didn’t try to get me to buy the most expensive stuff and made sure I had wat was needed to take care of my pet n set up.

Great pet store, carries all vet recommended foods as well as a variety of toys. They also have dog training, and grooming.

Excellent choices for my cats needs. The grooming salon ladies really helped me out and did a fantastic job with my female cat. So impressed with the way they handled her and a very professional job cleaning up her long fluffy fur.

Greatt! Visit to the location! Always a pleasure seeing everyone and such a covid clean safe environment for everybody! We always find what we need! Thank you to all the staff that go out of their way to make sure we get our puppies needs!

Poor management skills. Couldn't care less about complaint re hornworms with no food. Paid 37.00 and found no food in tub to keep them alive. Now theyll die in a day or two! Such cheap cutbacks. Wow only store that doesn't care about their stock or service. Nanaimo is fabulous!

The staff were very helpful, the prices are good compared to other pet stores and they have a big selection!

My wife phoned to see if they had advantage for cats. They said yes. She arrives at store and shelf is empty. After a 5 minute search to find a clerk she is told they keep it in the back because of theft. HELLO! Maybe put a sign on the EMPTY shelf letting your customers know this. NOT Very smart!

I had an issue that I brought up to one of the employees and she directed me to the manager who was incredibly kind and made sure the problem was taken care of accordingly. I really appreciate that he goes above and beyond for customers. Thanks again!

No cashier, she was walking around, not even showing a customer around. She was not very polite.
Other then that we always go here for our pets.

Staff are super friendly and mean well! But 5 of the 9 fish I've gotten there were sick and died within a couple days. They didn't have any frog algae pellets either, after assuring me sinking bug based pellets would suffice (the frogs would try and eat them but they would spit then back out, too hard to swallow? Not sure) The kitten harnesses they have are straight up poorly designed. Zero for three. Won't be going back.

In store a couple of weeks ago. Heat exhaustion set in. Manager Michelle took the time in a busy store to get me a chair take me out to my car and waited with me for my husband to pick me up. She also brought ice water which was greatly appreciated. I swear if Michelle had not helped me that day I would probably not be here able to send this review. Once again thank you Michelle.

This is a great store. The staff are always so friendly and seem to go out of their way to be helpful. The selection is good and being open until 9: 00pm most nights is convenient. I've been pleasantly surprised a few times over the years at how great and flexible their return policy is- they even take back opened toys. Very happy regular customer here.

The birds are always so cute and worth to just stop to look at even if I'm not there for them or anything at all

Have heard this store shames people for not wearing masks even single mothers with small kids. Disgusting. Does not honour rights, medical exemptions or basic humanity.

The manager is terrible. Will not allow a medical exemption in to shop and will not let child in with out mask even if they are under 12 years old

Helpful staff but be aware.at the end of the day the employees, have one job and that's too sell u what ever pet or item u are after. Sometimes I feel they will tell u what u want to hear instead of being real and possibly losing a sale

Lots of selection, surprised that there is that many different kinds of fog food, oh we went there for dog food. They have lots of cat food as well.

This is directed to the Duncan BC Store.your staff are amazing. Today while looking for a specific product a young gentleman stopped to assist me. In his hands was his takeout coffee and snack as he was just returning from his break. Instead of continuing to the staff room he showed me where the item was and then carried it to the front of the store for me.
This level of customer service is unheard of now a days. Thank you Duncan Store for teaching your staff the skills they need in this crazy world. And huge KUDOS to that fine young man I just wish I knew your name.

For just over 6 months, I have been in and out teying to find the right food for my overly picky Pacu fish, Fred. Staff usually always have a answer, and if not, do their best. Either way, I tend to buy something while ai am at the store.even if its another fish (or four).

Great place for all my pets needs. Staff has been very help whenever I have questions. Even if they don't know they will direct me to someone who dose. Amazing people.

Excellent attentive and friendly staff. Great covid protocol in place. The girls are always fantastic with my dog. Good job Duncan PetSmart for doing it right!

Awesome store! Michelle treated my dog like gold, treating him with cookies and giving us both 5 star treatment. He even got his pic on the instagram page. We will be back. Great staff, love my duncan petsmart!

PetSmart is absolutely amazing.every time I go in there.which isn't that often.the staff is always ready to help you with every question you have.
And they always have a smile.

My family are regular customers for almost 20 years in Duncan petsmart, i know because of my dog's age that passed away recently. They used to have the best staff- friendly, helpful (& know how to count) so i gaved them a 5 star review in the past. But I noticed this last few months every time I go there to buy my pets supplies (twice a week) it's different faces (staff) that you see. I always buy 100's crickets (& etc) every trip to save time & now also to avoid going too much in the stores because of covid. Once in a while lately i will be short of some crickets not a lot so I wasn't complaining. But in my last trip in their store more than 20 are missing in the bags out of the 100 crickets that I have been buying? Every cricket is worth 15 cents if you buy a bag of under 50 then you get discounts if you buy more. So to fellow customers be aware when you buy them in big bulks. Not all employee in their store are like that only a couple that I encounter.

Nice cute sized petsmart for most of your pets needs. Some of the older employees know what they're doing, but most of them dont know a ton about the animals they work with or where anything is.

Good experience this time. The groomer was very nice and squeezed my little pup in for a nail trim. And the customer service in the retail side was excellent. She is a new employee and I did not get her name. She was very helpful.

I love shopping at this store, the staff are polite, care about what I want or need for my cat and dog, what I wish is that the emailed receipt had a feed back link so I could send feed back

Pretty good store for a box store. A little pricey in some respects. Love the groomer in particular. Great job. Super pleased. Hit miss with the knowledgeability of the staff. Some super helpful. Some less then helpful. 4 for the groomer. 3 for the store.

Not much of a high quality toy selection for dogs, lots of junky looking ones with little bits that can easily be broken off. Store was a bit messy overall, checkout was slow because the cashier was extremely chatty. Not my favorite Pet Smart.

They have everything that you would need for what ever pet you have and also have a nice selection of fish, lizards Guinea pigs.

This is my goto place for 90% of my cats supplies. Been coming here for years and most of the staff is super friendly and helpful. It's just that they have a pretty rapid turnover. Theresa is the best. Please don't leave!:). Paul's great too. Unfortunately, like all PetSmart stores, they're on corporate remote-control and cannot order items in that are not on the "store-approved" list for *that* particular store, so sometimes I need to make trips to the "larger" stores in Nanaimo or Langford or get the missing items from another pet store.

My two old Pomeranians got groomed today at Duncan Petsmart by Savanah and Meghan. They did an amazing job! My old girls have never looked better. They were well behaved there and really seemed to like everyone. I will definitely take them back! Thank-you so much Savanah and Meghan!
