Pharmasave Maple Ridge

They are OK, but way too corporate and in particular, their ability to maintain less-common meds is routinely poor. Kind of a Chapters experience I guess. A local smaller pharmacy is excellent in this regard of drug selection and service.

This pharmacy is amazing. They are super helpful and catch mistakes made by the doctor.

Lately the service has been pretty bad. When my prescription was on back-order due to manufacturing shortages - their solution was to call other pharmacies (who also don't have it) or to get a new prescription from my doctor - knowing doctors are booked weeks in advance. I had to call and beg three times to go onto the generic medication, something which shouldn't have been an issue and they should have offered. They have also started charging me for my prescriptions which I have special authority on. I have been paying $0 for months, but there seems to be new ownership/management and now I'm being charged. They did not seem to care that I would be without my necessary medication for weeks. If I call 3 days early for a prescription they won't fill my prescription because it's "too early", but If I call the day before or day of, they become passive aggressive for not giving them enough notice. You can't win with them. I have been going here since they first opened and it has only recently become like this.

Never seem to answer the phone, your answer machine says you’re open monday to friday 9-5pm! So where are you!

Always efficient and polite, friendly staff, it's a pleasure to visit.
