Pho Don

I order Pho Tai (rare beef) all the time. The rare meat is supposed to cook in the soup as the broth should be extremely hot. Not the case here! What I received was a bowl with a pink broth and half cooked and half rare meat. I call this “blood soup”. Point is the broth is not hot enough to cook the meat as well as the ratio of rare meat to broth is off. A small bowl of pho soup will not cook a mass amount of raw cold meat, it’s just science folks. I will not be going to dine here ever again. PS the bathrooms are atrocious, like absolutely disgusting. I feel sorry for anyone who has to use them whilst dining. The grease on the floor is a major slipping hazard.

Ordered two “large” pho and chocolate banana desserts via door dash. I spent $100 on pathetic meal that should have been worth HALF

#1 pho is TINY with only two pieces of meat

#2 where are the sprouts and other items you add to pho?

#3 where is chocolate for the “chocolate bananas”? !?

PRICE IS NOT WORTH WHAT YOU GET (or lacktherof)

It was my favourite place for pho, but In my last visit I have been with around 15 friends and the service was terrible, the waiters were rude all the time, we wanted to order tea and water and they told us that it could only be one thing, throughout the night they did not offer us water again and when we asked for more they gave us a bad answer (or bad faces). It was my birthday celebration and all my guests received terrible attention. In the end I asked to speak to the manager and they told me he wasn't there.

Love the pho! Soooo good the broth! It has a strong meat taste and properly seasoned so it’s not blend as all.one bowl of it is super satisfying during the cold weather

Lots of parking during lunch time. The staff is rushing us to order on a not busy day and we’ve just sat on the chair in less than 5 minutes.

The sign says the finest beef noodle soup, and it is. Many options for all tastes. Service was great, prices are very reasonable.

4.5 its very reliable place to get a decent food for less than 20$. Nice and friendly staff. Waiting time is decent and quality is good is not the best

Delicious food, probably the best spring roll I've had. Ate here for two meals, has combo C which was delicious and good portions. Then second meal was calamari and a beef Vietnamese sub.

The Pork Vermicelli Bowl with Spring Roll was excellent. Tender pork slices and super crunchy but not over fried spring rolls.

My friend had the traditional Pho and she said the soup based was excellent.

It's always excellent Vietnamese food when your in that area. Lots of seating and very fast service. Wheelchairs accessible aswell. What can I say one bite of heaven and you'll keep coming for more.

The food was very good. We didn't have too wait long. We both had chicken balls with noodles. Nice portion size.

Took so long for the food to come. The flavour questionable and the waitress CERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Instead of offer information about the menu she showed attitude like she was too smart to talk to us. Girl if u r not happy with your job don’t let the customers pay for that. NEVER AGAIN

I love their foods and atmosphere.and also they waitress are very nice.and we come over there every week and we love the fact the place is open till 1 am.specially in a long summer nights nowwhere else is open. I had my best pho there.

Omg, i had Pho with a peanut butter sauce, I never tried something like this before but the waitress insisted and highly recommended it, she said that it’s their best seller!

Super super disappointed, no sauce so dry and super super super Spicy like unbelievably spicy!

I couldn’t eat is so I ordered spring rolls, they were super oily like they smell burned oil

I did not eat anything (except a bite of a spring roll and a bit of pho) they did not even propose a discount or a replacement after I told them that I am super disappointed.

They said I quote: oh I’m sorry, how do you like to pay! I paid and left.

Do not go there!

Only reason I will come here is if I am craving pho after 9pm. The pho is okay but definitely below Vancouver standard of pho.

Wow this place was really good! I tried the chicken with peanut sauce, asked for a side of soup broth and ordered a strawberry shake.

The beef stew was very good and filling. I am doing keto so asked for no noodles and they gave me lots of vegetables instead which was delicious.

This is my choice after late night work, when everything is closed. Best service, friendly staff. You guys rock! Thank you

Do not order a beef lemongrass vermicelli here, it's not authentic. What came out looked and tasted more like a Chinese beef stir fry with some sort of brown sauce on top of vermicelli. And the sauce that's supposed to come with vermicelli tasted like sweet sour sauce but watery. It was weird. Not authentic Vietnamese cuisine, but I guess no one in the area cares or knows what it's supposed to taste like anyway so they don't seem to care.

