I might as well tell my family doctor to take me off his list because #3 large pho bowl here literally cures everything

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! GO ELSEWHERE! Why? Let me tell you: when you first walk in it smelled bad, but we were hungry before we catch the ferry. So, we try their deep fried wontons, which only 5 pieces came out, never have I ever been served that few before. We also tried their Pho, I had the chicken and my partner had the beef brisket. We both said Large orders, but mine was definitely NOT a large, I even put the bowls beside each other and my bowl was smaller as I suspected as soon as it arrived. Because come on, I know my Pho bowls after loving the dish for many years. The food itself was okay, but my noodles were over cooked, they fell apart while eating, then I was eating them by bits and pieces. Theenn, I go to the bathroom and see a bottle of comet the cleaning agent and see it on the floor next to the floor vent with a lot poured around and in it. Yuk! Nobody wants to see that!

We've been going here for years for the best lemongrass porkchop on rice (61) and beef noodle soup (22). Don't let the sketchy decor and dilapidated building deter you - it becomes part of the charm over time and keeps the crowds away. The later you arrive, the more tender the beef in the soup. The soup is rich and packed full of flavour. The porkchop is tender enough to eat with chopsticks, no knife necessary, just pick-up and dig in. They must marinate it for hours and use a charcoal grill because it is packed full of juicy, smoky flavour. Be forewarned that parking is scant. Do not park next door at the Denny's or you will be ticketed/towed.

We decided to visit this restaurant after seeing heresuch a good rating. Though the restaurant’s outside look doesn’t lure you in, my order Bun Bo Hue was phenomenal. Quickly served and spicy as described. There is room for improving staff’s serving - I found it very straightforward with as less talking as possible.

Pho Japolo has been around for quite a number of years. They have several locations but for a long time the one in North Vancouver was the only one I knew of. After years of not trying it, I finally got around to trying it and wow. I'm hooked on Pho Japolo now!

We all loved our food. The (Veggies and deep fried tofu with vermicelli) tofu in my bowl was incredibly crispy. When I bit into the tofu it made a "crunch" sound that was extremely audible and gave me goosebumps all over. Our daughter loved her Grilled Lemongrass Chicken Submarine; mu husband said that he had tried a different location of Pho Japolo and had been very happy with the food there already, but that the food at this location was even better.

Been going here for years. My favourite Pho on the North Shore. Food is always fresh and fast. It’s a little challenging to get to with all the construction around it but worth the trip. As it cooler, highly recommend if in the mood for some tasty soup or a crispy sandwich.

Not very friendly or welcoming. The servers were grumpy and it didn't seem like they liked their jobs.
The food, not so good. Ordered Spring rolls and couldn't eat them. The taste was bad and they were way overpriced for the portions.
The chicken and pork on rice was so so. Didn't like the undercooked chicken skin!
The place wasn't that clean especially for these days. And a very bad parking lot. Not very wheelchair friendly.
Would not recommend this please.

It is so easy to miss this place, but if you happen by try their kitchen. They are super freindly, the service is fast and the dishes are simply amazing.

Do not let the looks fool you. This might be the best Pho I have ever had, and I have had many. This simple looking restaurant makes the tastiest, most delicious broth and noodle combination in Vancouver. They pack everything so neatly and with care, making the whole taking out experience even more enjoyable. Definitely my go to since day one. If you’re in doubt about getting Pho, do not hesitate to order from this place. You will not be disappointed.

Lovely little spot for pho. Delicious and I love that they offer two different sizes as I've found most places in Vancouver don't do that for some reason! I couldn't find my wallet after dining here but thankfully the server allowed me to e-transfer to cover my bill. Great service!

Cool little restaurant with great food! Best Vietnamese food I’ve had - maybe ever! Rustic building with a great feel, sloped floor and not a square corner in sight. Really enjoyed this place and will definitely be back!

Food was great. Portions are excellent and filled nicely. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Parking was ok but a little small for size of the restaurent.

Went after going to Cypress, and waited a long time to be seated in a nearly empty restaurant. Staff wasn’t very attentive to the customers for ordering and paying the bill. But anyways, food was pretty good. Portions are sizeable and filled our appetites, though the soups are slightly over salted.

Number one rare beef add vegetables. Then put tons of chili oil sauce in it.so delicious Stayed at the Travelodge Hotel they give you 10% discount. Went there every day. Would recommend to any Pho lover.

The best pho place in North Vancouver, I ordered the create your own pho, with beef balls, steak, and tendon. The broth was just right, and the noodles were absolutely delicious!

In North Vancouver, the main entrance always looks like a mess. Cigarette buts, old chair for staff to smoke, and garbage strewn around and piles.

Food is good, but inside is not looked after. Carpet is torn and old.

The soup was very tasty, just a little too sweet. You get a large amount of food for the money.

This is the best pho place in the north shore I’ve been to so far. Portions are good and prices are fair. They have good vegetarian options. Not ideal place for vegan food. They have a really nice real mango smoothie, it’s very yummy. I come here for the pho brisket soup and the lemon grass chicken rice dishes. There is plenty of parking, just make sure to register your plate number at the restaurant.

Get little restaurant, ma & pa joint, now by the whole family. When I’m working in North Vancouver, always stop in for lunch or a snack. My comfort food is always Pho #16 & 1 Vietamese coffee, hot or cold. I’ve eaten a lot of Vietamese Pho restaurants, their flavor is different from the others. Rich & full flavor broth, lemon glass pork chops or chicken with rice is always good. Thanks to the Tran family, keep up the good cooking.

The best comfort food after a long days work. I always get the same thing and it never lets me down. Beef stew w/ bread (#24-Bánh Mì Bò Kho) & Veggies marinated grilled pork slices & minced pork (#76-Bún thịt nem nướng). Highly recommend!

Very good service and great food with an extensive selection of plates to choose from. Having parking and not being expensive make this place a 5 stars.

Service is so ok but the price is not good

The food is authentic and very good. We tried the pho and rice dishes and all were very good. Don't let the outside of the building turn you off (it looks old and small). We stayed in that area for 3 days (visiting from Houston, where there are many Vietnamese restaurants) and ate there all 3 days because my parents only like to eat Vietnamese food.

The saltiest pho I have ever had. The broth was so salty I could not drink it, could only eat the meat/toppings. Ordered to-go and the portion was tiny, especially for the price paid. It was like half a meal and cost $15.
