Pharmasave - Westhill Centre

Usually the pharmacists and techs here are first-rate.until today. It is part of the College of Pharmacists of BC mandate to now fill prescriptions for minor ailments, and can be done over the phone. I have used this service x3 now, and am very glad that it is in place.
This has been my pharmacy (originally at Beaufort Centre) for 30+ years; my ex-husband used to work there (and I am an ex-pharmacy tech)! But when I called in today for a prescription for an anti-viral, which I've had twice fairly recently, the pharmacist said she was "too busy" to deal with it. The medication and dispensing of it is on PharmaNet. As every pharmacist knows, the sooner the administration of an anti-viral, the more efficacious it is.
I have a brand new grand-daughter, and don't want to go near her until I am treated. This did not matter to the pharmacist at Westhill Pharmasave today.
I totally understand that there is a shortage of pharmacists, and their time is at a premium, but really? I called and spoke with her x2, and in that time alone, she could have done the assessment and had the Rx entered. I will give this Pharmasave one more chance, as I've been a customer for decades, but if this business can't (or won't) use good customer service, I will certainly take my business elsewhere. Thank you.

Very uncomfortable experience tonight. Was followed around by a young male while browsing the store after telling him I didn’t need help 3 times. The fourth time another worker, a lady, came and asked if they could help seconds after the boy had just asked us. We made our purchase and left. Stop harassing good paying customers while browsing. I wasn’t done shopping and we just went across the street to Rexall where we aren’t followed around and bothered. The pharmacy team was nice but the front end clerks were treating us like criminals, it was a very unnerving interaction. I won’t be back. I’m all about supporting local, but not when being treated so oddly.

5 facemasks for $20 during the COVID pandemic is called price gouging. They should be fined!

What a fantastic business! Recently called in and had same day pharmacy service by an amazing team at pharmasave. Professional and efficient these, folks deliver first rate knowledge and care. Amazing range of services and a HUGE can do attitude! Well done to the whole team!

Went in for face masks today and my jaw dropped, 5.99 for one mask. Price gouging indeed, fines definitely should be handed out and products should be removed. I read the other complaint over the same thing. We appreciate your business and thx for your support. More like itll be a frosty Friday before i do business with you again. I will go support businesses in our community which do not rip off community members.

The older lady at the pharmacy with an obviously terrible dye job is a condescending bigoted person who needs to retire and not be allowed to interract with the general public.

I made an official complaint and it was ignored since she's still working there.

Lady, when people go to check out the items they have selected, they are aware of what they are and what purpose they serve. So save your stupid inquisitions for the people in your head!

Friendliest and most helpful staff ever. The pharmacists are very knowledgeable and take the time to explain medications. I would definitely recommend this pharmacy.