Great spot right on Hastings to get some great food after a concert or a night out partying, since it opens late. I think they close at 2 am! We got there after midnight and it was packed! Their pho was very good and had tons of beef and noodles. Everything was super fresh.

Staff are friendly. The space is large and accommodating. Service is quick. Usually there is plenty of parking. I come here often. However if your favorite thing is pho there broth can be hit or miss. I don't know why. Sometimes the broth tastes great. Other times its underseasoned! I usually get the vermicelli or rice dishes. The coffee is great though.

A very popular spot and spacious seating. The House Special soup was great. The soup spoons were interesting with the curve handles.

Amazing customer service! Came in late night and I personally find every Vietnamese restaurant taste the same, only difference is their service quality and definitely worth revisiting.

This has to be the best Pho establishment. The food is so good and is very consistent. The family that runs it are all just lovely. I need to est here every time I visit Vancouver.

Quite pricy compare to other vietnamese places. Sometimes there is only 1 sever so you may have to wait a bit. Big upside is that they open late:)

Pho portion is generous as well as bbh (spicy pho) but pho is terribly salty with no pho'aroma and bbh is a short cut version of pho, basically they just add spicy chilli in pho and made it bbh. Not recommended to anyone who really wants to go for pho or bun bo hue here.

Their prices has gone up but it’s okay since I cant complain about their food. Always crispy and hot. Tasty as always! Loved the calamari and deep fried wonton.

Super good late night pho restaurant for those cold nights.especially when it's raining.the end of day hot soup you've been waiting for.

The worst pho and pork chop I have ever tried. Also, the service was horrible. They should have provided proper service even if they were too busy to care about the customers. I will never visit the place again.

Solid pho place. Come here on my break all the time and it's always out in under 10 minutes. Good tasting and similar prices to most other pho places.

Food is ok at best. Soup base is a bit better than when they first opened. But not following covid protocol, no checking of the ID, or passport. Had it ready and they said it's ok, we don't check.

Satisfying broth. Good temperature for eating! Bright space, with big windows. Good spot steps away from PNE events!

Had Won Ton soup and it was incredible. We were a group and they had extra staff to take care of us.

Excellent beef noodle soup and they don't hesitate to give you extra sauce! Their shrimp salad rolls rule too

My first Vietnamese restaurant so take my word however you will but it was incredible here. Loved the small little shop and the food was excellent. If you're looking for a decent place to grab a bite, stop by here, it's worth a try.

Our go to restaurant in the neighborhood. Very fair prices for great food. Staff it's always welcoming. Only improvement in my eyes would be too offer more vegetarian/vegan dishes.

The service was good but the Pho was pretty bad. I will come back and try the rice dish next week!

They have the best vegetarian pho with variety of vegetables. The soup base is tasty and always hot.

The food was good and i love the fried noodle not sure if this vietnamese or not never have tried this before but need to confirm it with my authentic viet acquaintances. The price was around $13 and opens till late until past midnight so it was reasonable and the size was reasonable. Was about to give 4 star until i saw the sign amex cant be used and i checked amex website its in the map. Whoops busted! Dishonesty is the worst thing to do in a business. Please dont be dishonest again and remove the sign. If you agree to accept amex, please accept and be honest about it or one day it would bite you just letting you know. By the way, business dishonesty is a canadian crime under the canadian crime act. So you know what to do. Cheers!

Food is alright, convenient location for me so I visit often after work. But something happened the last time I was there that made me decide to never return.

Usually there are two young ladies who are super kind so I don’t want to fault them at all. The last time, there was a younger man who was serving me. First of all, his clothes were filthy, hair a mess, looked like he just got out of bed. Overall did not look hygienic enough to be serving food.

I then watched him drop a spoon on the floor while setting up a nearby table. I watched him question putting the spoon back on the table and was about to do so until I stared right at him and he noticed. If I have to watch him in order for him not to do that, then he is probably doing it when no one is watching….

