Pho Tau Bay

It was awesome…last minute with My family, the owner I think hes the owner…hes very friendly and polite, he served as well! My Dad loves going there because there food is very delicious and the portion is good compare to other Restaurant. Will definetly going back there again.

We found this place driving through the area, and we're amazed by such delicious food in a small unassuming location. The pho broth is very flavorful and rich (didn't need to add hoisin or siracha). My bf got the curry beef with rice, which was also super flavorful, and the meat was so tender and juicy. The service was very friendly as well. We live a 25 min drive from here, and we already plan to come back just for the food.

Food is tasty but prices went up a lot and portion sizes went down. Service is usually bad, I usually ordered one of the combo dinners but price went up $5. I never get a bill, and total always seems too high for what I ordered. Not going back

Friendly service, nice looking restaurant. Food was excellent. Loved the soup had lots of flavor good amount of meat. The spring rolls were delicious. I will definetly be back.

Great Pho! Ordered the spicy broth with chicken. Good quantity, could not finish it. Restaurant has good atmosphere too!

Staff doesn’t understand English, told us lie they put the sauces inside the bag but they didn’t. It happened two times. Make sure you have cash handy they wasted our one hour just because their debit machine was not working.
Get ready to face angry, desperate and smile less face on the counter. People like Vietnam food here in canada so every restaurant is busy that’s way they treat people like crazy.

First time visit and will agree that the food quality is excellent. Had the #8 and wife had the #30.

Pho broth was very savory and delicious, with a very good portion of meat. The only downside is that they only offer "large" size now, but their large is the same as a "regular" for many other Pho restaurants.

Wife enjoyed her vermicelli bowl and said their pork patties are some of the best she has had compared to other frequently visited Pho restaurants we've been to.

Taste is very good! Portion is okay, not too big. I wish their noodle soup have large size instead of 1 size. Service is fast and good. Will be back again nxt time. Recommend this place.

I just love the Bun Bo Hue at Pho Tau Bay. Generous serving with a lot of meat! Very savory soup as well.

My only con is that when I ask for extra limes (I love extra limes), it seems like pulling teeth and I get the distinct feeling I'm crossing "the red line" of requests by grumpy looking faces. If it costs extra, no problem, but each time I ask, the staff takes their time on the request (a very long time, often cleaning up other tables, and other tasks, telling me my request is very low on the priority list), and well, make me feel it is a problem asking, lol. Sometimes I have to ask several times. Perhaps I should supply my own extra lime. Most other joints have no issue with that request and bring a whole bunch of extras.

I asked for another plate for food and she told me she was going to charge me $2 for it keep in mind i was doing dine in not take out

It's not my favorite place. The food quality has gone down a bit but I think that's more because of COVID than anything else. They didn't have the peanut sauce which is a staple to all my dishes. The portion has gone down a bit too, I didn't have enough noodles for my meat which never happens.

I was not a 'pho' lover but, with their service and food i love having 'Pho' dishes when ever i get a chance.
I am extremely happy because my mom enjoyed the food there and was memorizing the childhood dishes back home.

Order the number 1! Really tasty broth and the spring rolls are hot and crispy. Lots of meat too. I wish they gave more basil and jalapenos on the side though and had bottles of sauce rather than small packets. Friendly service.
