A couple nights ago, during cold spell, our furnace suddenly stopped working. Rather concerning as we have 2 year old granddaughter in the house. Put a call into Anthony around 7 pm…. He came to our house within an hour and repaired our furnace (faulty capacitor). He seems to be very qualified. Very reasonable pricing! Highly recommended.

Phillips Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning recently completed a safety check on my furnace. The service was excellent. He was punctual and the inspection was very efficiently and throughly carried out in a professional manner. In addition to his good work he was very amicable and explained everything. Excellent service. Came to our rescue after another company was trying to rake us over the coals. Anthony went out of his was to ensure our furnace was operating before the cold weather hit!

Very responsive, helpful and generous service. I changed out my old thermostat for a Honeywell Smart device. The wiring diagram called for a “C” wire. Hmmm. Not knowing at the time what exactly that was I called Phillips. Anthony responded and guided me through via voice/text and an exchange of photos (thermostat/furnace). Issue resolved for 4 hours. Furnace went out. Hmmm. Called Anthony again — reinstalled old thermostat. Furnace worked. Determined that my Armstrong transformer on the furnace could not handle the extra load. Will now attempt the same process with an Emerson (no “C” wire required). Bottom line — Anthony did not charge me for all this advice. Will not hesitate to use Phillips in the future.

Had my furnace go down Sunday morning called several companies Phillips Plumbing was the only one that got back to me spent an hour with me on the phone trying to get it running narrowed it down to a couple of devices came Monday morning did all checks on devices found that the one he originally thought was the problem igniter replaced it and BAMM up and running Anthony was outstanding will be telling everyone about Phillips Plumbing and heating

We had Phillips Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning replace our Furnace, AC and Thermostat yesterday and today in 30+ degree weather. Anthony and Christopher are 2 of the nicest guys you will ever meet. Their knowledge and workmanship is beyond compare. Somehow they replaced our HVAC system in our mobile home. It was like trying to park a limousine in a 1 car garage, but they accomplished the task with expertise and precision. We went on holidays and came back to a sweltering house so I called a couple of contractors for prices on AC and furnace. Anthony came in with the best equipment at the lowest price.

Things go wrong when the wholesaler said they had my equipment but shipped not one but both units wrong. Anthony managed to get me a bump up to a higher AC model that I had looked into earlier which was great and took the sting out of waiting a couple of extra days.

Friday of the August long weekend him and Christopher did the install and everything went smooth. A couple of hours after they left I received a call from Anthony inquiring if everything was working to my satisfaction which it was.

Anthony is a true professional, gentle soul, and hard worker. I will definitely call him again and happily recommend him to friends and family.

My experience with Anthony Phillips was one of the best I have had with service people. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and pleasant, considering he was there to fix what someone else started and was not willing to finish. He got my furnace running again and also checked my new install on my hot water tank. He found a lot of flaws done by the other company. I appreciated his honesty and his willingness to help me get heat back in my home. Anthony helped my elderly mother out a couple weeks ago with her furnace. She was extremely humbled by his kindness and workmanship. He explained things thoroughly to her and got things fixed up for her quickly. I had some issues yesterday with my own furnace so I called him and he came out Saturday morning to help me fix mine. Mine was a minor issue, but he still took the time to come out, troubleshoot and fix. He was kind, considerate and very helpful. I called Phillips Plumbing and Heating and left a message. Anthony called me back within 5 minutes and was able to fit me in that day. The fan on our furnace wouldn’t shut off and the only way for me to turn it off was the main switch. He was able to figure out the problem within minutes and fixed it and took the time to explain to me what was happening. He even called the next day to make sure it was running properly. Now that’s great service. I’ll be using Anthony for our furnace and AC services in the future.

I talked to Anthony about my air conditioner because it was not working. He gave me very good advice, I checked my breaker box and saw the switch had flipped. The air conditioner worked. Had Tony over at the place as we had a clogged bathroom drain and after checking different pricing Tony quoted virtually 1/3 the price as we were going to be charged a ridiculous $300 for a different business to come out…& it wasn’t a weekend! He even offered to help show us how to prevent it in the future. We received very good quality and fast service. What does one do when your AC crashes in the middle of a heat wave and one repair Company tells you they will able to make an appointment in 4 weeks time? You then call Anthony at Phillips Plumbing & AC, West Kelowna. Anthony returned my text within an hour by phoning me to help solve my AC woes. A reminder this is during the Canada Day 4 day Long weekend. Anthony was able to determined that my problem was a fan motor CAPACITOR malfunction. Within an hour, I picked up the part at his home and was up and running again with AC which was a huge relieve. Kudos to Anthony and I highly recommend "Phillips Plumbing & AC", West Kelowna BC.

In early June there was a real heat wave in Kelowna. My elderly mother's air conditioner was running but it was not cooling down the house. I was worried because the heat can be dangerous to the elderly and I didn't have a way to cool the house down. Called Phillips HVAC and Anthony responded right away, he diagnosed the faulty capacitor and replaced it to get the AC working again. I was impressed at how quickly he could resolve the problem and it was a great relief to have cool air coming out of the vents. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Anthony worked extremely hard to revive our old furnace but parts were hard to come by and expensive. He went out of his way try to make it work but our machine was well past it's lifespan, which is common in our neighbourhood. When it was time to move forward and replace the furnace all together, there was no question that Anthony was our guy! He is honest and hard working. He didn't charge us for trying to repair our old machine and his pricing was very reasonable for our new set up. We definitely recommend his services.

I met Anthony Phillips at a plumbing supply shop where I was buying parts to trouble shoot a problem with our pool heater. Over-hearing my conversation with the sales desk, he offered some suggestions as to how I might address the problem. When my amature-ish attempts didn't work several months later, I called him up to arrange for a service call. Instead, he stepped me through the process of checking various circuits over the phone, until the problem was resolved with the replacement of a $20.00 part. When I offered to send him an e-transfer for his time, he declined! In an era where tradesmen are apt to rip-off customers (particularly the elderly) with over-inflated costs and unnecessary work, Anthony Phillips is a refreshing flashback to a time where people conducted themselves with honesty and integrity. If/when our air conditioner or furnace needs attention, I will be calling Anthony first, because this guy is the real deal.

Left a message for Anthony, which he promptly called us back faster than most trades people in Kelowna. Was at our house (which we have just moved into five weeks earlier) the next day checking out our A/C unit, that was suddenly sounding sick. He replaced a capacitor which had the unit up and running again in ten minutes, but only blowing hot air. We decided to buy a new Tempstar A/C unit through him, so he did not charge us for the initial service call and new part. The new A/C unit was installed and runs beautifully in just over a week. We would have liked it faster, but what can you do when your A/C unit dies during the summer months. He was honest, up front about the time before he could install, and wished it was faster too. Anthony was friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable. The guy knows his stuff! We won't hesitate to call Phillips Heating and cooling in the future, for any HVAC issues. Thanks Anthony!