Advice to management:

Your people represent your business and food. If your people don’t look hygienic, your food doesn’t look hygienic either.

Hire the right people, one bad apple that doesn’t care about the health of their customers can ruin your business. One bad experience, even though I have had good experiences in the past, will result in no more experiences for me in the future. Expand that to your whole customer base and you will lose a ton of regulars that you rely on.

Pho was ok, great that they open until 2am. The fried squid appetizer was pretty good. Service was also good.

Covid protocols were followed.
Food was great, decent prices and portions
Calamari was great, very crunchy.
They charge extra for take out boxes.

This place used to be better when they first opened. I was there today and ordered chicken fried rice and asked the waitress to please tell the cook to use very light amount of oil, also if she can add shrimps to my rice, she said it would be extra like $3 and i said ok, when my food arroved it looked like it was cooked in the deep fryer, soaking with oil and there was only like 4 tiny shrimps, and i was charged like $26 for this nightmare of a dish, also the tea was cold and found the service very rude, I will not recomend this place to anyone, and i noticed there was only 2 other people eating here?

Vegeterian / Vegan Pho is to die for. They put lots of veggies in it compare to other pho restaurants.l tried vegeterian fried rice yesterday and it was also very tasty.l tought l should give them a review as it is my favorite pho restaurant so far. Thank you guys.

Good food but extremely louzy service. Even when theres like 4 people in the restaurant they dont come to your table. Youre an inconvienience for them

I like this pho restaurant the ingredients seem pretty fresh and the broth is good and I love how they are open extra late.

Something about this Phò. Keeps drawing me back. I usually go for a chicken phò with beef broth & the son of a gun knocks it outta the park every single time.

The food was decent though not as good as others I’ve had. They have some really bad service. We waited very long for everything and the servers literally ignored us and helped every one else first. We were asked twice if we had paid before they bothered helping us because they went back to helping other customers. Due to this we missed our bus. We won’t be coming back.

This is such a great place to have #103 Combo B that's Chicken Kabob and Prawns Kabob on Rice or Vermicelli and #50 Hot and Sour Seafood Noodle Soup so delicious I hardly recommend

Really tasty pho. The special was amazing. Lots of tendon (collagen) which is extreemly healthy for you. I think they do use MSG in there soup since I had a reaction to it. Still worth the discomfort. Plus they serve authentic spring rolls. Service was great and fast. Open to indoor dining now. Come on down and enjoy!

Worst pho place ever! Go across the street to le petite Saigon instead if you want authentic pho. Your welcome.

Ok pho, but I've had much better. There are tastier ones just west of this location. After you receive your food, you'll never see the waitress again so you better order everything you need up front. The place is a little dirty especially the restrooms and they aren't the friendliest waitresses I've delt with. They look confused when I don't leave a big tip, maybe they will figure it out!

Broth is good but the time we went there noodles are soggy, customer service worse than your average pho place. Also salad rolls has super thin slices of shrimp and full of vermicelli. If not for the broth ill give them 1 star

I have been oreldered from this place 4 times because its close to where I stay and the service id terrible because when I pick up my food, they did not serve us but point to our food sitting cold on the side also the food is not geniun Vietnamese food either.its a water down version

I stopped in to Pho Don on a whim, to have a bite to eat. Boy, what a great meal! I even told my friend that it was one of the best meals I ever had (age 65). Flavour of the coconut curry sauce was excellent, the veggies were cooked just the right amount, big prawns. Price reasonable. Service good.

First time trying this place out on an order to go: #2 shrimp salad roll and #14 pork and fried spring rolls vermicelli. Food and portion was great. Enjoyed it very much. Took about 15-20 mins for my order to be ready. Not bad if you’re not in a hurry. Staff were nice and welcoming as first impression when I walked in. I was a bit wary for awhile to try this place out because of all the so-so review I’ve read but they didn’t disappoint. Definitely going back again to this place. The only reason I didn’t give the perfect 5 stars is because the person who ordered to go also after me got offered a drink while they wait for their order and I was snubbed. But not a big deal will still go back!

