Pierre's Point Campground

Quiet campground. The beach was very quiet and not busy. Mix of rocks and sand. No duck itch. The trains are pretty loud going by, that might bother some people but doesn't bother us. Free mini golf and a store on site. Dog beach is big and fenced in, open until 11. Brand new playground. Flush toilets, showers, and laundry on site. Hook ups for power and sewage

A beautiful view with great facilities. We went in a quiet period so we practically had the campsite to ourselves however in the height of the summer I can imagine it gets very busy and the campsites are very close together. The facilities were lovely and clean which was a huge plus for us. The biggest downside of this campsite was the trains going by all night. It was very loud and we were in a roof top tent. Luckily we only stayed for 1 night because we didn't manage to get any sleep at all. It's a shame because otherwise this would have been a great experience. Bring ear plugs!

Beautiful views of the lake. Camp sites are too close, lots of dust, no pads, or grass on sites and a train comes every hour or so, couldn't sleep it was very loud.

Noisy and cramped. Also, if your plans change at all within 14 days, you will not get a refund.

The staff were all extremely friendly - in particular the male owner (forget his name) who was very welcoming and accommodating upon our arrival. We asked to change sites and this was agreed and confirmed quickly.

Its worth mentioning that this campground is full of permanent residence RVs with a small section reserved for guest bookings. This means that each site is extremely close to the next, with little room or privacy between one and other. The campground is near a train track that runs regularly and is extremely loud but with earplugs at night this isn’t audible.

The campground is right on the lake which allows easy access for swimming or water activities plus a great view for the sunset, that said the overall campground is not as scenic as a BC Park campground because of the proximity to each guest/resident, open planned set up and dusty ground. This campground is probably best suited to families with younger children as there were lots of kids playing together who are open to getting to know their camper neighbours!

Awesome campsite along the river! Nice little getaway from reality! The place is kept up nicely! The 3 gentlemen that work there really keep the place in order! Really enjoyed ourselves! Hopefully get there again soon, but next summer for sure.

Have no reasons to gives less than 5 stars. Awesome spot, right next nice beach and beautiful lake. Friendly staff

Great location! Lake is amazing. Campground has laundry, public wash station, playground, and a general store.
