Pho Tan Vietnamese Restaurant Beef Noodle Soup & Bubble Tea

My favourite Pho spot in Canada… I’m only revisiting Vancouver from Toronto once you guys open back up!

Loyal Pho Tan customer at Main St, was disheartened when it closed. So happy to visit this location in Kerrisdale. The savoury and smooth taste of the broth was so missed and the spring rolls were almost as good as Bao Chau's (really disheartened when John retired and closed down this east-end eatery)

Favourite pho place of all time! I had the pleasure of assisting the owner at work, and he is a very welcoming and down-to-earth person. Pho is generally a tasty dish no matter who makes it, but Pho Tan just gets it perfect. Prices are good and the location is convenient.

Great family-owned business. I have been there countless times, and have always enjoyed the food there. #16 is incredibly tasty and is native to this restaurant - there’s no other pho restaurants that makes this or makes it as well as them.

Special shoutout to the guy working at the restaurant that knows me by name (seems to be son of the owner (?) if you see this - let me know your name as well lol!). Incredibly nice and makes my gf and I feel welcome every time.

The only caveat - since we’ve been here so many times - the price has increased a lot since we’ve first been there but it’s 100% still worth it because it’s so tasty.

Nice creamy bowl of satay beef pho. Appreciate the piping hot soup that stayed hot throughout the meal.

Great pho. The beef pho is a solid choice. If you don't have peanut allergy the Satay Beef #16 is a must try!

This place is amazing! 10/10 recommend the Satay Beef in Peanut Sauce & Coconut Milk. It’s #16. I have a gluten intolerance and dairy intolerance and I don’t get sick from it! Eat at your own risk though if you have severe gluten and dairy allergies. Whenever I’m in the neighborhood I always try to dine in or takeout.

Bro seriously. Try the peanut satay pho. It’s the best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth. And I’ve put MANY things in there.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pho Tan Vietnamese Restaurant, and I must say that the food there is truly amazing! The prices are also quite reasonable, which makes it an excellent choice for those on a budget. One dish that I highly recommend is the banh mi, which is also known as a vitnamese sub. I particularly enjoyed the chicken version, which had a great price and amazing taste. It was full of flavor and the bread was fresh and crispy. Another dish that I always order is the lemongrass chicken with rice. It's my go-to, and it offers a lot of bang for your buck. The chicken is perfectly cooked and the flavors are absolutely amazing. Lastly, I have to mention the peanut satay soup with beef, which is one of the most amazing dishes I've ever had. If you enjoy spicy food, noodles, peanut sauce, and beef, then this is definitely a must-try. The flavours are simply out of this world! Although the food at Pho Tan Vietnamese Restaurant is exceptional, I have to say that the staff is not always the nicest. In my past experiences, they have been a bit rude. However, this is a small price to pay for such amazing food. Overall, if you're looking for delicious Vietnamese cuisine at great prices, then Pho Tan is definitely worth checking

I know I can always count on their soup to be just as good as the the last time I would have a meal here! My go to is #16 and you can’t find one just as creamy and delicious as theirs. Highly recommend!

Fantastic place to grab a quick bite in kerrisdale. Food is tasty and the service is attentive. I only wish there was a bit more inside the Bahn mi as it was mostly bread with one slice of ham.

Best Pho around. Get the special pho, been coming here for over a decade and can't get enough.

Soup is too oily and salty. A lot of people during closing time. Wish there were more noodles. I asked for extra noodles and there were barely any noodles. See the picture? That’s all the noodles picked up, the rest of the bowl is empty. Finished in four slurps. I cant imagine ordering regular amount of noodles.

Wonderful Vietnamese food! Highly recommend this family restaurant. One of the tastiest places we’ve been to.

Shared 4 dishes with my family after a hike nearby and we all agreed this was some of the best Vietnamese food we’ve ever had. Highly recommend if you’re in the area! Very reasonable priced too.

Pho is great for a good price but expect kidney stones after you drink the broth because they put in a handful of salt in it.