Yum. First time here, I ordered just brisket, all their veggies added, spicy. So so good! Found my new favourite pho in Vancouver.

Ordered a large pho, barely had any noodles. Ordered with tendons, recieved one tiny piece of beef tendons.

I'm actually surprised by all these negative reviews. I never had negative experience at this place.
This place is my husband and I's fav pho restaurant in Vancouver. Their broth is so good. I can't eat pho from other places, this restaurant is the only place I would order pho.
But our all-time fav is fried rice! Chicken or seafood. It's so different from your ordinary chinese fried rice (I know.this is vietnamese), we LOVE it! So so good and the portions are generous. Servers are always so nice, I personally don't get why people say their service was bad.

They give u more meat than any other pho place I've been too. Most other places just load up your large bowl with noodles. Definitely a good place to go to.

They were a bit upset because my table opted to order alcoholic beverages while we sat in the restraunt.little did they know that when we were leaving we ordered food to go.so they gave attitude and ignored us most of the time we were sitting in the establishment.it should not matter what we order while we are there as long as we order something.but I won't be coming back here again

Servers won’t bug you in the middle of feast but fast enough to service if ever you need them. Good for keeping convos with friends and not getting disturbed devouring your food.

Place is pretty clean and price wise is sliiiiggtthhlyy cheaper compared to the other late night pho place.

Ambiance pretty mellow with light music playing at background (No techno or dubsteps here).

This is a Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine if you like Beef noodle or Fire rice it is a good place to go and the price is reasonable.

Love this place and its food and the servers are young and energetic. Super hard working, but staff need to know NEVER to put anything on tables in front of BABIES. NO hot soup, plates off food, drinks, scissors - please.

I dont know why this place doesnt already have a higher rating! We had dinner there last night. Tried their calamari, special beef pho, crispy duck and taro ice blended bubble tea. Everything was yummy! The calamari was well seasoned and deep fried to a crispy goodness. The signature dip for the crispy duck was so addictive. Just the right balance of salty and spicy. I requested for my bubble tea to be less sweet and it turned out fine as well. The service wasnt exactly top-notch (they were a little overwhelmed by the dinner crowd and werent very attentive) but the food more than makes up for it.

If only i could put zero star! First of all i only came here cause Laksa King was close this day and I’m starving so i had no choice but to try this attention seeker restaurant with all these decorations in front greeting happy 2020. And then I ordered sea food noodles, And to my surprise seing just 1shrimp, 2fish fillet 1squid and the rest fishballs and lastly the annoying staff that doesn’t even know how to smile! Worst restaurant I’ve been and definitely not gonna come back nor recommend!

Good food, fast service, convenient location. Portions are decent. Ordered #1, #67 & #64 had to ask twice for soy sauce for each meal. Open late! 3.8 stars!

I ordered twice, directly to my server today, she didn't write it down but agreed that she heard my order. A sandwich and a vermicelli. She wrote down my friends order and his came. But mine never did. Nor did I get a refill on water or tea, or a single employee coming by to see if there was anything needed or missing. Oh! Also never got my order I also asked for twice.

Maybe good for take out? I couldn't tell you because I was never fed, even though we were the only table in the restaurant.

The go to spot for me & the boys! Always go here just to relax & enjoy some good food while I catch up with everyone.

A bit more than your run of the mill neighborhood pho eatery. Wider than usual variety of pho soups, noodle dishes and drinks plus additional main dishes incl.crispy duck. The deep fried banana and ice cream is really good.

The food is good and affordable but the bathroom (at least the men's) is disgusting. Covered in racist, sexist graffiti.

The soup was lukewarm and the meat pieces was tough. Can't even eat the meat pieces. Over price and an underachiever cook!

Bland and un-authenticatic. I tried the soup, fried rice and vermicelli. Chicken was dry but nice and crispy.

Oh my goodness. The best food ever! I love all of it. The staff is terrible. Every time I go in I'm ignored and frowned upon. I will not be returning again after my last experience. Which is sad cause I visit regularly.
